Eren stared at the silver haired man who stared back at him dumbfounded, smirking at the lean man before charging at him in full spead, his claws elongated to be as long as his forearm with the dark poison dripping out of them, his wings giving him the ability to match the God who was able to float using air, The man didn't sit still and wait for his heart to be gauged out though and dodged the attacks swiftly throwing counter attacks at the same time

None of them wanted to used large range attacks, the shadow lord didn't want anyone from what was left of the army to be hurt while Nov didn't want to risk polluting the creation energy in the shrine, not that it may lose it strength but if used to cause death, then it can no longer provide immortality, and that was the worst scenario, thus both parties used close range attacks and physical attacks although it made it much more restrained..

Eren wasn't fully adjusted to the changes in his body but he didn't have time for that, the creation energy was somehow connected and having Estonilla's share of it allowed him to sense something malicious happening in the center, the creation energy was acc.u.mulating unexplainably in it shrine, Eren didn't really understand what that really meant but he didn't trust it to be good, he followed his instincts as well as Andrea's guiding to reach the frozen island and the Gods castle in the center...

Nov on the other hand was perplexed, not knowing how this monster was able to see him, he kept on throwing air blades at the monster, air was his favorite element, learned how to press the air around him to suufocate his enemies, crush them under it weight or in this case use it as sharp weapons that can cut through steel, the monster was very strong, stronger than second generation gods even, he was able to see and evade most of the attacks while they didn't, not all of them though as some pierced his legs and t.h.i.g.hs, Nov noticed how unstable the monstwr movements were, and immediately figured out he was new with this power...

But still, how was the moster able to see him in the first place? Nov wondered, this castle was built in a way where the eyes can see what the mind knew to be there, the peasants were only able to see the body of his beloved Cinda only after some dogs smelled her blood and knew she was there, He cursed his luck, the bastards showed up right when he finished killing the last second generation God, Ghar, all he had left to do was wait until the power stabilize and poor into him but they showed up right when it began forcing him to end them first causing the power to destabilize, it wasn't hard for him though, they were nothing but wheat waiting to be reaped by him, and then this monster showed up...

Nov was taken aback when he realized the familiar aura coming from the winged monster, it was Estonilla's, the banned Goddess, the finest piece of a.s.s in this wretched place in his opinion, this place, he thought, this prison...

"You have the energy of one of the Goddesses, How?" Nov asked Eren who was throwing deadly attacks at him, the air blades clashing with the shadow blades, but unlike Eren who grew up in chaos and blood, Nov never had to fight before thus the longer the battle took the upper Eren's hand got, if the God was his usual self he wouldn't stand a chance against the monster but he had already absorbed Cinda's energy before he was interrupted, unlike the other Gods she was the easiest to kill because she simply trusted him the most, letting her gards down when she shouldn't, even though she was his soul mate, thousands of years on this island with nothing but the illusions created by this castle to fulfill all their wishes and d.e.s.i.r.es were enough to grow tired of everything, including your own soul mate..

"You will know when you meet her" Eren smirked at the God before charging at his c.h.e.s.t, the God though was too fast he evaded the attack easily, the moster was stronger than him physically, that was obvious, their magic was somehow of equal strength, but Nov was planning to use his little secret weapon... Cheat...

Eren looked around him, perplexed, his enemy suddenly evaporated into nothingness, he wondered if it was one of the God's powers or was it simply the castle's illusion? he didn't wonder for long because Nov reappeared behind him with a large glowing sword and dig it in his back, pushing it as deep as he could wanting nothing but to tear out the monster's heart..

Nov pushed the sword that sank in the monster's back, Eren growled ferociously making Nov smile in victory, it was obvious to him that this creature was a demon, but what he didn't understand was how did he acquire Estonilla's energy? Was it the same case of Historia and this monster was Estonilla's son? it can't be, Did he absorb her energy? it can't be either, The creation energy needed pure divine genes to stabilize it other wise it would destroy the vessel, and this ugly looking creature was in no way a pure God...

Nov thought he could get all the answers he was looking for once he kill the creature and restore the creation energy, the memory of blood was all he needed but then he realized a small detail : The monster wasn't bleeding...

Nov tried to retrace the sword out of the moster's back but to no use, it felt as if the sword became one with his body, no matter how hard Nov tried to pull it out it just wouldn't come out, but that wasn't all...

Nov panicked when he realized he couldn't let go of the sword either, it was then when he noticed the tiny dark tentacles slowly creeping up his weapon and wrapping themselves on his arm, he glared at the monster who smirked at him while his eyes were fixed at something...

Nov looked at where the demon was looking only for his heart to nearly stop in horror
