The Lost Fruits

On the calm ocean night, a lone ship is traveling to its destination, it's red sails with a jolly Roger of black burned Japanese skull indicating that it's a pirate ship.

On the ship deck, a white-haired girl stood looking at the flag, behind her, Ace was laying on the wooden floor, Elsa looked at him "Why do you have a jolly Roger as your flag instead of the royal flag?" She asked.

"Because..."Ace raised his arm up and then pointed with his thumb at himself "...This is my ship." He said.

"...?" Elsa shook her head, what kind of prince takes a jolly Roger as his flag. Trouble my come if they encountered the navy of some country. How will they convince them that they are royalty and not pirates?

"CAPTAIN! I SEE LAND!" Blue in the front shouted as he had a pirate outfit on, the eye patch and everything, even the wooden leg.

"What?! This fast? It has only been 5 hours since we departed!" Ace stood up and ran to the front, then he found nothing. There was still water everywhere. "...?" He then looked at Blue with a puzzled expression.

"Oh! I was just playing, I didn't mean that, the costume got me in role ya know! Haha!!" Blue replied with a chuckle.

"Stop playing man, we don't even know when we will reach out destination." Ace then fell back on the floor and looked at the stars.

Behind him, faint and cold footsteps came towards him. "Excuse me, Prince Ace." Said Elsa as she knelt behind his head.

"Just Ace, call me Ace."

"Ok, Ace. I don't mean to disturb you but I am really curious about my training in magic." Elsa said with a hint of anticipation.

Ace frowned "remind me, what was your problem again?" He asked.

Elsa looked down with shame "I can't control my powers."

Ace sighed and then jumped up standing "Alright, come with me." He said. Blue was still busy with his cosplay act, by this time, he had already created an illusion of a monkey and a parrot for as the crew pets.

Ace led Elsa to the edge of the ship and looked at the ocean for a moment "listen carefully, I want you to release all your power in this direction." He said.

"What?" Elsa was surprised as she questioned if she heard him right.

"As you heard, release all your power in this direction." Ace repeated himself again.

"But how? I have never released my power more than making an ice pile, the rest was uncontrollable outbursts." Elsa said as she tries to make her situation clear to Ace.

"Like this..." Ace pointed his palm at the ocean and a huge wave of fire was launched forward, the fire was so hot that steam started coming out of Elsa's body due to her natural ice armor.

Elsa was amazed, she kept on looking at the endless stream of fire coming from Ace, he kept on going like that for a few seconds, the water started bubbling as it started to boil before Ace decided to stop "You get the point." He said as his hands were still on fire.

Elsa sighed and nodded before stepping forward, she then extended her palm forward and ice started forming around her arms. The air became cold, Elsa closed her eyes for a second before she opened them sharply, launching a beam of ice forward that instantly froze the water.

Ace nodded before he lighted his body on flames to warm himself. The coldness has surprised him.

"Brrr!" Blue popped out of nowhere near Ace, sticking his body to him to warm up "H-how long is she gonna keep going?" he asked stuttering.

Ace shrugged his shoulders "Until she can't do that anymore." He then dragged Blue who was trapped in an ice block, all he had to do is wait for Elsa to finish. He deiced to take a nap when he noticed that she was gonna take a while to that.

Five hours later, Elsa finally dropped to her knees from exhaustion, she was so concentrated on channeling her powers that she didn't notice the time. Ace was awake at the time, he smiled and walked to her.

"Well, that took longer than expected." He said looking at the out of breath Elsa. "Now for the next part." He said shocking Elsa.

"Now?" She asked with tears on her eyes, she has never worked this hard in her life.

"Of course, here, try to use the little amount of power in you and start making a shape, make something like a spear, arrow, even animals and stuff. Make anything that comes to mind." Ace used his powers to make a copy of himself, though it was from pure fire, no expression or faces, just a fire silhouette.

Elsa looked at it and sighed before gritting her teeth to stand up, and with everything she got, she started to make shapes of snow, though simple like ball or cubes, with time, she got better.

Ace nodded at her and went to look at the direction they were going to, Blue was taking the steering wheel, as he is the only one here who has seen this Te-fifi he speaks off.

Time went by, Elsa spent most of her time training while Ace cooked for them and Blue fished for them and led the way. Days passed by, nothing exited happened, but fun was still there as Ace and Blue would sometimes prank Elsa which would result in them ending up in a big ice cube.

Until one day, when Blue was fishing, he had a bored look on his eyes after spending hours of fishing with no catch at all. Then he noticed the waters acting strange, air bubbles started rising up like crazy, dark shadows started racing under the ship before a huge splash was created in the water followed by a feminine scream "Noooo!!"

"What is that?!" Ace came out seeing someone falling from the sky. Blue who was looking up while blocking the sun with his hand "A fish?" he said after seeing a green-scaled body of a fish. Then Elsa looked up with wide eyes.

The person fell down on the wooden deck of the ship in front of the trio who swarmed it with shocked eyes.

What was in front of them was a half-fish, half-human creature, with a green-scaled fish lower body and an upper body of a beautiful lady in her early twenties with a red hair of fury.

"Ouch, my head!" The create hed its human head and cried in pain, then its blue eyes looked up at the trio who were looking so rediculous "Hello there!" she said.

"IT'S A MERMAID!!" They shouted in shock.
