"I cannot make a mistake while that country's delegate coming here," said Eric with an irritated tone.

"Oh, it seems my fiancé is jealous," said Irene, get close to him and gave him a quick kiss. "My, do not worry. I know they wanted me to marry to their general, but we both know that it's impossible now," said Irene with a sweet voice. "Now, if you excuse me. I have to switch my queen mode," said Irene.

Yes, Irene and Eric had engaged. If you are a queen, you cannot have a boyfriend. You have to keep your pose, and set an example for your people. That's why politics cannot let Queens have a boyfriend. They have to marry or engaged for the country's sake. That's what happened when the whole country learned their beloved queen interested in a boy thanks to the Sebas and dragons who heard the conversation in the throne room. Yet that was rather interesting. It seems there was no man impressed her that way so far. The poor council tried to reject the engagement by saying that 'Our Queen cannot marry a commoner with no background!' but they shut down after Belserion personally had a 'little speech' with them.

"Yes, your highness," said Eric while bowing, and went to his special position as a Queen's 'personal' magic knight where is next to the throne itself. While they are chatting with a formal speech, other court knights also come to the throne room. After everyone went to their positions, Queen Irene ordered Sebas.

"Sebas, they may come," she said with a stern expression.

"As you wish, your highness," then he went to get delegates of Dermatros Kingdom.

After five minutes of waiting they have come.

"Your Highness, our king wants to speak to terms of a possible alliance. May we proceed?" Said the fat man. He was a bald man with black eyes and around 1.70(5,7 inc) cm. Also, he seemed to look Irene with l.u.s.tful eyes which noticed by Irene let alone Eric who narrowed his eyes.

"Ferkas, Our kingdoms are cooperating for decades so I can tolerate if you speak before me for once," said Irene with a stern and cold voice. "Yet, if you look at me with those disgusting eyes again, I will be sure there is no child of you will be born ever again, am I understood?" she said while pressuring the entire room with her magic.

"Y-yes, your highness," said Ferkas began sweating. 'This little girl growing way too fast. We have to stop her somehow.' he thought.

"Now, what did you come for... again?" she said with a frown.

"Your highness, our king wants an alliance with your kingdom," he said as she brought a scroll an opened it.

"Our Highness IV. Alex Gon Clay wants an alliance for both of our countries' sake. To accomplish to do that we are asking for a political marriage with Sir Eric and our Princess Meldonia," said Ferkas with a loud voice.

'What? I've engaged f.u.c.kers,' when he was about the release of his magic power. A sudden familiar wave of energy hit him, and he flew towards the wall alongside with other knights.

"YOU HAVE COURAGE, I GIVE YOU THAT," she hissed. "YOU'VE COME TO MY KINGDOM, EAT MY FOOD, USE MY SERVANTS, DID NOT RESPECT ME, LOOK AT MY BODY WITH THOSE DISGUSTING EYES, AND NOW YOU WANT MY FIANCE?" she then got control of her power and focused on the emissary. "YOU REALLY THOUGHT, I WILL LET YOU DO AS YOUR FOOLISH KING WANT TO BE?"

Then the pressure was all over the whole room. Breathing started to get harder the ones with little powers or the ones with no magic powers.

"Y-your highness, we did not believe you were engaged to the knight with no background, we thought it was a rumor," said Ferkas with a husky voice.

"SILENCE!" she yelled. "YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SPEAK BEFORE ME!" she hissed again. "FIRST, YOU WANTED ME TO MARRY THAT IDIOT GENERAL OF YOURS BEFORE. NOW, WHEN I ENGAGED, YOU WANT TO MARRY MY HUSBAND-TO-BE WITH YOUR PRINCESS?" she said again. "IT SEEMS AFTER MY FATHER'S DEATH, SOME PEOPLE THINKS THAT DRAGNOF'S NEW QUEEN WOULD BE A LITTLE GIRL WITH NO POWERS, IS IT? YOU THINK THAT? SO BE IT! I WILL LET YOU KNOW WHAT THIS QUEEN CAPABLE OF!" she yelled again. "BELSERION!" she yelled to the dragon.

As she yelled a gigantic, quadrupedal dragon came from the door. "Yes, your highness," he said.

"GUIDE OUR GUEST OUT! AH, WHAT I MEANT WHEN I SAID OUT, I MEANT OUT OF THE KINGDOM!" she yelled. After they have gone from the room she ordered sternly, "All the knights may dismiss."

All knights but Eric gone, and she looked at him "Are you not a knight?" she said with a frown.

"I am a personal magical knight, you have to be more specific," he said with a smile.

"I'm no mood for jokes, Eric," she said sternly.

"Me neither, but what will you do if I let you alone only God knows," he said then he went in front of her and crouched. Took her hand with his two hands and speak, "Come on, look at me. I'm here and I will not go anywhere. I promise you that," he said sweetly as he c.a.r.e.s.sing her hand.

She looked at his eyes directly. Her eyes are watery and red. "I just, there is a lot of things going on. Dragons of the Western side starting to out of control slowly. In the future, there is going to be a big war between Dragons and Humans. Hah, I'm telling humans but we cannot really fight against the dragons. We've not enough power," she said sorrowfully. "And, god as if this was not enough other countries became more greedy," she said with a frown. "A lot of them want to marry me to gain right for this kingdom, and a lot of them also want to marry me just because of my look," she continued with a cold voice. "I can tolerate these, but when they wanted you; I couldn't control my anger any longer," she said.

"There is going to be a war probably. They also have dragons, and trust me it's going to be bloody," she said with an apologetic look. "All of this, just because I couldn't control my anger. What a pathetic queen I am," she said and started sobbing.

When Eric saw Irene sobs he hugged her and said "It's okay. Everyone can make mistakes, especially we humans. What's the meaning of life if we were perfect?" he said and continued, "You also know they will start the war nonetheless and all they want is Dragnof," he concluded. "So let them start the war," he said. "the war they want, the war they receive," he stated with a serious voice. "And with that, I will show the world; I, Eric is worthy of the Queen of Dragnof Irene Dragnof. I will show them I got my rank not just because we love each other, there is no one stronger than me in this kingdom for this role."

"My, aren't you a little overconfident," she said with watery eyes, and she hugged him back. Set her head on his shoulders and said "This is a hard way, are you sure?" she asked carefully.

Eric cleared the tears on her eyes and kiss her forehead then said, "I'm sure. I'll be off for the training. When they came here, these mongrels got their rights."

'Mongrels?' thought Irene, but not put too much thought on it. They just hugged each other for a while.

The little Dermatros Kingdom know, they awakened their calamity.
