The Lost Fruits

Chapter 4 - CH 4

woke up the next morning more refreshed than yesterday, more of his injuries were healed.

It was still a little bit dark as the sun was still going up. Using this time to clear somethings before he can move in this city.

' judging by what I have seen, this is the world of Aladdin...I don't remember a lot of things about it but...' Ace took a piece of paper and a pen from his ring and started writing the things he remembers.

- Genie

- 3 wishes

- Evil counceler

- Red Parrot

- Cave

- carpet

- Princess Jasmine

Those were the things he remembers, as for how everything relates, Ace has forgotten.

He racked his brain to think of something 'The story starts after Aladdin and Jasmine meet somewhere' Ace thought.

With that being the last of his thoughts, he sighed and stood up to go down and have his breakfasts.

In the Sultan's palace...

Sultan Hamed is walking down his halls with his vizier Jafar, his face was a little grim and his health wasn't good these past few days from exhausting himself.

"My Sultan..." Jafar called "You should really urge the princess to choose a husband so we can have more support in our war with the Jahilon country." Jafar leaned forward while walking beside the Sultan.

Sultan Hamed nodded "She has her mother's stubbornness, but I can't blame her. She is still a girl and still afraid." once he remembered his late wife, the Sultan felt another wave of sadness crash in his c.h.e.s.t.

Jafar rolled his eyes and so did the red parrot on his shoulder 'If that girl is afraid, then I am a clown on fire!' Jafar thought. The Sultan may be fooled by his daughter's act of weakness but he knows better than anyone that she isn't. 'Who in his right mind will believe that a girl who is afraid, sleeps with a huge tiger at her feet!' Jafar wanted to hit the Sultan on his head with his staff.

"But my Sultan, you must speak to her, we are running out of time," Jafar spoke. He stopped as they reached the princess's personal quarters letting only the Sultan go in.

"I will do my best this time." Sultan Hamed said.

Jafar was looking at his leader speak with his daughter, his eyes were bored. "If he convinced her this time, I will quit being a parrot and instead become a chicken." The parrot on his shoulder spoke.

"...Indeed, I have no hope in him, I must deal with this with my own hands, I must find that lamp." Jafar said.

Behind Jafar, a soldier came running "Lord Vizier! we have captured some boys, if you have time, you should go see them, sir." The soldier spoke while bowing in respect. Jafar hummed "Let us go see if there is any diamond in the rough this time." Jafar turned to leave after seeing that the Sultan was failing miserably.

"Prepare for our journey, we leave at sunset," Jafar ordered and left for his business while his parrot is repeating 'sunset' after him.

In the city market. Aladdin was leading Ace towards all sorts of shops and restaurants. Aladdin was very knowledgable about the markets. After all, they are where he gets his food from.

"What's the most successful kind of business here, Aladdin?" Ace asked. He had the urge to open some business here in Agrabah, so he could kill some time until he sees what he can do and gather his thoughts. There is too much money on him and he feels like his hands burning, desiring to use that gold.

Ace was never a man who hoard treasures and money, He would use every opportunity to use that money. Opening business was one of the things he never got to do in One Piece, so why not here?

Aladdin locked his hands behind his head while walking in front of Ace, he hummed while thinking "The most successful business? The ones that come to my mind are Spices, vegetables, clothing, and construction. Agrabah is still a weak and kind of a poor city so people are still looking for the necessary living conditions." Aladdin said while sighing.

"And why is that?" Ace asked. He looked at the Palace "Your ruler is rich enough." He said.

Aladdin laughed "True, but that mostly is for appearance's sake. You must be thinking that they should give us some money if they are living in a palace. But we wish that was all there is to it." Aladdin reached for a near dates shop and grabbed two dates, one for him and the other for Abu. Of course, he didn't pay and the shop keeper didn't even notice. But Ace still throw him a Silver coin.

"You were saying?" Ace spoke. He stopped Aladdin and gestured for him to sit under the shade of a tree.

"I was saying that all of the country's money and riches are used to fund the army. Right now, everyone is afraid that we might go on a full-on war with Jahilon country." Aladdin looked at the people walking in front of them.

Aladdin knows that if only the princess chose a prince to marry out of all of the people she kicked out, then they will have someone to support them in their war and that will cause the Jahilons to stop and rethink before trying to go in war with them. But, The winds blow with what the sh.i.p.s do not covet.

Ace remembered that Jasmine was supposed to marry a prince and she refused all her suiters. 'So this is what was going on!' Ace thought.

After a few moments, the city started roaring with cheers and screams, people started hitting drums and making way as a long parade of soldiers and servant was coming in the city. All kinds of praises were sung toward the person riding his horse following his servants and soldiers as they make their way to the palace.

Ace jumped on the roof to see the events unfolding on the other side of the main street. Aladdin followed after him with Abu "Another prince." He semi-shouted as the music was too loud.

Ace hummed. Aladdin sat and crossed his legs while looking at the prince and imagined himself in his place waving at everyone and smiling while throwing rains of gold at the people, but he chuckled as he realized his current situation.

He stretched and yawned "I just hope this one gets through the day, or we might lose another potential ally." He said.

The parade entered the palace and the people went back to their business.

Ace was in deep thoughts. Many things were going inside his mind, he wanted to do a lot of things, but for now...He looked at Aladdin "Hey, Aladdin..." He called.

"What?" Aladdin said while slapping some bugs away from his face.

"Would you like to work for me?"
