The Legitimate Daughter Doesn’t Care!

Father Mu wanted to ask her about it and quickly made his way to the door of the office, but Xu Xinduo had already left.

Sure enough, a lawyer contacted father Mu in the afternoon and gave him a bunch of documents that required his signature. He read them out of caution and all of which were about the transfer of Xu Xinduo’s custody.

Father Mu read the document and asked hesitantly, “Whose side are you working for?”

The lawyer didn’t answer him and gracefully asked father Mu to sign the contracts first if there was nothing wrong with them.

Father Mu had to sign. After signing, the lawyer handed over the hair with follicles that Xu Xinduo had prepared in advance. There were a couple of strands in there as if she was making sure that the amount would be sufficient for whatever scenario.

Father Mu let out a sigh of relief when he got the hair strands. He saw the lawyer put away the contract slowly before speaking, “From today, Miss Xu will be the adopted daughter of the Tong family. In order to not affect both the children’s marriage together, the Madam means to use Miss Xu’s family name that she has been accustomed to all along.”

Father Mu’s expression collapsed in an instant, “Not affect the marriage?”

“Yes, our Madam likes to give gifts to  the two children. After the New Year, she went about saying that she wanted to choose an island and name it with the names of the two before presenting it as their 18th birthday present. For this gift, the Madam has also been very attentive and we have already started the construction plans for it.”

Father Mu felt that these must surely be fantastical stories, but his expression was stiff as if he was lathered with a splash of hyaluronic acid. “The Madam likes her.”

Father Mu felt like he had been struck by lightning. He had always heard that the couple had a bad relationship, but now, a lawyer was telling him that Tong Yukai actually loved Yin Hua?

Yin Hua likes her, so Tong Yukai could let Xu Xinduo be their daughter-in-law regardless of her identity and background?!

He felt that the lawyer was teasing him. Otherwise, how could this be possible?

However, the presence of the lawyer being here showed that the Tong family was truly willing to dispatch a lawyer for Xu Xinduo’s sake.

While Father Mu was stunned, the lawyer was still smiling decently. He looked like he was in his 40’s as he showed up with short hair and a neat appearance that flauntered his meticulous grooming. There were some loose folds of skin evident on his face when he smiled, but it did not affect his temperament.

The suit on him seemed to be a high-end custom-made suit, which was well-ironed and free of creases. The collar was buttoned to the top very neatly, revealing the lawyer’s rigour and steadfastness.

The way he behaved and dressed revealed that this person was probably also a leader of a certain department instead of a stupefied young man.

Then, the lawyer added, “Mr. Mu, you have already signed the agreement, so you will have nothing to do with Miss Xu after this. If there is any entanglement in the future, it will inevitably provoke Mr. Tong. Mr. Tong hates being involved in unnecessary entanglements in this regard, so even I am not sure what would happen if you were to violate these terms.”

The lawyer deliberately mentioned that Yin Hua liked Xu Xinduo and Tong Yukai would agree to the union of the duo. That was because he wanted to let him know about the events of what would happen henceforth to prevent him from being involved in these matters anymore. Tong Yukai was no regular beast to toy with.
