Hi, everybody. I have recently started a new novel called Strict Wife of the ’70s Manages the Household. It already has 17 chapters. You can check it out HERE.

A lot of other crews also had a makeup van that looked something like this. The interior is not very exquisite and one could tell at first glance that this vehicle had been through a lot. In the car, the seats swayed slightly and the rear was filled with a pile of equipment and clothing.

Yin Wei reminded Xu Xinduo that she should be careful in the car.

Many make-up vehicles would install invisible cameras to secretly take pictures of female artists that were changing their clothes. Hence, she asked her to pay attention to that.

So after getting in the car, she looked at the spots where Yin Hua had mentioned, relieved to find that there was nothing unusual.

She knew that she was going to take scenic shots of the location, so she took some immunity-boosting supplements in advance. She even had some flu-prevention medication just to make sure she was well-prepared to face the harsh conditions of the location.

However, after the photoshoot, she was feeling a bit too cold.

They had a photoshoot in the snow, but Xu Xinduo actually wore a skirt that left her legs and arms bare to the cold. Her makeup was also slightly paler than it normally would. Throughout the process, the photographer liked to take pictures with the light snowfall dusting over her eyelashes.

Wearing a skirt, Xu Xinduo was trembling the entire time as her photos were taken by a photographer who was lying on the snow. It was freezing, but she persisted for a long time.

It was at this moment that she even wondered whether her body was suitable for modelling.

However, she persevered. Due to the fact that Xu Xinduo was not famous, she did not have the right to be picky as she had to do whatever she was told to. She could only wait until her name rose to fame to be able to call the shots.

Just like Yin Hua— only taking pictures according to individual liking and having breaks all the time when the perfect shot just couldn’t be captured.

The staff was also very considerate of Xu Xinduo. After shooting for a while, someone came over to help her put on a military coat. They would give her a warm cup of water and allow her to rest for a while before resuming the shoot at a slower pace.

When Xu Xinduo continued the photoshoot again, a staff member whispered, “This little girl is very hardworking, totally unlike the typical newcomer.”

“I saw her clenching her teeth really hard, but Brother Du told her to stop it.”

“The angles of her shots feel great.”

“Once she got on camera, she never really needed to fix anything— she was just naturally photogenic.”

After the filming, Xu Xinduo was taken to the car immediately as someone said to her, “Little girl, we bought some boiled corn from the neighbouring village, so you should eat some of that first. Sister Gao went around to see if there was a restaurant nearby, but keep yourself warm for now— we’ll have a shoot with the other model.”

Xu Xinduo was wrapped in a coat and she nodded while holding corn.

After the man left, she closed the car doors. Despite wearing a military coat, she still felt cold and proceeded to drape her own jacket over her as well. She physiologically shed tears when she was eating the corn— entirely due to the freezing coldness of the weather.

Because it was an outdoor scene and it was very cold, the staff handled their jobs at a fast rhythm as well. The two models got in the car and rested after the fast-paced shooting. Photographer Brother Du sat in the car to look through the photos as he wanted to see how the pictures turned out. He also wanted to know if any of the photos needed a retake.
