Back at the meeting room after Fu Juan left, Grandfather Fu stated the reason for the meeting before leaving the floor open for Fu Juan's husband.

The man agreed on only a few of what Fu Juan said about him. He agreed that the part about him having a wife and two children outside was true, but as for other things, they were not true.

When he was asked if he knew about the adoption Fu Juan carried out, he denied that fact. "I have no idea that she adopted anyone for a child as I haven't been staying with her anymore. I only come back a few times to stay over."
