"What do you mean by "Really"?!" Henry asked, Keeping a solid facade while in reality, his heart was beating in his stomach

"I think I need to explain everything from the start" Eren sighed before looking the human in the eye, "When i was left behind by your hypocrite a.s.s to deal with the sea monsters alone" Henry rolled his eyes at the shadow demon who chuckled at his successful attempt at teasing the human king.

"Okay okay, Seriously now, When i 'WILLINGLY' stayed behind, i've met someone, Estonilla, her name was, she was a banned second generation Goddess, I was able to absorb her soul and blood, and her memories, and No, trust me, you don't want to know How, and Yes, that is why i look the way i do know" Eren answered the questions Henry had in mind, hoping he will not insist on knowing what happened between him and that woman, it was something he planned to never mention to a living soul in hopes of forgetting it after sometime.

"So, the invisible thing that was attacking you inside the castle, His name was Nov, a second generation God, there are twenty generation Gods, They are pretty much vessels to what remains of the creation energy that the first generation Gods couldn't contain, Before you and the army barged into the castle, he had killed all of the second generation Gods, I'm presume he did it to take their own energy although i wonder how did he plan to sustain it, The shrine is where the creation energy acc.u.mulates, the Gods connected themselves to it so when a God dies, his or her energy goes back to the shrine to be purified before it divides on the Gods, luckily, you interrupted that process by barging in, after that i fought him while the army broke the shrine"

"What happened to him after, Did he escape?!" Henry asked, not liking where the story was leading

"More like slipped right out of my clutch, i had him fixed to the ground but in the split of a second when i was blinded by the release of the energy, he was gone..." Eren's fists tightened, still not understanding how did that bastard run away, if felt as if he just became thin air and disappeared, and the shadow lord didn't want to assume he was dead and regret it later...

"What about the first generation Gods" Henry asked, worry now evident on his face, wondering if what they had could be considered as a victory at all.

"Well, we know Historia is dead, Another God named Sfen left the center few weeks after her death, and the remaining two, To be honest i have no idea, i just know they were not in the center when we got there"Eren said frowning before sighing and starting to remove his clothes

"Could this even be considered as victory?! We lost so many good soldiers, for literally NOTHING!" Henry slammed his angered fist on the wooden railing

"Yes it does" Eren answered calmly, "Maybe we still didn't win the war but we are certainly victorious, You see, nearly half of the creation energy was spilled and cannot be restored, that means the curse was lifted over demons, we can live normally and walk normally, anywhere, we don't need to feed on souls anymore, and even our blood thirst had significantly decreased, we still need it though, but not as much, it means your people are no longer endangered by mine, we can finally have peace among ourselves, there are not much Gods to absorb our life energy anymore so we have our chances in a longer life, The creation energy would block the dark one, the death one, The world will actually be a better place, As for the rest of the Gods.. Well, we will simply deal with them once they show their faces, Plus, you got yourself a lovely girl who is in the process of waking up in this verymoment, What else can you ask for?!"

Eren said while discarding his clothes only to see Henry shielding his eyes with utter disgust..

"Not again" Henry said to a shape shifting Eren who spread his wings...

"Are you going somewhere?!"

"Yes, There is something i need to check, Don't worry about finding any obstacles on your way, just 'Enjoy' your trip back home, I will visit you in your castle once you are there"

"One last question" Eren turned to the human king wondering what his question was

"You are a hybrid right?!" Eren nodded "Half human, Half demon, and now with the blood and sould of a Goddess, what does that makes you?!"

"I have no idea" sighed Ere before turning to leave.

"No Goodbye hug?!" Henry smirked at Eren who growled at him before flying away, Henry stared at the flying monster until he disappeared before heading back to his room

The beautiful girl with brown curls tried to open her red eyes, she had been lost for the past, she tried to think but didn't know, it felt that she was gone for ever, her body felt as if it was floating for so long, tired and numb before the heavy pull of consciousness started dragging her out of safety and into the pain that caused her to burst out and nearly die, she didn't want to wake up but the more she resisted the stronger it became, she didn't want to go back, it hurts back there, hurts so much, Tears fled her closed eyes that struggled to open up...

"My love..."

The voice was distant at first became closer and clearer, A delicious fealing on her hair and cheek, as if she was being c.a.r.e.s.sed lovingly

"Open your eyes..."

Rima obeyed the familiar voice, feeling the love and miss in it, the logging and need, Her eyes finally opening up perfectly with all her consciousness present.

"Henry?!" She whispered, her voice small and tired, she was shivering in cold although she was well tucked under the blankets, Henry who busy c.a.r.e.s.sing her hair and cheeks slowly noticed it and pulled her into his arms, the thin shirt did nothing to keep his body heat from hers, she felt instantly relaxed as the strong arms held her tightly, she was afraid to ask, afraid to know, afraid that once one of them speaks the perfect moment between them would be lost qnd before that happens, she wanted to savor every single second of it...
