Sephiroth World Traveler

When Vali started charging toward him he made sure to fly at his top speed so that his fist attack would have maximum force behind it, all he needed to do was to touch him and then he could start using his divine dividing on Sephiroth.

Severely weakening him and putting himself at full power for this fight, even if that didn't work he had another ace up his sleeve if it really came down to it.

When Vali finally got within arm's reach of Sephiroth and was about to hit his face, Sephiroth simply moved his head to the side at the last moment dodging the strike but put him in a perfect position to counter attack Vali.

Sephiroth kneed him right in the stomach putting a stop to all his momentum suddenly causing a lot of damage to Vali's body and cracking his armor right where he hit him. Add Sephiroth's strength and the added boost that the armor gives him plus the speed that Vali was coming in, it makes sense that he was able to easily crack Vali's armor and cause a lot of damage.

Sephiroth used enough force to stun him but not enough to launch him away just make him float in the air for a moment but that was all that Sephiroth needed.

"Boost,Boost,Boost,Boost,Boost," Ddraig says and right when Vali is about to recover and attack Sephiroth again, Sephiroth launches his own fist right into the damaged area of his armor where the crack is.

When Sephiroth's first made contact with Vali's stomach he used "Explosion" and unleashed all of his built up power effectively sending Vali flying away from him.

"Damn it, I wasn't able to touch him" Vali muttered to himself spreading his wings out to stop himself from flying any further away and started channeling his magical power to heal his armor from the damage that he just took.

"Vali, be careful we won't last long if we keep taking hits like that" Albion said to his partner while helping him direct his magical power to speed up fixing it.

"Ya I know, I just need to get one good hit on him then the tides will turn" Vali stated then decided to try again but this time with some magic to distract him so he can get in close.

While in the air Vali cast several fireballs in the air toward Sephiroth some at him and the others around him in a wide range making sure that he won't be able to dodge them all. Sephiroth, seeing this decided to allow himself to be hit to test the strength of his armor.

Vali seeing that he was about to hit Sephiroth on the ground charged up some more fireballs and had them hover around himself ready to launch at Sephiroth wherever he decided to dodge.

He was confused though when he saw that Sephiroth didn't move at all and allowed the fireballs to hit him, Vali knew that he would have been able to dodge those easily if his earlier speed was anything to go by.

Sephiroth crossed his arms over his body and withstood the fireballs and the explosions that they caused, when the smoke cleared there was some damage done to the armor but nothing severe just some small cracks here and there and scorch marks on it.

"Partner, why didn't you just dodge that or use a boost to strengthen yourself?" Ddraig said to Sephiroth in his head confused by his action just now.

"I wanted to see the base strength of the armor" Sephiroth simply said, not even bothering to factor in that he could have gotten seriously hurt if Vali was just a little bit more powerful. Ddraig didn't say anything after that and just kept quiet.

Having had enough of being defensive, Sephiroth activated the boosters on his back while charging his power "Boost, Boost, Boost, Boost, Boost, Boost, Boost" he flew right toward Vali at an incredible speed.

Vali seeing this sent the several fireball spells that he had around him right at Sephiroth and then braced himself for the attack that was coming. He knew that those fireballs could at best slow him down but not stop him.

Sephiroth just straight up ignored the fireballs that were sent at him and they just hit his armored body but because he was strengthened this time they didn't do any damage or slow him down at all. Popping out of the smoke caused by the fireballs he connects his fist but not to Vali's c.h.e.s.t like he wanted but to his opened palm that was waiting for him.

Stopping his attack but not without taking some damage to his arm Vali was finally able to have physical contact with him and he didn't hesitate at all and immediately started using his divine dividing to weaken Sephiroth and strengthen himself.

"Hmm so this is what it feels like" thought Sephiroth when he noticed that he was losing power. While Vali and Albion panicked because of the amount of power that they got from Sephiroth while using divine dividing.

Normally when they use this ability it takes a while for them to reach full strength and all the excess power is filtered out through the wings making it look like sparkles coming from the wings while they are in use. The problem is that they only had to use it once and Vali was already at the max amount that he could hold in his body and there was a crazy amount of excess power flying out of his wings.

Everytime he used it, it used up his stamina and the stronger the power that he halves the more stamina that he uses. You can see the problem now here he is going to end up using a massive amount of stamina if he has to keep halving Sephiroth's power like this. Meaning that now Vali was on a time limit before he couldn't fight any longer putting a sense of urgency in him now.

Using his full power now Vali punched Sephiroth in the face sending him down to the ground and making him create a crater in the ground. Sephiroth got up immediately once he hit the ground, showing that he didn't take any damage with Vali being stronger now and Sephiroth being weaker now if only for a moment.

Sephiroth tired of the air battle, just motions for Vali to come down to him so that they can just settle it on the ground. Vali flew down toward Sephiroth with an axe kick aiming for Sephiroth's head.

Sephiroth boosting himself a couple more times and stepped back right at the last moment dodging the axe kick and when Vali was going to follow up with another kick with his other leg, Sephiroth responded by performing a back flip hitting his chin sending him back into the air again but he didn't stop there. While still in midair he sent a dragon shot to Vali causing an explosion in the air with Vali at the center of it.

Vali landed hard on the ground showing visible cracks on his armor from the power behind that dragon shot he just took from Sephiroth. He quickly started healing his armor again but it took a little longer this time showing he was slowly getting tired now.

Sephiroth used his boosters on his back and sped over to Vali ready unleash a combo on him with his fists, Vali seeing this started using his divine dividing to halve his power thus slowing him down but everytime he did Sephiroth would counter it by boosting himself.

Sephiroth launched a fist strike to Vali's c.h.e.s.t and Vali was able to time it so that he was able to side step the attack by using his divine dividing to slow Sephiroth down giving him the time needed to reposition himself. This continued for several more attacks where Sephiroth would attack and Vali would use divine dividing to affect his speed giving him the time to either block or dodge the attack.

Until Vali wasn't able to keep up with Sephiroth being able to keep using boost so often. Vali wasn't able to use divine dividing so frequently now and had to limit it if he wanted to keep fighting but that meant that now he was taking damage again. He was able to negate some of the damage when he blocked it or when he followed with the attack reducing some of it.

Sephiroth having enough of this little game they were playing decided that it was time to end this and when he sent his next punch he charged it with a powerful dragon shot giving Vali a point blank blast sending him back into the forest crashing into the trees there.

Sephiroth then draws his sword Zetsubo out and then you see where Vali is, a huge explosion of magical power explodes scattering all the trees that were around Vali.

"I'm taking this to the next level Sephiroth" Yelled Vali, angry that he hasn't been able to do anything to Sephiroth but take a beating the whole time. Steadily the magical power that Vali is releasing is greatly increasing and Sephiroth can picture what he is going to do next.

"I, who am about to awaken,

Am the Heavenly Dragon who has taken the principles of supremacy from God

I envy the "infinite" and I pursue the "dream"

I shall become the White Dragon of Supremacy

And I shall take you….."

It is right then that Sephiroth boosted himself even more and put that power into his sword and did a powerful sword slash that created a sword beam of the slash that he just did. It went at such speed that Vali didn't even see it coming at him because he was in the middle of his chant for juggernaut drive.

At first Vali couldn't understand why his chant stopped and didn't work. Then he felt a massive amount of pain go through his body on his left side, when he looked he noticed that his entire left arm was gone and spurting blood out of it at a rapid rate, still in shock at how he lost an entire arm he looked down he saw it just laying there.

Vali could have sworn he didn't even see Sephiroth launch an attack at him, but somehow he lost an arm. While trying to process what just happened to him he could hear Albion talking to him to get it together and stop the bleeding so he doesn't die. He also knew why it didn't work now he must have an intact body to use juggernaut drive and balance breaker so him missing his arm automatically canceled them both.

Just nodding his head to what Albion says he quickly creates a fire spell to cauterize the wound so he doesn't bleed to death. Then all he can hear in the distance is light footsteps coming toward him and he looks to see Sephiroth out of his balance breaker but now holding a massive sword that had a faint glow surrounding the blade.

Holding his wound to apply more pressure "Are you here to finish me now?" Vali states figuring that must be the reason that he came over here.

"What I have shown you is reality, the difference between us. What you will remember, that is the illusion of it all." Sephiroth said when he got closer to Vali.

Vali trying to process what Sephiroth said to him just stood there waiting to see what he was going to do to him, he knew that he wouldn't be able to escape and he was low on both stamina and magic power and he was already back in his human form at this point. So he closed his eyes to wait for his death.

But it never came and when he opened his eyes again all he saw were black feathers falling from the sky and he didn't see or sense Sephiroth anywhere nearby but noticed that at some point his arm was destroyed completely and nothing but a pile of ash there meaning that there was no way he was going to be able to reattach it now with Azazel's help.

Sighing to himself he just created a teleportation circle back to Grigori hoping that he can find Azazel to help him get a new arm somehow and wouldn't give him too much shit for losing it in the first place.

Back with Sephiroth who is flying back to Yasaka's home, "Partner why didn't you just kill him?" Ddraig was really curious why Sephiroth just didn't kill him. She knew he could have done it at any point that he wanted, especially in the beginning of the fight there was no need to really fight him at all.

"It's simple I said that I only took an arm and I did"

"I follow my word seriously Ddraig something that I thought you would have noticed when you saw my memories" Sephiroth said in a slightly disappointed tone that his partner didn't know that about him.

"I'm sorry partner, hope you can forgive" Ddraig said in a pleading tone, she didn't like that he was slightly disappointed in her and she wanted to fix it right away. Sephiroth just nodded his head signaling that he accepted her apology and increased his speed.
