Tong Yan also began to get worried: “I really don’t know what to write. By the way, how do you write? Let me have a look.”

“I simply write. No trick or style.”

After thinking about it, Tong Yan took out his phone, opened the school’s app and searched, “High scoring compositions.”

Xu Xinduo really didn’t know about this function as she hadn’t gone through all the menus in the school’s app.

She thought of something and immediately stopped Tong Yan, “Don’t do that.”

Tong Yan was puzzled, but still continued to tap on his phone screen: “What’s wrong? I am trying to learn.”

Tong Yan was about to find Xu Xinduo’s composition results, but Xu Xinduo suddenly hit his head.

Tong Yan turned his head to look at Xu Xinduo in astonishment and then wailed, clutching his head, “I will get a concussion…”

Xu Xinduo also got worried and hurriedly helped Tong Yan rub his head. She couldn’t help complaining: “This wouldn’t have happened if you had listened to me.”

“It hurts…” Tong Yan once again entered into his baby mode. He pretended to cry like there was no tomorrow and then shot into Xu Xinduo’s arms.

When Wei Lan saw this scene, he immediately raised his mobile phone to take a selfie, but instead, it featured Xu Xinduo and Tong Yan.

Wei Lan found that Xu Xinduo had noticed his actions and immediately explained: “Don’t get me wrong. I just suddenly felt I was so handsome and decided to take a selfie.”

Su Wei also joined in the fun: “Come on, let’s take a group picture.”

Su Wei and Wei Lan sat side by side to take selfies. As Xu Xinduo and Tong Yan were sitting just after them, they were also captured in the picture. Tong Yan’s face was only partly showing because he was leaning against Xu Xinduo’s arms.

Xu Xinduo was so embarrassed that she pushed Tong Yan aside and immediately left the classroom in a hurry. She didn’t even continue teaching Tong Yan

When she walked out of the classroom, she almost ran into someone because of being distracted. Both parties ended up apologizing to each other at the same time. After that, the other party left.

Xu Xinduo glanced back at Wei Lan and Su Wei who were laughing stealthily. She stomped her foot and then returned to the Rockets class.

When Xu Xinduo left, Wei Lan returned to his seat and asked Tong Yan: “What? You finally got enlightened?”

Tong Yan rubbed his head and looked at Wei Lan: “I didn’t think about it before. But now whenever I think about you trying to take my Duoduo away, I get angry.”

Wei Lan’s smile gradually faded and he immediately ran away after saying goodbye.

Tong Yan’s head was really hit hard this time, but he still took out his phone to read Xu Xinduo’s composition. He was curious to know what’s wrong with this composition.

Composition topic: Shadow.

——I spend most of my time in that quiet small village. Sitting upstairs, I can see the endless mountains, accompanied by bright sunshine and the shadows lying on the ground.

——I have two shadows. One is far while the other is near. Both are ethereal.

Tong Yan looked at it for a while and couldn’t help but curl his lips. This delicate and artistic style of writing was similar to that of [Youth’s Pain]. How good was her Chinese teacher?

(T/L: Youth’s Pain represents all the works written to show the writer’s pain because of love.)

——I care about a person. He has been with me like a shadow. My relationship with him is probably the same as that of a shadow. Accompany each other and grow together.

——He’s always there, but never within reach.

——I know he is with me, but I can’t hug him.

Looking at this passage, Tong Yan suddenly felt a pang in his heart.
