Vergil In Another World

I was stumped and lost for words when she asked me with that.

"Why me? There's Lelouch or Rivalz right?" Milly turned red for a bit before regaining her composure.

"Lelouch is for Shirley and Rivalz... nevermind." She said

'Ouch, that's harsh. I pray for the soul of Rivalz.' I thought

I hesitated at her favor.

"Milly, you do know that I'm engaged right?" I asked her and showed her my ring, though I'm engaged with many.

Seeing the ring, Milly got sad but soon got over it as she said.

"Its just for appearance. Grandfather keeps on bothering me to bring a partner or they'll find a fiancee for me, also can you dance? It would be great if you do. Help me please." She said to me.

Seeing her sincere expression, I nodded. She then called for a maid as she asked the maid for me to wear a formal suit as the maid helped me in changing.

When I came out wearing a formal suit, Milly was stunned when she saw me wearing a suit for the first time and can't help but blush. Clothes make the man, after all.

I immediately played my role as I invited Milly with my arm held towards Milly as she wrapped hers to my arm. We then walked to the hall and as the granddaughter of Principal Ashford, all eyes were on us. Milly looked at me if I am overwhelmed by it but seeing no changes on my face, she seemed to sigh in relief and I smiled at her and she did the same.

She then lead me towards the 2nd floor and stopped in front of an old man. Milly separated from me as she hugged her grandfather.

"Milly, it seems you've brought back a boyfriend. Care to introduce him for me?" He said as Milly blushed.

"Grandfather, his name is Vergil. Although we've just met for a few weeks, its love at first sight, I tell you." Milly said and as a grandfather, how could he not know what her granddaughter is planning but he decided to go along with him. He can also see that I am not a simple man at all with his experience and the aura that Vergil is emitting, I am not your average person.

"So, young man, care to tell me, how and why did you fall for my granddaughter?" He asked me with seriousness in his eyes, but why would I falter? I've faced a God, Stood in front of Ophis, beaten by my cheat of a father. A simple seriousness wouldn't move me like that.

"Well, Milly can be called a cat due to her curiosity and her playfulness, although her methods are somewhat... forceful, she still cares deeply for those around her." I said to him as he laughed lightly.

"You do know that we're a noble family right?" He asked me.

"So? You'd shun me to sell Milly to other nobles just to return to your former glory?" The atmosphere got tense as Milly was surprised and nervous at me answering towards his grandfather.

"I like you, young man. But the road will be tough, can you still hold on to Milly in her tough times?" He asked me.

I simply nodded. If I wanted to I could make them a duke by telling Charles about it, but why would I? I'm sure Lelouch would abolish aristocracy when he took over his father.

"Then can you and Milly have a kiss to seal the deal?" It stumped me and Milly, I never knew her grandfather would be this smart, what a schemer.

I was about to tell Milly to wait but Milly already smacked my lips.

"You do know that you can just kiss me on tje cheeks right?" I said to Milly as she saw her Grandfather's grin.

A smooth song then played out as I invited Milly to a dance as she held my hand and we went downstairs and had a blast. She never knew I would be that good in dancing. All eyes are staring towards us. Nina, Shirley, Lelouch, and Rivalz also saw us dance in the middle of the floor. When we finished, claps resounded on the hall as we bowed and took of the dance hall and went towards Lelouch and co.

"Whoa, I never knew you were so good in dancing." Shirley praised as she glanced towards Lelouch.

"Lelouch, aren't you going to invite Shirley?" Milly teased the two.

Lelouch gave up and asked Shirley to a dance and they took off. While we were chatting, someone interrupted us and asked for Milly's hand to dance. It is Gino Weiberg, a noble descent. Milly declined his invitation, but with Gino's friendly and positive attitude, he slung his arm over me.

"You really did a good job in dancing back there and I wanted to try and dance with Ms. Milly as well, unfortunately she declined. Haha, how lucky of you." He said as I smiled at him, soon Gino came and ask others to dance with him.

"Never knew you would decline him?" I said as I glanced at Milly. Her family wanted to regain their former glory and Gino who is an outstanding knight and a noble descent is perfect for it. For her to decline him, surprised me.

"What can I say? My partner is beside me, how could I accept other's invitation." She said in a playful voice.

I laughed at her and we talked about a lot of things, including my engagement. When she heard me that I'm engaged to many woman, her world seemed to stop before hope started shining in her eyes. With her unpredictable attitude, she immediately confessed to me which surprised me.

I told her to think about it first as it is her future but she retorted.

"When I first met you, I thought that you are just a typical transfer student. When I saw your application form, I saw that you are an MIT student and was intrigued about why an MIT student would come to our school. I then tried to use my families' connection to find out more about you, but there are so many things that just didn't add up and got more curious. And the more I knew about you, your personality, your attitude, how dedicated you are towards helping Student Council, that curiosity morphed into something more... deeper, and that's how I learned that I fell." She said as I laughed lightly.

"A woman's curiosity really is a bad sign huh?" I said as Milly pinched my waist.

"See? You're not even denying it." I said as we both laughed as the night quietly passed by.

Just to be clear 'kay? My version of CG is different. Waaaaay different. It will only involve Britannia, because there are entities that could wipe out Britannia.

As for Milly's engagement to Lloyd, I changed that to Nina Einstein because Milly's engagement to Lloyd was purely for the status. But if I paired up Lloyd and Nina, what they would create can work wonders.
