Chapter 7.3- No more foolishness (2)

There were only a few elders of the Tower to act as witnesses, except for Phillip and his disciples.

"The Fifth Prince of Pilias is here." When Alex announced Raymond's arrival, the Wizards stood up, bowed slightly to show courtesy.

The same was true of Phillip, but there was still a cold mockery around his mouth.

Next to him stood a young wizard with blond hair and blue eyes.

‘Is he the third student of his?’

Did he feel the eye contact? The Wizard grinned and opened his mouth.

"I am Desia Helly, please take care of me."

Desia Helly?

‘I didn't expect her to be here.'

Raymond didn't expect to meet the main character's colleague this soon.

She is a colleague of the main character in the novel. And at the end of the third volume, she became a genius wizard who ascended to the level of a Great wizard. And she is one of the people that must be taken away from the main character.

‘Yeah, I just remember she's from the Blue Tower.'

There were few descriptions about her past in the novel, so he could barely remember anything about her.

‘I don't remember the detailed setting, but I also know that she has learned magic for less than three years ago. But I can't believe she’s already in the middle of being an intermediate wizard.’

In a way, it should be one of the reason why must he remember her, but strangely, Raymond couldn't think any other else about her.

"Why did she do that?"

Raymond went to the center and stood with short admiration.

"I look forward to your kind cooperation."

One of the elders of the tower was in charge of the referee.

Raymond and Desia walk away to distance themselves from the elder, vowing to have understood the rules of the battle once more and to use fair methods.

"Your Highness the Fifth may use a training sword and shield."

The judge said. He did not know that Raymond had risen to the level of a Junior Wizard already, so he suggested that he would use a sword.

Indeed, it is hard to know because his Mana is hidden by the secret techniques.

"No need."

"You'll regret it."

Phillip's sarcastic voice came, but Raymond ignored it and release his Mana, the elders gathered among the audience showed their curiosity, twinkling their eyes.

"Hoo? The Fifth Prince may have been walking on Mana's path after all."

"That's not what I expected. There were so many bad rumors."

"He appeard to be the beginning of a Junior wizard, but Desia's is close to the Intermediate level……. I don't think the results will change."

The elder's conversation were faintly heard.

They only felt interested, but that's all. No one even thought the Fifth Prince would win.

Whether or not they believed he could win, Raymond made a spear out of Mana.

Desia squinted her eyes and watched Raymond.

She could feel an enormous Mana wave around her. There are only two options left: attack or defense, but Raymond strongly believed that she would choose defense over attack.

‘That's what Desia does best.'

Desia Helly is a wizard specialized in protecting someone enough to earn the nickname of absolute defense.

She was set up like that, and she's been living like that.

Even if he cast an attack magic right now, she'll act as what she's always been doing.

Habits are scary.

"Whoa!"

The air seemed to freeze due to the tension between them.

The two stared at each other for five minutes without saying a word. Raymond was holding the Mana's spear, and Desia was looking sharp and started raising her Mana to respond immediately.

‘From now on, I will teach you the most easily learned attack magic among the secret techniques.'

Slowly moving toward Desia, he recalled what Lisefield said.

‘It's easy, but it's a secret techniques. I can't guarantee that you can learn it within two days.’

That's what Lisefield used to say. Raymond was a little nervous when he heard that.

It was because he thought it might be too difficult. However, he did it in the end.

It may not be perfect, but it has reached a level where it can be treated as a strong attack.

"Desia Helly, I feel sorry for you, but I really hate betraying someone's expectations.”

A blue mana burst out from his body, kicking the ground and soaring into the sky.

At that moment, all the elders who were sitting jumped up.

"No way, that's the Fifth Prince who was a fool."

"Well, that's….”

"No way!"

Everyone was shocked, and the blue mana continued to flutter.

‘Today is the beginning.’

His cold eyes kept an eye on Desia.

‘There's no more bullshit.’

It's time to take off the stigma and shine brilliantly.
