Chapter 771 Unearthing another secret　　This sudden confession was a shock to everyone who heard it.

At first, they had all thought it to be a joke, but seeing her serious and helpless Fu Juan looked while still saying the same words over and over again, they couldn't help but be astonished.

"What do you mean by that?! How is Lanying your birth daughter?" Fu Geming asked while pointing fingers at her.

Fu Juan who was sprawled on the floor knelt again and said, "Lanying is actually my child, I had left her to be raised in the orphanage as soon as I gave birth to her in the states. This is a long story..."

No one said another word again, as they were still shocked by that revelation. The Fu brothers exchanged glances before shifting their gazes back to the old man to see if he had anything to say about this new development, but he didn't.

No one could tell the fleeting emotions and thoughts the old man was experiencing.

Thinking that there would be a chance now for her daughter, she crawled to Fu Hua's feet to beg him.

"Hua, Lanying is my daughter, your blood-related cousin, please don't let the soldiers take her away, you can give her another punishment, please!!!"

Before Fu Hua could respond, Lanying turned around despite being in pain, when she saw that the soldiers' grip on her was strong.

She looked so angry as she turned to Fu Juan. She laughed hysterically while saying, "You finally admitted that I am your biological daughter right in front of your family? Did it take anything from you?"

That comment from her got the attention of everyone on her.

'Wait, what was going on here?'

'Did Lanying know about this all along?"

'What does this girl mean?'

Fu Juan was more shocked than the rest of them because she was so shocked that Lanying knew about this secrete.

"How did you know?" She asked in shock as her butts landed on the floor. She looked at Lanying and didn't know what else to say other than that question.

Lanying chuckled with a painful expression on her face. "I was told long ago by someone who worked at the first orphanage that raised me. I didn't know your reason for trying to hide that fact, but I still respected you and loved you but what did I get in return? You refused to acknowledge my real identity even to your own family, was I asking for too much?!"

"No, it's not like that! My life was too complicated back then..." Fu Juan quickly said as she tried to change her thoughts, but she got interrupted.

Lanying laughed as if she just heard the funniest joke in the world.

"Do you take me for a child? I just knew that the only way for you to admit this to your family will require me to take extreme measures." 

"What do you mean?" Fu Juan asked with tears in her eyes as a knowing feeling overshadowed her.

She didn't want to believe that Lanying's next response was what was going on in her head.

"To get you to confess today, I harmed your niece so I could get into real trouble, and only then would you confess. I needed to make sure my situation would be dire enough for you to confess, that's why I did what I did." 

This is why when Lanying already poisoned Jasmine, she asked her to immediately report to her mother if her stomach started to hurt. 

Her intention wasn't to kill Jasmine but to harm her in such a way that the consequences of her action would be dire for her.

"How could you ask for attention that way?!" Fu ChuHua asked angrily while pointing fingers at her.

Fu Hua asked with furrowed brows as his anger returned, "You harmed my daughter because of the feud with your mother?" 

Fu Juan saw how angry Fu Hua was, and forgot the soft scolding of 'you shouldn't gave done that' that she was giving to Lanying.

Lanying heard what Fu Hua said and managed to fix her gaze on him fearlessly.

"It's now that I'm sorry for harming your daughter. I did what I did because this woman pushed me to the wall."

"Do you think apologizing now would change anything?" FangSu asked angrily as she tried to walk over to hit her, but Meixu and Ling dragged her back.

Lanying scoffed in response, "I am not hoping for a better treatment I only apologized to feel better for my actions against that innocent little girl. I don't care what happens to me because my life is fulfilled now. At last, the truth is out!"

Fu Juan felt so pained in her heart while watching Lanying. She couldn't believe that she knew about this secret for such a long time and kept quiet because she news hoping that one day, she would introduce her properly.

And now, she even had to do something so evil so she could admit their true relationship. 

Fu Juan was thinking about how much Lanying has suffered and tolerated for the longest time.

"Lanying, I'm sorry..." Fu Juan apologized with a helpless gaze.

"You are sorry?" Lanying scoffed. Glancing at the rest of the family members, she said to them, "I have another secret of hers to reveal," Saying that, she laughed.

Everyone just gazed at her as they wondered what other shocking news she wanted to bring to them.

Lanying first started by calling her mother by her name.

"Fu Juan is behind her husband's accident." Lanying did wait for their shocked reactions and continued with her revelation. "I heard her on the phone speaking to a man about making the accident fatal, but not enough to take his life."

"Lanying what nonsense are you saying, will you shut up!" Fu Juan said immediately as she got to her feet and wanted to reach out to her, but Fu Lei pushed her away and asked Lanying to continue.

"My stepfather threatened her with my birth secret, and coupled with the divorce, she decided to strike him in other to gain more time."
