Albrecht woke up the next morning when the sun was already up. He saw the woman sleeping soundly next to him. Since he was at an age when his libido was high, they did it many times. He inexplicably felt sorry.

Albrecht got up and opened the window. The morning sun shone down on his body. His broad bear-like shoulders, his extremely developed bare back muscles and his firm yet supple tiger-like waist made him look like a work of art.

He was enjoying the morning sun when he suddenly heard a knock.

“Who is it?”

He heard a maid’s voice, “I brought you breakfast, sir.”

“Come in.”

Albrecht seemed to have developed some kind of confidence after embracing a woman. He didn’t think of covering up his naked body.

Several maids came in with the meal. As if they were used to it, no one lowered their eyes nor appeared embarrassed. They laid the food on the wooden table in the middle of the room with some silver cutlery. Then the maids bid their farewells and left the room.

Albrecht walked towards the sleeping woman.

“Kuhum, hum. Wake up.”

When he saw no signs of the woman standing up, he tried to wake her up with a gentle nudge. The woman tossed and turned playfully before she eventually opened her eyes. She looked up at Albrecht with her emerald eyes and smiled faintly. A smile automatically formed on Albrecht’s mouth as a heart-throbbing emotion filled his chest.

“You should eat.”

The woman raised her body, blinked her eyes, rolled up the covers and stood up naked.

The two sat at the table naked.

“What’s your name?”

The woman stuffed her mouth with food as she mumbled, “Elisa. You?”

“Albrecht.”

Albrecht felt great and happy just looking at Elisa. Elisa also liked him. The two didn’t even finish their meal when they got tangled up again.

They spent the whole day like that.

Albrecht lived like this for a few days without leaving his room, causing his body clock to change. But he didn’t care.

Like usual, Albrecht was hugging and kissing Elisa when he suddenly heard a knock. He didn’t even bother to ask who the person was as if he couldn’t be bothered to care.

“Come in.”

It wasn’t a maid that entered though but Rutger.

“What?” Albrecht said with a frown.

“Sir Knight, please excuse me for being rude but something urgent has come up.”

“What’s the matter?”

“You see… A warehouse under our management has been overtaken by a bunch of thugs. They’re getting in the way of our work. Please help us.”

“Fucking annoying.”

Then Albrecht looked at Elisa who took his hand. She smiled at him. “Go. I’ll wait for you here.”

Albrecht kissed her lips gently.

“I’ll come back quickly.”

Albrecht stood up and dressed himself in a tunic, pants and shoes made of high-quality materials. He also took his sword.

“Where is it? Take me there.”

Albrecht stepped out of the Wolf’s Den and found that it was already night time. Dozens of members of the Thief Guild followed Rutger and Albrecht.

Rutger took Albrecht to the Bizer River, which flowed from the city to the sea. Since it was only a river, the docks were not very large.

Most of the docks were clustered in the bay a little further away from the city. However, dockyards were very valuable because transportation costs were much lower when people only had to unload directly there than carrying and unloading goods to the city.

Rutger guided Albrecht through several corners of the slum. People who saw Rutger’s group from their house’s windows were frightened when they saw him and immediately shut their windows.

After some time, Rutger came to a stop at a corner of a building.

Albrecht looked at the side and saw the Bizer River and warehouses lined up along the edge of the city facing the river.

Rutger pointed to one of them.

“That one. Five armed.mercenaries took over one of our warehouses.”

Five mercenaries wearing chain armors and helmets were seen next to one of the warehouses . They were talking among themselves.

“You don’t mind if I kill them, do you?”

Rutger answered with a smile, “Of course.”

Albrecht strode towards the mercenaries without hesitation. The mercenaries spotted him and asked, “What?”

Albrecht drew his sword without answering their question and swung it to the side. The sword cut the necks of two mercenaries at once. The two touched their necks and fell down.

“Huh? Fuck, what’s with you?”

The three mercenaries at the back each drew their weapons and rushed towards Albrecht.

Albrecht kicked one of them who was rushing towards him with a spear and a shield. With that, the mercenary fell backward. Another one holding an axe came up from behind him. Albrecht swung his sword and cut his throat.

Taking advantage of this opening, another mercenary tried to struck him down with a sword. Albrecht stepped slightly to the side to dodge, grabbed his sword with both his hands and sliced him up.  The mercenary’s beheaded head soared in the sky.

The mercenary, who fell down and was about to get up to rush in with his shield, looked at Albrecht and wondered what was going on.

Albrecht strode up to him, grabbed his shield and pulled on it hard. This time, the mercenary fell down head first. Without time to get up, Albrecht’s sword slashed the back of his neck.

‘It surely is a pain in the ass to use a sword when the opponent uses a shield.’

Albrecht swung his sword a few times and wiped it with a towel he had brought. Then he threw the towel onto the ground. He stowed away his sword in its scabbard and walked towards Rutger.

“It’s over, right?”

Rutger had a smile on his face. He looked at Albrecht like he was looking at the world’s greatest treasure.

“Yes. I’ll take care of the rest. Thank you very much.”

All the men behind Rutger looked at Albrecht with fear on their faces. Albrecht ignored their gazes and returned to Wolf’s Den. He headed straight for the second floor and entered his room. Elisa was sitting naked at the table, eating grapes. Her eyes widened when she saw Albrecht come back.

“You really came back quickly?”

Albrecht loosened his sword belt and wordlessly walked up to her, kissing her and lifting her thighs.

“Kiyaa! Kyahaha!”

Elisa laughed and kissed Albrecht with her arms wrapped around his neck and her legs wrapped around his waist. The two were once again tangled up.

Albrecht rolled in bed with Elisa, not caring about the sun rising and setting. Rutger visited once every three days, then once every two days, and eventually once a day.

As Albrecht looked down at Elisa’s sleeping figure, he wondered, ‘How many people have I killed by now? One, two… Oh fuck it.’

He suddenly remembered about Diego. Wasn’t he supposed to be with him in this city? Until they met Rutger, didn’t they decide to plan things out?

But Diego’s not a kid anymore, does he still need to think about him?

Despite this thought, a sense of guilt and anxiety rose in his heart.
