That’s right. We’ve defeated the golem, so let’s take a look at my newest status.

Anyway, have I learned another magic?

[No Attribute] Stealth Circle

Oooh. I learned a no attribute magic!

Hmm, what is it?

Stealth Circle… Draw a magic circle that’s invisible on the ground or other surface.

In other words, I guess I’d be able to place traps on the ground with this?

Is there any detailed explanation of it…? There it is!

When I tapped it once more, more details appeared.

“Can only be used during battle? Grant an effect to the magic circle?”

I wonder what does it mean by granting effect to the magic circle that can only be used during a battle?

At that time, another semi-transparent window appeared.

▽ A quest has appeared.

▽Let’s use Stealth Circle!

You’ve learned the no attribute magic. Draw Stealth Circle on the ground and put another magic on top of it!

▽Reward for quest clearance: Coat of Spider’s Thread (Spider Web Coat)

▽ Would you like to accept the quest?

▽ ▽

Yes No

Ooh.

Since this is a ‘Let’s Try!’ kind-of a quest, there’s no penalty even if I fail, huh?

If that’s the case, let’s just accept the quest without hesitation! Let’s accept the quest!

I didn’t really understand the part where I had to put a magic, but this quest’s clear reward would be [Spider Web Coat], so I wonder if it’d be alright to put that?

Judging from its name, it seemed to be a trap that had an effect of stopping the enemy’s movements by placing a spider’s web. When fighting a stronger enemy, being able to stop their movement even for a little bit would be advantageous in a battle.

Let’s try out this magic before fighting a tough enemy!

The town mayor and his underlings who were in the Adventurer Guild’s prison were taken to the town where the feudal lord, Viscount Willard, resided in by the knights who had finally arrived after being contacted.

This was a fact that we discovered later on, but the first child that went missing, Thomas, went inside the dried well to play one day and was the first child to discover the magic crystals.

The town mayor discovered it by chance when Thomas went to show off the pretty stones to everyone, and that was how he came to know that there were magic crystals deep inside the dried well.

The town mayor then kidnapped Thomas to keep his mouth shut, and locked him in a corner of the quarry, forcing him to harvest the magic crystals.

But Thomas alone couldn’t harvest that many of the crystals, so the other church’s children were kidnapped as well.

It seemed that Thomas’ father received money from the town mayor and lied about them going to a relative’s house while in actuality, he used the money to go drinking at Luida-san’s tavern. Thomas’ mother seemed to be furious upon knowing this. …But that’s obvious.

At any rate, I was glad that the case was solved.

And I got to become friends with Maa-kun too!
