Rex smiled warmly, glancing between Scarlett and Xander. "I'm glad to hear that. You two deserve all the happiness in the world. Ah, let's sit, afraid my little sister will be exhausted." 

Scarlett was speechless. She prays her brother, Rex, will not treat her like Xander treats her — he treats her like she is a fragile crystal. Gosh!

As they settled on the couch, Xander glanced between Rex and Theodor, causing a frown to appear on his face. Curiosity made him unable to help but asked, "Are you guys already familiar with each other?" He had no idea that these two men shared a connection.
