After Data.38 Uncle Bow, to the sky

"Let's fly!"

Even so, I can't call Skyship in places with many buildings around me.

Navigate to the killing spot on the outskirts of town and then reopen the status screen.

Summon Skyship!

A huge magic cube that unfolds simultaneously with the signal.

On top of that, particles of light dance, gather, and solidify to build a giant ship.

It took less than five seconds to complete.

"When it gets bigger and bigger... it's a design that doesn't seem to be my boat anymore!"

The noble ship Artemis with almost all the parts Royal!

The aura overwhelms you, but don't look like a spectator.

Again, this is my ship...!

As I climbed up the tarap and boarded the deck, I quickly grabbed the steering wheel.

Skyship maneuvers are more complicated than regular ships.

In addition to acceleration and deceleration, rudder and steering, ascending and descending operations must also be carried out.

For this reason, steering wheels like those provided on old sailboats are very difficult to move.

So how do we move it?

The easiest part is speech recognition.

If you say so, the ship will move.

However, if you want to adjust the speed in detail when proceeding at the maximum ship speed, it is quite difficult to convey the subtle increase or decrease with just a voice.

I'm also pretty busy putting the details of the ship's movements to good use during the battle.

In such a case, in addition to the steering wheel, there is also a method of mounting the side lever and foot pedal, and adjusting the acceleration by operating the lift/lowering with the lever and the pedal stepping condition...

However, after all, the difficult part of the battle has not been solved.

That's where the last resort comes in... "Steering Robot".

As the name suggests, this is a robot who can steer the ship on its own. He can simply tell us where to go and where to go and then move the ship on his own.

When you enter a fight, you take evasive and offensive actions at your own discretion, allowing the player to concentrate on the fight without thinking.

But I'm not putting a steering robot on the ship.

Because whatever robots were available in the store... they were filled with pointy feelings from the design, and there were texts that made the description worrisome.

For example, if something is written like a charm point, I don't feel like putting it on a boulder, such as "if you are surprised, you will move something appropriately," "sometimes you mistake acceleration and deceleration," or something you should never do when piloting a vehicle in real life.

Perhaps, unlike Skyship itself, steering robots do not perform satisfactorily in stores.

I feel like I can't be a trusted steerer unless I update them little by little with Quest Completions and drops from special monsters like Gear...

That's why I didn't rely on a steering robot this time.

Of course, for the first time or so, I wanted to see my ship moving by my own hand.

"The Artemis... has begun ascending!"

The hull floats and rises to the sky.

... it's going up faster than I thought.

The hideout of wind clouds under your eyes is getting smaller and smaller.

Slow down a bit!

The ascending speed is slowed by one instruction.

Yes, it's the first time I've seen anything, so it's better to look at it slowly.

I love the view.

"Warp, watch!"

My body warped to the sentry platform on top of the balloon.

Structurally, the balloon becomes an obstacle from the deck and cannot be seen directly above.

In other words, if you don't leave someone on this watch, you'll be completely unprotected against attacks from above.

Ideally, I myself would like to sit on a sentry platform and shoot my enemies with long-range arrows, but unfortunately, the steering wheel cannot be performed unless I hold it, including speech recognition.

However, simple steering such as lifting and acceleration can be continued even if the steering wheel is away.

Actually, I don't have a steering wheel right now, but the ship keeps going up slowly.

"It's time to get into Skymap...!"

A circle of golden clouds appeared directly above the ship.

Cross this circle to enter the newly implemented Sky Map!

The ship kept going up slowly to tease it... but I slowed it down.

And for now, the Artemis has circled the Golden Cloud and entered Skymap!

"Is this... the cloud sea!?"

Lots of clouds that didn't exist in the ordinary sky we were flying to!

It's spreading like the ocean!

And above the cloud sea, you can see islands floating in the sky!

Plus, other players' skyships...!

"It feels like a way to heaven...!"

Stop the ship and return to deck from the sentinel platform on top of the balloon.

And looking directly under the ship, there was still a ring of gold left.

I'm glad we can get back to the original map from here.

In other words, it is important to confirm the exit route.

Especially if it's the first place, and it's just been implemented, its importance increases.

Oh, my God, I don't know how many enemies are coming out...

If you need me, I'll run to avoid losing my Artemis!

This is another courage, a battle...!

Nevertheless, there are no enemies around so far.

The other players' ships are also quite far away, so I have to practice steering for a while....

"... can't it be?"

Arm your weapon and gaze at the clouds.

What appeared was a huge tall flaw that I thought could be cut as it was if it were a low-altitude flight skyship.

This shape... well, it must be a shark...

Raise the ship to avoid fighting, but thankfully, there is one enemy.

The most important battle practice to defend this Skyship... let's try it on him!

"All battle stations! Garbo is warping on the Balloon Watch!"

"Gah! Gah!"

Of course, the Unison you're bringing can also be boarded.

This time it's a new map that I don't know what's going to happen, so I'm picking a Gurboy who has a high overall combat capability and putting him on board.

"I... intercept with arrows!"

All of them are just themselves and Garbo, and you can only intercept them with arrows in the first place, so it makes sense to declare it... it's a wilderness.

This Skyship is armed, so it can be called a Battleship.

Well then, I'd like to give it a bit of an atmosphere... huh?

"Attack! Target is a shark from the Cloud Sea!"
