Chapter 6: Me and Setsuna

Kyle's PoV

As the guy look quietly at the blue moon, I feel the same pain. There were already a lot of times that I also think the same thing. 'I wish the moon was yellow.'

Ever since I heard the 69th hero has been summoned. My ego overflow to me, that the guy was most likely from the same country as I did.

Since my clan I've always been protected is been died out, there's no point living anymore.

But before I decide to die, Setsuna appeared.

As I sneak out of his room and observe him, apparently me and other heroes were have different treatment from him. Nice clothes, good rooms, delicious foood were normal to us, but this is guy not healthy no matter how you look at him.

As a general example of hero that should be summon here are, should be both mentally and physically healthy to some point, but it was hard for me to say this guy is qualified.

I didn't observe this guy out of curiosity, I want to do the same thing as Granpa Hanai did to me.

"You're a hero aren't you?" When I called out to him, the guy turned his gaze towards me with an unexpectedly calm expression.

Normally, it would be surprising to hear a voice from a place where there is no sign of it, but... I understood why the man wasn't surprised when I looked him in the eye.

He don't want to die alone, means he wanted to live with someone and die purely, like camellia.

With wry smile in my face. It wasn't the answer I asked him to.

Talking about myself, Granpa Hanai, and other heroes. Setsuna began to cry. The reason of those tears hurt me.

The loneliness he had. Loneliness with no one you can rely to.

Realizing this, I cannot abandon him anymore.

Setsuna is a guy who's in the same country as I did but it feels like he was my friend from 1000 years ago. Maybe because I read his memories.

I don't know what his personalities was like but I began to think I could hang out with this guy.

But rather than friend, it's more like he was younger brother to me.

Setsuna also think I'm also his friend, but I guess I'm his first friend. If that's the case, it would be really hard to persuade him.

So I decided to understand him my will. Before his mind change.
