'Huh?'

Zayn stared at the Innkeeper, whose eyes were overflowing with urgency, and it was only when the Innkeeper's wife stepped forward that Zayn got back to his senses.

"If you don't leave now, others will notice that you are still here. None of the guests will be able to escape punishment if the authorities cannot pinpoint the one who delivered the final blow that killed them…even if you were just watching, you would be an accomplice for murder, and your future would be ruined! So leave and don't return here for the next few days…at best leave the town forever…" The owner's wife said frantically before giving him a light push to make him leave. He had to understand how urgent it was for him to leave, right now.

Looking over to the Innkeeper, Zayn couldn't help but feel a little sorry for him. After all, it was his doing that caused all the trouble.

He was actually the killer of the Blessed, yet it looked like everyone would be considered an accomplice to the murder.

'I mean…the drunkards were actually accomplices. It's not like Phillip and his people would have survived the aftermath of the bar fight, either way…it's unlikely, at least…' Zayn tried to tell himself as he stumbled outside the Adventurer Inn.

The Innkeeper, his wife, and the staff members saw the swaying figure of Zayn leaving the Inn and they couldn't help but feel sympathy and pity for him.

"Poor young man…he had to witness something like this at such an early age…I hope that he can overcome it…" The Innkeeper mumbled just for his wife to give him a slap on the back of his head.

"He will be fine! Shouldn't you be more concerned about our situation?"

"Our situation? It's just a few nameless Blessed who died, nothing too serious. We can just move to another town and rebuild the Inn and our business there…or if you're done playing around, we can return to the Silverheart Legion…" The Innkeeper said in an eerily calm voice.

There was no shock visible on his face anymore but his wife didn't seem to feel the same.

"You want to return already? We didn't even have much of a break during the last few years…is it really necessary?" She asked, not bothering about the dead bodies of the Blessed lying on the ground anymore either.

Meanwhile, Sarah looked over to the married couple, shaking her head lightly. She didn't seem intimidated by the bloody bar fight and it seemed almost as if her entire personality had changed. Her bubbly attitude and warm smile had been replaced by a cold gaze.

"Commander…Vice Commander…can't we return already? We played around long enough, didn't we?" She asked with a deep sigh before she pointed at her right foot, "Furthermore, I believe your senses have gone rusty…even if you two don't want to expose your strength, you should be able to sense that this Normie caused the whole incident and that he killed Phillip Cerk and two more members of his group, including that horny asshole Jens…"

If Zayn were to hear what the server, Sarah, had just said, his eyes would probably fall out of its sockets. He was certain that nobody saw or sensed his Sparrow Spirit, let alone the small attack he issued.

At the same time, it should be near-impossible for anyone to have seen how he threw the fire needles at Jens, Phillip and the other Blessed.

Too many drunk Blessed were in the way for Sarah to have seen it either!

However, it was a fact that Sarah actually pinpointed Zayn as the culprit while maintaining an extremely relaxed expression. In fact, it looked almost as if Sarah was enjoying the current situation.

"What are you talking about? Zayn is not a…Normie…or is he?!" The Innkeeper almost screeched, just to recall that he had never seen Zayn's Stigma. The young man always covered his entire body from head to toe.

He removed his mask only after sitting down at the counter before he put it on the moment he got up.

"Even if he is a Normie, I sensed his strength…There is nothing much to say. You saw him earlier as well. Just by taking a look at the corpses he was shivering like a frail leaf in the midst of a tornado!"

This time it was the Innkeeper's wife who said something to respond to Sarah's words. She didn't want to believe that someone like Zayn was capable of killing not one but three Blessed.

After exposing bits of her strength, she could tell how Jens, Phillip, and the other Blessed were killed as well. Zayn shouldn't have been able to do that, considering that he looked so weak and shocked when he arrived at the counter.

"Vice-Commander…you didn't feel that Zayn intentionally rushed into the counter to initiate the Soulwishes? He only got two out of three Soulwishes, whether it was through luck or a special trait that allows him to sense the Soulwishes, but he looked so weak and ghastly pale because of the sudden flood of soul particles entering his body, not because he was shocked!" Sarah informed, giving the Vice-Commander a little judgemental look.

"Maybe we got a little rusty during the last few years…" The Innkeeper's wife mumbled, her expression turning sour as she acknowledged the bitter truth. "Maybe it is about time to return."

However, the Innkeeper was having none of it. He understood what Sarah said but it didn't really make any sense to him.

"Then tell me…why would Zayn kill Phillip and Jens? And…why did you allow him to turn into his chess piece? You would never allow that…" He asked in a sharp tone while trying to cover his confusion neatly.

Sarah just looked at her Commander and smiled lightly.

"The Cerk family is the origin of the Undead Cave mystery, which was probably why Zayn thought that it was necessary to end them before things would get worse. However, he is too weak to do it by himself. Thus, he chose to eliminate them when they had let their guards down when they and everyone else were drunk," Sarah analyzed what had taken Zayn days to figure out and a lot of planning.

It showed clearly that Sarah was not an ordinary server of an Inn but was just a cover-up to her original identity!

"As for my reason to use me for his plan…I was curious to know how he would actually do it, and I wanted my two most beloved bosses to get back to their senses!" She added with a sneaky smile that caused both the Innkeeper and his wife to frown deeply.

Yet, despite frowning, they started to realize that they had been oblivious to the truth. They didn't even know what the Cerk family had done to the Goblin Caves. They knew about the Undead Caves due to the gossip they heard on a daily basis but they hadn't bothered to find out more about it.

Sarah had quietly worked on her research but had told no one about it. After all, they had become too lax and uninterested in the happenings in their surroundings.

"Maybe it is about time to return."
