It was very successful as a first battle. It’s fine that there is no retired driard.

I was proud of Daisy’s clothes which were full of burnt stains still I felt pity. Can I get her a new one? I was touching Daisy’s clothes which have been burnt a lot and Daisy said “Wow! It burnt a lot” made me feel like wanting to buy her something.

Elder’s healing can’t repair clothes. I just came out of the village so it’s awkward to go back… I can’t go back to the village every time when clothes are burnt.

“Jay, Does Daisy’s clothes bother you?”

Mesquite moved my hand from touching Daisy’s clothes. She put her big hand on top of my hand and gave a more grave face than the one I make while looking at Daisy’s clothes. There was full of crescent-shaped fingermark made by my fingernails due to anxiousness.

“You already healed the wound, why do I need to use the potion?”

“Weren’t you upset that Daisy’s clothes were damaged?”

My knowledge as a basic RPG player and Elder’s real game knowledge conflicted.

It felt like when I was in elementary school, I learned that 0 is the smallest number and when I enter middle school, there could be minus values.

Mesquite gave a kind explanation while smiling as if she felt pity towards my shallow game knowledge.

“Humans call these potions but we driards call it a sap. To be exact, it’s a tree’s sap.”

Daisy looked at the potion bottle with curiosity and opened the lid. Then, what happened next was something I never predicted.

When the lid was opened, the liquid evaporated and surrounded Daisy’s body. It looked like Daisy was surrounded by a white fog. Then, the smoke quickly erased the traits of the battle on Daisy.

“Wow… it’s really amazing.”

“Jay, do you feel relieved now?”

“This way is better! I still have 47 potions from the draw.”

“Wonderful!”

I was shouting with excitement and Daisy joined me. Elder ticked his tongue and said I would be the only druid to use potion with such a wound.

Wasting! In my standard, I’m not overusing it! I would feel like trying once more to see the liquid evaporating but I didn’t for the future battle. If someone sells potion, I would buy from them later.

When Elder’s cure is over, Mesquite looked again at my hand. Daisy is short so she couldn’t see what’s happening above so she tried to look up by opening her eyes wide open.

“Are you hurt?”

“No, it’s fine. It’s really okay.”

Elder already showed cured hands and made Daisy relieved. You came back after going inside the flame, my hand is way less damaged as I only bite my fingernails.

All of sudden, Mesquite let my hand go and raised Daisy. Normally, Daisy would hang on to Mesquite’s waist but surprisingly Daisy stopped in the middle.

Daisy put a sword into a stem and dug deep into the ground to hold herself. Daisy was overcoming sudden hardship like a ship that is tied to a port. However, it wasn’t root’s power so it was somewhat cheating.

Mesquite gave a surprised look and gave a good laugh. She complimented Daisy’s agile movement. However, when Mesquite put force; Daisy’s sword popped out from the ground.

Even if Daisy tried to put her roots… She still can’t stand Mesquite’s power…

I was looking for a new thing to hunt after the excitement from the first battle. As fire always aims for terrarium, I could encounter the fire soon without going far away. In other words, I’m a real rookie in hunting.

Daisy who experienced the first battle was not reluctant. She immediately used techniques like wind cutter that shatters read leaves at the end of the first battle. It’s like before the monster recognizes it, Daisy would make a counterattack.

The fire became small as it has been destroyed and Daisy’s attack made it even smaller.

Based on Daisy’s battle, she seemed like she is specialized in 1 on 1 battle.

She may seem not sufficient for dealing with multiples of monsters but she was great with raid monsters. She would focus every hit and give critical damage.

Daisy’s attack which was confident was massive that it seemed like the fire would go off from the wind made by swinging the sword.

Mesquite saw another fire approaching from afar and said fire brings fire.

Daisy had to hit many times to remove the fire but Mesquite cut the fire by smashing once with a lance. Daisy looked at Mesquite with respect. Afterward, Daisy’s attack range became more accurate.

As Daisy sensed how to battle, she had significantly less damage and Elder became more relaxed.

By the way, he also has some attack moves. Moving the wooden stick and I hit the staff to give a hint.

In the game, healers sometimes would give damage. Abnormal party has better statistics with healers. In such a case, users bully at the game forum.

“I attack by using the tree so it doesn’t work with fire.”

Elder spoke in an unsatisfied voice as if he understood my expectation. If he attacks, it’s making fire stronger.

That means I leveled up and Daisy’s limit has surpassed. I didn’t know I leveled up as there was no system message popping up or having shiny effects.

In between, I felt something pleasant and my body felt lighter. Does that mean I leveled up?

“Mesquite, perhaps do I look different?”

Mesquite said it with a joking laugh made me blush. Gosh… My heart was racing and I was holding my chest.
