Sword Sovereign

"Haha" Zack chuckled wickedly on seeing Ethan miss his sword and target one of the illusion light he created, and with this Ethan's body was unguarded putting him in great danger.

The distance between Zack's sword and Ethan's body began to close.

Eight centimeters.

Seven centimetres.

Five centimetres.....

And it was then that Ethan suddenly drew back his arm which he sent forward and threw his other arm which had been idle all along towards the incoming attack like a lightning bolt.

Zack was badly shocked on seeing this but he could do nothing about it, stopping his attack was no longer possible!

"Hmmph, it seems this lad is able to see my attack, nevertheless i don't think he would be able to counter it without seriously injuring himself since he is too haughty to think he can block this attack which is under the influence of my band just like he did in the previous clashes!"

With this thoughts Zack immersed his sword in more light which gave it a more bizarre feeling. Ethan shaped his finger into a sword with a pure ray of ring power enshrouding it like the previous one.

A finger covered in ring power versus a sword fueled by a weapon band which of them would become victorious.

BOOM!

The finger and the sword collided resulting to a deafening noise that rumbled through their surroundings, the force from the collision put the wind in a turbulent situation that circled and raised dust into the air concealing both Ethan and Zack.

It only took few breaths before everything came back to normality revealing the outcome of the battle.

The two warriors stood firm and motionless as though time had paused, their eyes fixed on each other like participants in a staring competition.

Ethan's face which had been emotionless suddenly curved into a huge smile, like as though it was a catalyst that carried with it a negative light Zack's face abruptly became pale and void of blood, he involuntarily took several steps back with him spitting out a mouthful of blood with each step he took.

It was then that Doji, Ravu and the sad looking Alex who was trying all his best to repair his spiritual paths noticed the cracks on Zack's sword which spread like veins.

Ethan's finger was bleeding profusely with a huge chunk of flesh chopped off, but compared to the damage he dealt to Zack even losing a finger was worth it!

What was the consequences of damaging ones weapon?!

The effect it had on the future of a warrior?!

This questions could only be answered in one word..

Who ever made the mistake of breaking his weapon should kiss cultivation goodbye, it was more or less like destroying one's dantian!

Then, how in the world do a middle stage series warrior posses such power to damage a weapon of such caliber?!

Ethan in reality didn't posses such power or strength but something else controlled such might!

Ethan's ring power couldn't be considered as normal anymore, as it had merged with his sword aura transforming it from its usual gentle form to a raging storm!

Clashing with his fingers that was enshrouded with his sovereign's sword aura had sent into the sword a colossal amount of that strange energy which penetrated their bodies, the result wasn't new any longer.

Like a flash Ethan appeared before the retreating Zack, he didn't send a slap this time but rather his fist which carried with it a dangerous force, his fist flew towards Zack c.h.e.s.t Ethan appeared to not want to waste time any longer, he wanted to end the whole thing fast!

"Please don't kill me, if you don't I promise to tell the secret behind the outlandish things happening in this forest"

On hearing this Ethan raised his eyebrows but still didn't stop the punch, but he had noticeably reduced the strength behind the attack.

Ethan's fist landed on Zack's c.h.e.s.t and he could feel that he had broken at least two of the man's ribcage aside from the mysterious energy that penetrated his c.h.e.s.t.

"Cough!" Zack who had been sent sliding on the ground by the fist spat out blood severally with a grateful light in his eyes, he knew well enough that Ethan had just spared his live.

"Tell me what you know" Ethan demanded with a neutral expression on his face.

It was then that Alex who was some few metres away from Ethan, noticing that Zack was going to spill the beans picked his spear which had been flung along with him and stealthily sped towards Ethan who had his back against him, Doji and Ravu had failed to notice because they were all focused on Zack, they were curious to know what the hell was going on in the forest.

Doji suddenly felt uncomfortable and decided to scan his surrounding it was then he noticed Alex "No!"

Alex chuckled, it was already too late for any external help, he put more force in his hands has he descended from the air with his spear pointed directly at the back of Ethan's head.

Alex was so confident that he would be able to kill Ethan with how close he was and how unprepared Ethan was, it was a sure kill.

The spear was now very close to Ethan's head that in less than a breath he would have a spear stuck to his head.

It was at this moment that Ethan suddenly disappeared from Alex's vision, before he could even show any sign of fear a smooth palm clamped unto his neck but was rather too small to cover his whole neck but it was still able to make him feel death coming, he was still in mid air and had yet to land.

BOOM!

Ethan slammed Alex into the ground from the air like Big Show delivering a choke slam, he held his legs and spined him around before flinging him into the air.

"Haha" Alex screamed in air waving his hands frantically trying to stop his fall.

On seeing that he was few metres away from the ground Ethan leaped into air high above Alex descending body, he sent his twin fist down like an hammer slamming it into Alex's body.

Boom!

With an increased speed Alex landed on the ground, before he could even move a finger Ethan had appeared beside him and took hold of his legs flinging him once again.

Boom!

The flinging and slamming continued for a long while until Alex showed no longer any form of resistance.

He was dead!
