"Oh!." Fu Meixu said in understanding.

"Meixu, do you have anything on tomorrow?." Grandfather Fu asked Fu Meixu with his gaze on her.

Fu Meixu was surprised that her grandfather would talk to her, but we regained her consciousness and replied to him respectfully.

"No, grandfather, I'm free tomorrow." 

She didn't know the reason he was suddenly interested in her schedule, but she still replied to him.

"Good! Tomorrow, take Jia Li to shop for clothes and any other thing she would need. She may refuse you, but I know you have good eyes, so help her to pick some good stuff."

Grandfather Fu said to Fu Meixu, as he gestured to Butler Gu to pass the credit card to her.

Fu Meixu was overjoyed that her grandfather assigned a task to her. She was glad that she played nice to Jia Li, otherwise this opportunity would have slipped past her.

Fu ChunHua was also happy that the Old man assigned such a task to her daughter. She was happy about the change.

"Don't worry grandfather, I will." Fu Meixu said happily as she took the Credit Card from Butler Gu. She couldn't hide how happy she was.

Glancing back at Jia Li, the old man said to her, "Jia Li, don't refuse my goodwill, otherwise this Old man will be unhappy." 

Jia Li could only nod in understanding. How could she dare to make the Old man unhappy?

She has seen how powerful he was, both officially and privately, so that consciousness of his power was still in her mind.

Fu Hee was not happy with the old man's decision. He already said he would be in charge of Jia Li during her stay here, so why did he assign Meixu to accompany her shopping?

With a little intelligence left, Fu Hee thought about it and analyzed the situation.

The reason the Old man let Fu Meixu accompany Jia Li shopping, was because they were if the same age, and he was also testing her.

He knew that all of them were calculative and wanted to get close to Jia Li since he valued her, so he intentionally asked Meixu to accompany Jia Li to shop.

The old man knew that Fu Meixu wouldn't try any tricks, and instead, will end up doing a good job in other to get in his good books again.

Old Mr. Fu could tell almost 90% of what everybody was thinking, apart from Fu Hua which ranged/leveled up to 50% at most.

Although Fu Lin was quiet, the Old man could still fathom his thoughts.

Jia Li noticed that General Fu Lei and Mr. Fu Geming were on the quiet side. They didn't talk if it wasn't necessary, especially, General Fu Lei, who had this cold countenance, just like Fu Hua.

The Fu Family was indeed different from what she had imagined.

After the little talks, the family dispersed. Those that wanted to watch the Tv, went to the living room while those that had different agendas, went away.

Jia Li returned to her room to make a call to her parents. She knew that they must have been itching to hear from her again.

Jia Li talked to them about the Fu Family, and how they were nice to her, but she didn't divulge any unnecessary information, she was not a gossip.

The Qin couple was happy at her well their daughter was treated. They have been anxious because the ways of the wealthy were very different from theirs.

It was like two different worlds apart.

The Qin couple also asked if She had given the tonics to the Old man, and Jia Li assured them with a smile.

"Good night, Li, we will talk with you again in the morning." Mrs. Qin said as they bid her good night before the call came to an end.

"Brother, were you also surprised Grandfather invited Miss Jia Li over?." Fu YingPei asked Fu Hua immediately the stepped into his room.

"I'm much as surprised as you are. Don't ask me any questions, get out, I need to work." Fu Hua said to him without glancing at him.

"Brother why are you chasing me away, I didn't come here to gossip!." Fu YingPei said in a pitiful tone, but Fu Hua didn't fall for it, and immediately sent him away with a glare.

Since his brother didn't want to gossip with him, Fu YingPei could only return to his bedroom with a sigh.

The Next morning, somewhere in a small town, Mr. Qin's brother-in-law looked troubled. He could smell danger wherever he went to, and that made him scared of his life.

He was still owning the Loan sharks, and they were on his neck. For fear of his life, he decided to go and meet them in other to beg for more time.

He knew that even if he sold everything he had, it still wasn't going to be possible to repay up to half of what he borrowed.

He cursed himself and decided to visit the loan sharks, with the 5 thousand he managed to.

Five thousand was a chicken change, compared to the amount of money he borrowed from them.

He could only gather courage and plead with them to accept the little money he had with him at the moment, while at the same time, asking them for more time.

This man was unlucky, because he ended up getting beaten up by the loan sharks, and the money he came with, returned to him.

"You borrowed 5 million from me, and promised to pay everything back before the end of last month, with the interest, but now, you come to me with only 5 thousand. Do you take my words for granted?! Do you want to die?!" 

The Boss of the gangster left him with a message that kept ringing in his ears.

"I will give you three days to return 50% of the money I loaned to you, otherwise, you will hear from me!."

On his way back home, The man kept shivering, because he was suddenly feeling very cold even with the overcoat on his body.

His face and body felt painful, and he sustained some injuries after he was beaten up.

At this point in his life, he discovered how foolish he was. 

'Where am I going to get 5 million from?.' The man thought to himself as he limped back home.
