"Welcome home, Nor."

"Oh my God, I'm really tired today!"

When I saw Misha waiting for me in my room, I instantly felt the strength leave my body.

She is waiting for me to return home, getting her routine in order. Maybe it's because she told me so before. When I look at her, I feel relaxed, or rather, at ease.

I dive into bed---remembering how dirty I am with sweat and all, and change the place I fall into to a chair just before I get there. I plopped down on it and looked up at the ceiling in a daze.

'Was it that hard?'

'Yes, it was. Well, a martial arts tournament is an event to determine the top of a certain age group, so it's only natural that the opponents are strong and that it's hard work. But this year's competition was much tougher than in previous years."

'I see. Did you have any injuries?"

'Yes, not particularly. Saras and the others made it through without incident.'

'I'm glad to hear that.'

Misha smiled with a reassuring smile, but then tilted her head to see if there was something in this conversation that caught her off guard.

"Saras? Did you change the way you call her ?"

"Oh, that's the thing..."

I started calling him Saras only today, and Misha doesn't know anything about it.

I told her why I started calling Saraswati by her nickname and how I became friends with Raymond in addition to that.

"I see. So you made a new friend."

'Well, something like that."

Her eyes narrowed and she looked really happy.

I wonder if she's happy that I'm doing things that are appropriate for my age, given that I've been fighting so many battles.

 Ummm. I feel so guilty.

Not only is it appropriate for my age, but I'm about to get into an even more intense battle.

"Do you think you will get along with . Raymond?"

"Yes, I do. I felt that we are on the same wavelength just by talking today, and above all..."

"Above all "

"No, well, I don't know how to put it this in word , but neither he nor I have many friends, so I have a sense that we will be a good friends "

That's just a bunch of gibberish.

I was actually going to say, "Because we are both spearmen," but I was too busy chatting with Misha to say anything.

"Nor is a kind and honest boy, and I'm sure you' ll make a lot of friends from now on."

"I don't know. Well, maybe if you go to school."

"You're not planning to go?"

"If I asked him, he might let me go, but I think it would be a waste of time. I don't feel like learning the fundamentals at this point."

"Would you be stronger if you trained here?"

'The equipment here is the best in the country. If I contact Almire through Schneizel, there will be no lack of training in magic."

"But I still think the school is important."

Apparently, Misha wants me to go to school.

I'm not going to be able to go to school, but I'm going to have to keep up with other people around me,

I think it's the perfect environment for Misha, who is always thinking about my well-being first and foremost.

'And, you know, I don't think the way to get stronger is just to work out."

'Human networking?"

"You are the best. It was guessed before I did. You are right. My family was an aristocratic family that imitated business, so I have a little understanding of the way of thinking in that area. You can't build a trusting relationship in a hurry. It takes a long time to build a stronger bond."

Hmmm. Well, she has a point, but it's not like I haven't been considering it, too.

Misha may be trying to say that long-standing affection becomes a trusting relationship, but I don't think that's necessarily the top priority for me.

Of course, I suppose I need people like Saraswati and Lucy to help me out. They've saved my life many times.

But it's not impure to have a relationship that is based more on calculation, profit, or exchange than on trust.

I think there is a stability in such a relationship that cannot be compared to that of ordinary affection, because the ability and results are directly related to trust.

But, well, considering what happened to Raymond today, maybe it's somewhat true.

If, for example, special exceptions are allowed, such as not having to attend classes that aren't too worth taking, or being basically free to do as one pleases.

---Wow, there is an example of what is permitted.

The student council of the Royal Military Academy of Arcadia is an entity that has been given some degree of independence and authority. If I can be a member of it, or ------, how many years later is that?

You can't belong to that school until you're at least ten years old.

There are too many immediate things that need more attention than that. Stop, stop, stop. It's not the priority. I'll think about it eventually, but not now.

'If you ever want to go to school, just let me know."

I wonder what she's going to do about school fees and such.

I wonder if Misha is going to pay for it.

"I understand."

'It's not just about school, you know. If there is anything else you want to do or want, please let me know. and I will do my best to help you."

"I'll do whatever I can to help you. I mean, I haven't done anything for you."

"I It's okay, I just like to do things for you."

she said that and smiled looked very beautiful.

A little later, Schneizel came to visit me in my room.

"What is it?"

'I wanted to make sure you have the whole of tomorrow afternoon free."

'Well, I can clear my schedule. What's the matter? Did Almire say something?"

"No , you was called "

"   me?"

Schneizel, with a smirk and a dapper smile, pulled out an envelope from his pocket with an air of sassiness.

"Me, the boy, Saras and Lucy are going to a dinner party at the royal castle.'

The moment I heard this, I looked up and stormed over to Schneizel as if bursting with energy.

"That's it! Her Royal Highness Princess Crescencia is also coming?"

'Oh, , she's coming. , so calm down, you fool".

"I'm so glad I made it through the qualifying round"

My first impression was terrible, but here's my chance to make up for it!

I'm going to make a good impression this time for sure!
