As I returned to the fallen priestess, after taking care of the stamina potion again, I heard the brave cry of a hippopotamus.

"Bumo!"

Hippopo's right paw, a high-speed stomp.

A thud.

A shadow slips past Hippopo's feet.

A cloud of dust rises. Hippopo is breathing hard.

I quickly throw a stamina potion, still in my hand, at Hippopo.

The remaining bottle of the potion spins around and flies away.

It hits Hippopo right in the back.

The stamina potion is applied to Hippopotamus.

"Bumo bumo!" Hippopotamus sounds pleased. And then its movements regain their sharpness.

Hippopo stands up on two hind legs and leaps at the shadow crawling on the ground. As he leaps at it, he uses his other six legs to deliver a series of stomps.

A thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud, thud.

It is as if something has been crushed.

Hippopo screams in triumph.

I rushed to Hippopo.

"Are you all right?　What was that, Hippopo?

Hippopo dexterously pointed to his right paw with his chin, "Bumo bumo.

I kneel down on one knee and listen quietly.

I confirm that she is completely crushed for the time being and decide to start treating her.

I only pour a potion on her, though.

I say, "Excuse me," and probe her flank.
