Versatile: Alternate World

The palace is still guarded by NPCs but this time, a few of the players who arrived in the Sandurk are wandering around the corridors looking for the right way. They keep on running back and forth and checking doors and other stuff. Still, they still disregard NPCs, what an idiot, they don't have manners to ask for direction, these NPCs will tell them anyway.

Dolly and I returned to the hallway where we just got and once again saw Leto sitting on her chair where she sat earlier currently sipping tea but now she is sharpening her dagger. When she saw us, she smiled charmingly and put the dagger down.

"I can smell the hundreds of Demonic Spawns' death auras from your weapons which really means that you two managed to kill the required amount to pass the test," Leto begins.

"Test?" Dolly had her ears perked up.

"Yeah, I am testing if you, warriors of Resurgia are enough to face stronger enemies but who would have thought that you two are indeed capable on facing a monster from hell. Well then, you two pass the test that I have given. Congratulations!" Leto said and after she proclaimed that, the panels on our quests appeared on our faces.

Quest Cleared!

Leto did not let us celebrate for our rewards for long since she begins to issue another quest.

"One of my trusted warrior went to track and monitor one of the demon generals that summoned the monster was captured and sent for a help signal. We tried sending a few help but not a single soldier managed to survive. We hope you can attack and rescue my trusted warrior out," Leto said before anther panel appeared. This time, its a timed Quest.

"Knights of the Advent" 3/10

Difficulty: Very Difficult

Time before the Knight is killed: 1 hour and 30 minutes left

Description: A female Knight that is one of the trusted attendees of Leto is captured by a Demon General and where now being almost played by demonic beings. Save her from the atrocities.

The SOS signal came from the Sandy Oasis.

Special: Quest failure if the Knight died and you won't get the reward.

Reward:

Successfully rescued from being molested: 100 AP, 100 SP

Normal Reward:

10,000 gold

10,000 EXP.

"Let's go then," I said to Dolly then turned to Leto.

"Can we use the balcony?" I asked.

"Huh? What for?" Leto asked.

"Thanks!" I did not answer her question and just grab Dolly on and princess carry her before leaping into the balcony.

"Aaahhh! Put me down! What the hell are you doing..... aaaaahhhhhhh!!!"

Her scream resounded when we fall but then we are caught by a big bird and of course it was Leona. Leto was stunned speechless that the teacup on her hands fell into the floor.

"A Gryphon..." Leto murmured as she looked into the Leona who is flapping her wings away from her.

Alternate World has a unique quest system. Unique quests are usually following a series of story and they follow a certain storyline. This quest should be issued to all of us in Pioneers but since we advanced more than the players that has taken the second quest, Phantom Fang might be taking a quest that should have no connection on the current quest Dolly and I are undertaking since they can't accept a quest that has already been accepted and NPCs are not some game NPCs that has no sentient mind, they can think and adapt so she will issue a new quest different than the quest we are undertaking to fill the role.

I already put down Dolly on Leona's back but she is still pouting.

"You pervert, you suddenly grab someone out and then carry her in princess carry! Too should ask permission first!" Dolly pouted.

"Really? Well, it doesn't matter, we had to keep up and reach the quest so that the reward is not forfeited," I answered as I look into the digital map.

"Ugh, its useless talking to a dumb guy like you. No wonder no girl managed to tame that heart of yours! Your pretty dense!" Dolly pouted again.

"Uh... I don't really know what you are talking about..." I I said to her but focused on the time countdown that the quest panel is giving out.

"... A real idiot indeed," Dolly sighed in resignation.

From what I can remember, Sandy Oasis is somewhere where Sandy Mud Crabs naturally spawn. They are a good food ingredient since they drop crab parts that can be cooked in the game and actually tastes good. However, this should be different. Demonic Beings might be the enemy we will be facing here if we are on a quest so the thought of having Sandy Mud Crabs are postponed. I will hunt them once the quest is done.

The only problem I am facing is the level and strength of the boss that we will be facing. It was quite obvious that we will be facing against a Demon general on this case. In fact, this would really be the quest that would be hard to finish.

As Leona flap her wings, I then noticed the familiar scenery that I have seen in the past. The Sandy Oasis. Its only a few minutes since we departed from the Dark Elf Kingdom so we still have a big chance of rescuing the target. As long as she is not molested she is fine and we will ensure the AP and SP.
