Alex sat in his seat, leaning against his chair, within the ICT classroom. With his sloppy eyes stuck fixated on his phone. He shook his head slightly disappointed. "It's been quite a while since I've last logged on Royalroad. So many of my favourite novels have either been dropped or have been long hiatuses... it's a pity."

He said to himself, as his eyes drifted away from the phone, and landed on the ceiling.

'Things sure has changed a lot since I was in year 7, and now I am an upperclassman, attending my final year of high school.' Alex thought to himself.

He took a long sigh. He soon began to reminisce on the past. It has been five long years since he first entered high school as a junior in year 7. Now he is 16 years old, and is in his final year, at year 11.

His greasy mid-length black hair covered his eyes, but when he tilted his head to look up at the ceiling, it revealed his amber-brown coloured eyes.

Alex smiled helplessly, knowing the obvious fact that he will miss this sort of peaceful life when he finished high school, he would eventually move on with his life.

Just as he was lazing around, his phone began to ring, playing the Bleach 12th hit anime opening change. It caught him off-guard, as the J-pop music is put on full blast, for the surrounding people to hear.

Alex then looks around embarrassingly, as the surrounding people glare intently in his direction. "I'm sorry for the disruption. I apologized..."

He said so embarrassingly, as his cheeks start to turn slightly red, in embarrassment.

"If you wished to answer your phone. Please leave the classroom. If this were an actual lesson period, instead of lunchtime. I would have actually confiscated your phone, for this class disruption, do you understand." Mr Davies said so with a stern look on his face. However, he wasn't actually being serious, it was just him joking around, and his face was soon replaced with a smile.

"I understand, Mr Davies. I will turn my phone off when its time for class, after lunch ends at 1:00 PM." Alex said so apologetically, as he picked up his phone, and was about to head straight for the door.

Unexpectedly, one of the students, that was on the computer. A tall black student, with a short afro, his name was Peter.

He was playing Super Smash Flash Bros on his computer, with a friend, sharing the keyboard between the two. Peter immediately recognises the ring tone and the music that was playing. He paused the game for a sec, and then spun his wheelchair around, facing the direction of the leaving Alex.

"That was one of the openings of Bleach, right. My boy, Alex watches Bleach as well." Peter said so energetically while placing his thumbs as if insinuating that he has good taste in music.

Trequan, the boy who Peter was playing Super Flash Smash Bros with. He was extremely gigantic, even bigger than a full-grown a.d.u.l.t. He was big, fat and chubby, nevertheless, he was still the captain of the year 11 high school basketball team.

Trequan smiles, and he gives his nod of approval. Unlike Peter who is energetic and expressive of his passion for anime. Trequan is extremely laid back, and doesn't quite often participle in anime discussions, subjects on whether which anime character is stronger or who can we in a battle between who.

"Yeah. I will be going now." Alex said so showcasing a happy face,  he as finds out another fan who likes Bleach like him.

He waved back at the duo, before leaving the ICT classroom, to mind his own business.

Alex slides his thumb across the answer button, as the green circular dot slid across the phone screen. On the phone, there was a line of white text, indicating the name of the caller, their caller ID and phone number.

It was 'Johnny' all in big white texts, as Alex then answered his phone. "What's up, John? Why are you calling me, when you could just head up to the second floor, and enter the classroom. I'm sure Mr Davies won't mind." Alex said so in a rush, not having forgotten the embarrassment, he's been through a few seconds ago.

However, the response he's got was quite no what he had expected, when he heard John crying. "Waaagh! Alex...Humph. Humph." John was crying by himself and is alone by himself in the restroom.

'What the f.u.c.k is going on? Why is he crying?' It was Alex's initial thought, as he wonders what is going on with John, and why he is crying.

"John, are you there? Stay calm, and tell me why you are crying. Did someone hurt you? Were you bullied?" Alex asked raising some concerns, as he was worried for his friend's wellbeing.

"Alex... *Hiccup* My girlfriend broke up with me," John said so cryingly as he made the big reveal, and that's it.

"And that's it. Your crying over just because of your girlfriend breaking up with you. It sounds like you were at someone's own funeral, crying over the loss of someone dearly... Crybaby!", Alex said so growing slightly annoyed, as he was expecting something more serious.

Alex tried to calm his head down, as with his left hand, he massaged his temple to calm himself down before he says something more outright hurtful to John's feelings.

"But Alex. The girl that I have been dating for a couple of years, and has forged a close bond and relationship with me, just suddenly broke up with me. Don't you know how that must have felt after you spend so much time to know it all end up meaningless." He said so while breaking down into tears, having become too emotional to talk.

Alex coldly responded without an ounce of mercy. Not giving John a chance to retaunt back. "No, I wouldn't have understood, what you normies would have meant, since I've dated anyone. Anyways when a guy breaks up with a girl, it's normally the girl who ends up crying, and not the other way around... You're overreacting, it's only just one girl. It's not a big deal. So get over it." Alex words were harsh, nevertheless, it was the cold hard undeniable truth.

"But Alex, she has been with me for years. It was strange she suddenly..." John tried to talk back, but Alex immediately shut him down.

"No, buts. Just forget about her. If she chooses to dump you for someone else or better. It just means that she isn't fit for you, do you understand. There are plenty more fishes in the sea. So there are plenty of girls who like you for the way you are. Do you understand, John?" Alex berated John leaving him with no chance to talk back.

However, John was not angry about it at all, as he is quite happy to have a friend who is quite worried and shows care for his wellbeing. John immediately gave in, as he understands Alex's nature the best. If he doesn't let it go, he wouldn't hear the last of it from him, or the others when they heard it from him.

"Alex...*Sigh*, " John called out his name but failed to finish off his sentence, as he sighs in his defeat.

Alex has grown a bit hot-headed over the situation, has finally begun to calm down, as he took a breather. "So where are you now? Are you still on the school premise?" He asked with a calm reassuring voice.

"I'm inside the boy's restroom on the ground floor. It's near the stairs that lead to the second floor where you are currently at." John said so, as he wipes his tears away, with his own sleeves.

"I'm on it. I will be on my way. It won't take me long to get there." Alex said as he hung up on the phone on John.

Alex sighs, as he sieves through his greasy hair with his fingers, looking up at the empty corridor ceiling. "Stupid John. It's only a girl. So there is no need to get so worked up about it." Alex said so to himself, as he walks towards the stairs, that is leading down to the ground floor.

What is done is done? John finally let it out of his system, though he won't be able to date another girl, for some time, until he can become emotionally stable to stand on his own two feet.

Alex walked out of the second-floor corridors, as he stepped onto the L shaped stairs that go down and up, forming a full square-shaped formation.

Alex took his time, walking down the stairs, as he stares out the window at the sky.

'What the heck is that? Am I seeing things? Am I hallucinating...' Alex asked himself a question, questioning what he is seeing.

It started out as little grey dots in the sky. Then it naturally began to grow bigger, congregating together, to form a large grey cloud. The way it moves, and jiggles on about, made it seems more unnatural, almost like it has a mind of its own.

It's almost like a swarm of bees, as Alex watches it even more closely, clearly fascinated by it all.
