Sephiroth World Traveler

After showing Kunou around town for the day and spending time with her he let her rest with Asia for the night and go to bed because he didn't want them around while he talked with Azazel the fallen angel faction leader. He didn't fear that Azazel was coming to his home because he knew that he was more powerful than him, meaning that he couldn't do anything to him so why bother the cloak and dagger approach. He would rather just come out in the open letting Azazel know where he can find him.

Sometime later into the night a knock was heard at the door, Sephiroth that was sitting on the sofa in the living room drinking some tea looked at the door and gestured for Raynare to go and get the door and let their guest in.

When Azazel saw who answered the door he was surprised for a moment because he didn't know that his subordinate Raynare would be the one to answer the door and got him thinking that maybe she had betrayed his organization.

"I'll have to deal with her later but for now let's meet this Sephiroth guy" thought Azazel while he was let in the house and led to the living room by Raynare to Sephiroth.

When Azazel saw Sephiroth for the first time, his survival instincts kicked in the ones that he got from all the fighting that he has done in his life. They told him that if he was to not provoke him in any way if he wanted to live.

Sephiroth gestures for Azazel to take a seat and he has Raynare get him a cup of tea and to stand to the side in case they need anything else. Then they go into a staring contest with each other with neither of them saying a word almost like the first one to say something will be at a disadvantage for their talk that is about to happen.

"Why is no one saying anything? Are they just going to stare at each other the whole time or something geez get on with it already I don't like standing here like a statue" Raynare thought to herself while keeping a small smile on her face trying to look happy.

"Alright well I'm sure you already know who I am so I'll skip my introduction, why did you want to meet me and also how did you become the red dragon emperor?" Azazel asked with clear curiosity in his voice

Putting down his tea cup "I made a deal with Ddraig and she chose me over the previous host."

"As for the reason that I wanted to meet you is that I heard that you study sacred gears and I have some questions that only you could answer." Sephiroth stated to Azazel not really bothering answering his first question and going straight to what he wants to know.

'He basically didn't tell me anything in how he got the booster gear for himself' thought Azazel to himself.

"And why should I tell you anything given what you did to my son? Azazel said while crossing his arms over his c.h.e.s.t looking to Sephiroth to see what he will do.

"I taught your son Vali a lesson for challenging me, be happy that it only cost him his arm. Others have lost their lives for doing less" Sephiroth said while releasing his magical power and targeting Azazel with it.

When Azazel felt this magical power he was shocked at the amount that Sephiroth was releasing, he was easily peak level ultimate class and just as soon as he felt it, it had disappeared like it had never happened.

Cold sweat was going down Azazel's back because of what just happened. He knew that he couldn't fight Sephiroth and come out ahead not without paying a severe price. If only his artificial sacred gear was ready he wouldn't have anything to fear.

"What if I say I have not one sacred gear but two different one's inside my body, would that interest you Azazel?" Sephiroth said in an even tone, acting like he didn't just threaten Azazel but not just a moment ago.

Composing himself for a couple seconds 'Damn it he is too strong for me alone, but what did he say about having not one but two sacred gears. Now this has made my scientist side curious and want to know how he can do that.' thought Azazel while trying to steady his rapidly beating heart from what he just experienced.

"Alright Sephiroth, I'm curious now in what you said and while I'm still somewhat angry for what you did for Vali. In the end you let him live and he came out stronger for it so I'll drop that matter." Sephiroth was now curious what Azazel meant when he said Vali came out stronger for it considering he just lost an arm but figured he found out later knowing that the battle junkie will be back.

"Can you explain more about what your other sacred gear is or does, don't forget to tell me what it is called either while you're at it" Azazel said, completely getting into his scientist mode now that they were talking about one of his interests.

"My other sacred gear is called Chaos cup and it lets me teleport me and anyone I want to any location that I have been to before or can get a clear picture of in my mind regardless of any barriers or restrictions that are in place."

"The thing that I want your help with is that I noticed that after I used it, it goes into a cooldown period for a while and a couple years or so until it is available again. I want to reduce this cooldown or get rid of it all together if it is possible and you're the right man for me to ask." Sephiroth explained to him but obviously he isn't going to tell him what it really does but a simplified version of it.

The Chaos cup can do those things so he wasn't really lying to Azazel just leaving out some of the finer details like it can make him go to different worlds altogether. He just needs to pique Azazel's interest enough that he will be dying to help him and if he knows scientists like he thinks he does he will take the bait.

When Azazel heard what this Chaos cup could do he was almost drooling thinking of how powerful this sacred gear was and how something like this has never been discovered before this is something that should be on the top ten of sacred gears if what Sephiroth is saying is true. You could sneak a large army anywhere as long as you had the strength necessary to pull it off, a game changer sacred gear in wartime were some of his first thoughts. He had to research this sacred gear, one's with space time powers that were incredibly rare. It was similar to Dimension Lost but different as well.

"I will help you Sephiroth, something like this I couldn't pass up. It might even help me with some of my other projects by learning how this sacred gear controls space like that. I even have an idea on how you can decrease the cooldown time that you have for when you use it." Azazel said with clear enthusiasm in his voice on the idea that he thought of.

"Oh, already have an idea. I"d like to hear what you have to say then Azazel?" Sephiroth said with some slight eagerness in his voice if you listened carefully.

"Well before I tell you my idea, I want you to agree to let me study your sacred gear sometime and keep the data on it. I will need that information for future uses, it won't be a problem will it?" Azazel asked with some slight pleading in his voice, he really wanted that data on the sacred gear.

Sephiroth nodded his head showing that he doesn't mind, "As long as your idea works then you are welcome to study my sacred gear a little bit." spoke Sephiroth to Azazel.

"Great, well my first idea would be why don't you see if your boosted gear can speed up your recovery time in between uses of your Chaos cup. You know that your boosted gear doubles your power for a set amount of time well why don't you try redirecting that powerup to your second sacred gear instead of your whole body. Just focus it on the chaos cup and see what happens to it, it might reduce your cooldown period."

"My second idea is that if you get stronger overall it might have an effect on your second saraced gear and reduce the cooldown as well but that is something that can't really be gauged as of right now so pay attention and see if you notice a difference in the future." Azazel explained to Sephiroth giving him a lot to think about now and to try out and see what happens later.

*Inside Sephiroth's head*

"Ddraig, would it be possible to boost the chaos cup in my body like Azazel said?" Sephiroth said inside his head, asking his partner if that was even possible.

"Honestly I don't know something this has never been done but it wouldn't hurt to try it out. The worst thing that could happen is that nothing happens at all, we will have to try it at another time though." She responded back to her partner curious as well if something like this can be done or not.

"I see well we will try it tonight then when Azazel leaves and if it works then we will inform him and let him get his data, I am a man of my word after all." Sephiroth said back.

*Back with Azazel*

"Interesting I will have to try that out and let you know if something happens or not. If the results are positive I will let you collect your data that you need."

"But try and do something to me, I can promise you that it would be the last thing that you ever do. Do I make myself clear Azazel?" Sephiroth said in a deep threatening voice to his guest tonight.

"I would never, I don't want to die yet. Think of all the ladies that would cry over my death" Azazel said feigning a heartbroken expression on his face and covering his heart with his hands like he is having a heart attack.

Sephiroth just rolled his eyes at this display, "Now Sephiroth about Raynare over there what's the deal with her? What is she to you?" questioned Azazel, curious the story behind her obvious betrayal of himself and Grigori.

"She is my servant, I spared her life meaning that now her life belongs to me nothing more than that" Sephiroth answered back, surprising Azazel that he had this weak little fallen angel as his servant given the power that he processes right now.

"I see well that's fine too I guess."

"Well it's getting late and my objectives were met by talking with you, next time we meet we will have to have a drink together. Don't forget to contact me if you have any other questions on sacred gears or need my help with anything Sephiroth" Azazel said while getting up and making his way to the entrance of the house to leave for the night.

"We will see about the drink Azazel but I will contact you in the future" Sephiroth said, not bothering to get up and see his guest out and just gestured for Raynare to do it for him. He just continued drinking the rest of his tea watching Azazel leave for the night.

Once Azazel had left finally, Raynare lost the smile that she had been keeping on her face the whole time and turned to her master making a pouting face to him that showed how she was truly feeling right now.

"God I hate faking a smile like that for so long lord Sephiroth" complained Raynare to her master trying to get some pity points.

"You did well Raynare, good job" Sephiroth spoke to her making a small blush appear on her face by her lord's complement.

Sephiroth then bid Raynare good night and made his way to his room to test out what he was told earlier and see if there were any positive results.
