Henry's eyes were not as sharp as Eren's, but he could still spot the water irregularities, something was moving under them, but for some reason they were not attacking them, maybe because it was due to the demons trick or what but the sea creatures were somehow, dazed? it made the human king wonder how strong and deceiving the shadows lord was, and to think his own sister was in his claws...

Henry quickly pushed the idea to the back of his mind where it lived so far, she was his sister, even if he only recently knew about her and never met her, they still shared the same blood, the Yoren blood, even if they had no other choice but to use her blood, he just couldn't silence that little little voice in the back of his head, the one filling him with guilt, the one telling him that she, the sister he never met, was innocent of all of this...

The trip so far was quite, peaceful to some point with only few meters left to leave the deadly circle, Henry wanted to ask about her, he believed they will not have any other chance to chat about things, once they are far enough from the sea creatures, they will have to sail full speed to make it to there to the center, not to mention the weird fog Rima had mentioned, and once they make it there and open the gate, if they can, the battle would start directly after it, no matter the results that would come right after, he highly doubted that he can ask him then, so why not now

"What is it? " Eren's question really surprised Henry, did he make it that obvious?

"I want to ask you about something" Henry paused for a second, "someone actually"

"She is dead" Eren's reply was sharp, he did expect this question but did this stupid human had to ask it now while he had to keep his focus at it peak to leave the deadly circle unscratched?

"How? "

"I killed her"

"wasn't there any other way? "

"No"

"How was she like? "

"Why the f.u.c.k do you ask?" Eren finally snapped, his anger clouding his red eyes "Are you trying to tell me that some non-existing brother feelings just came to settle in your heart? just now, i believe you had sixteen years to do that, oh wait you did, you plotted to kill her"

Henry was left dumbfounded with Eren's violent reaction, even though his voice was not louder than a whisper the anger that clouded his eyes was like a raging flame, why was he angry? after all he killed the girl, his sister, if anyone had the right to be angry then it should be him not the other way around...

Ready to retort back, they were both dragged out of their concentration by the scared screams coming from some of the last sh.i.p.s...
