Villain Cultivator

Chapter 243 - Troublemakers

Chapter 243 '“ TroublemakersÂ

Cao Mao strolled around the city, looking for a good place for the item in his hand.Â

In Cao Mao's right hand was the immortal-grade goblet, which could continuously produce any fluid as long as its grade was under the immortal realm.Â

He didn't have to look far. At the west of the pylon tower, Jia Wenhe and Ju Shoufen had already dug a pool to serve as their mini water reservoir for future usage for every family. Several waterways and a drainage system had already been made by the two elders as well.

The water inside the pool came from the mysterious rain, made by the incomplete tower. Just by standing near the pool, Cao Mao could feel that his Qi and Essence increased every time he inhaled.Â

Still, the pool was inferior to the diluted liquid that Cao Mao had.Â

Cao Mao opened the goblet cover and drop the diluted liquid of Unified Elemental Vein Pill in the cup!

The "Holy Grail" shone in golden light as it began memorizing the characteristic of the diluted liquid. Three seconds later, the clear water in the goblet multiplied.Â

Soon, the cup in Cao Mao's hand was filled with water. It started leaking the content as if it had become a fountain.Â

Cao Mao stomped his right foot and injected his wood Qi into the ground. A fat bamboo tree appeared and shot up from the center of the reservoir pool.Â

The top of the bamboo changed shape into a small plate, which could lock the bottom of Cao Mao's goblet in place. Cao Mao directed the cup in his hand toward the bamboo and embedded it into the plate.Â

The goblet started pumping more diluted liquid after Cao Mao locked in inside the bamboo. It became an official fountain in the middle of the reservoir.Â

Seeing the effect of the goblet, Cao Mao was satisfied. He turned around.Â

Ju Shoufen and Jia Wenhe had been following Cao Mao around after he had gotten out of the mansion since the latter had asked them to help him create another array. They looked at the goblet in confusion.Â

"What is that? Why does it keep producing water?" Jia Wenhe was curious.Â

"Ah, that will be the second lifeline of our city from now on. It will continuously produce medicinal water that can be used to heal injuries and increase one's affinity of every basic element."

"Huh!?"

Ju Shoufen walked on top of the water to observe the goblet up close. Then, she scooped a handful of diluted liquid, which had overflown from the cup.Â

As soon as Ju Shoufen had taken a sip, she had realized Cao Mao's intention.Â

"Is this a treasure from the auction?"

"Yeah. I haven't told you, but yeah. It's from the auction event."

Cao Mao explained the effect that this goblet would give them. Also, he told them about the deals he had with the beast girls.Â

Ju Shoufen and Jia Wenhe approved this decision since they needed extra manpower to defend this city from the orcs and other greedy cultivators. Now, with the beastmen and Huangjin Monastery's support, they could establish a fighting force, which could rival the top sects, such as Mountain Goose Sect or Jiangdong White Tiger Sect.Â

As for the water from the cup, they would indeed become the second attraction of the city. If they were to play their cards right, they could establish a new sect or a new force here.

"I like your idea, but the goblet is unprotected. We should hide it or cover it with some illusion arrays or a killing array."

"If better, we should hide it under the pool, so nobody will suspect anything odd. If someone asks us about the excess water in the future, we can just tell them that everything comes from the tower."

"That's true. For now, let's hide the cup. Can we use an earth-type spell and a sealing array to lock it in place?"

"Sure. Let's start."

The alchemist elders didn't like how eye-catching the fountain of medicine water was. They discussed how they could hide the goblet from public eyes or set up an array.Â

A minute later after the two alchemists had brainstormed, they cast a spell, which pulled the bamboo under the water along with the goblet.Â

Once the goblet was at the bottom of the reservoir, the elders began reconstructing the waterways and drainage systems by manipulating the water, soil, bricks, rocks, and dirt with their Qi.Â

Cao Mao gazed at the spectacular sight as water droplets floated in the air along with random rocks and piles of dirt. He touched one of the floating rocks, and it moved away slightly upon the touch.Â

"Brat. If you have nothing to do, go cultivation or practice whatever technique you're using. You're getting in the way."

"Err, okay'¦"

The elders chased Cao Mao away since there was nothing he could do to help them at the moment.Â

Cao Mao was relieved. Now that he had set up everything, it was the time for him to eat some of his pills and reap some quest rewards from Kunwu.Â

Unfortunately, Kunwu and the system hadn't confirmed the completion of the quest yet. Cao Mao wondered how Jia Shan was doing with the divine pill.Â

Suddenly, Cao Mao sensed that he was being watched. He turned toward the north wall, where he had sensed the pair of eyes that had been watching him.Â

Their eyes met, but the guy on top of the wall flew away.Â

Cao Mao's face turned ugly. His heart skipped several beats as he had a bad feeling about the snooper.Â

'I don't have the time to play around. There's the matter about the orc army. And now, that guy might have seen my [Holy Grail].'

Cao Mao took a deep breath. He strode toward the yin slave mansion as he needed a place to enter closed-door training. Wei Yuan's house, aka his house, was destroyed because of the hearts of divine beasts, so he needed a new shelter ASAP.Â

'Shit. I need to build a new house, too. But I should deal with the orcs first before I can rebuild my house.'

"Phew, those orcs are scary. I thought that we would have been caught for sure."

Niu Fu wiped his sweat after he and his mentor managed to escape from the orc patrol unit, whom they had accidentally met on their way to Siren City.

Li Jue, the masked old man, was also nervous. His white robes had been drenched in sweat. Although he was confident that he could defeat any 5th-stage orc, he was afraid of the captain of the scout team, who could defend against his semen element spells.Â

Yet, the old man grinned. He had killed one of the orcs and kept its corpse in his spatial ring. He had planned to extract the bloodline core from this corpse, so he could inherit the vitality traits and its racial abilities.Â

"It was a close call, but it was a fortuitous encounter. We have an orc's corpse now."

"So, are you going to extract its bloodline or turn it into a pill?"

"Of course!"

"Then, can I have that?"

"Brat! Your master has worked his ass off for this corpse, but you've done nothing but running away! If you want it, you'd better get stronger and contribute to the hunt!"

"'¦ Meh."

As the villainous duo had been chatting, they arrived at the Siren City's external walls.Â

Outside the walls, many cultivators, who didn't participate in the auction, were still sitting cross-legged, cultivating in earnest. Most of them were weak 3th-stage and 4th-stage experts, who had given up joining the auction. As for the others, including 6th-stage experts, they had gone to Xuan City, but they never returned.Â

Li Jue looked around and counted the number of people here. Then, he gazed at the city gate, which had been guarded by a foundation establishment expert.Â

"Let's take over this place, shall we?"

Niu Fu repeatedly shook his head, "I'm not stupid. Look at my current strength! What can I do against these people? I'll die within 10 seconds after the fight breaks out."

"Hmm. True. Well, since you're useless, stay back and watch from afar. I'll take care of everybody here."

Niu Fu grinned. He walked away from the city and his master, so he could observe the chaos from afar.Â

As for Li Jue, he ignored the people outside the city and leaped over the wall. However, the dark barrier, which hid the interior of the city, pushed him back. It also zapped him, making his hands numb.Â

"A defensive array? Wait, a killing array, too!?"

Li Jue sensed the energy on the surface of the unknown barrier. He took a step back as he didn't want to accidentally activate its defensive mechanism.Â

His decision was correct. The barrier dimmed after he had withdrawn his killing intent.Â

Yet, Li Jue refused to give up. He brought out a talisman from his spatial ring and put it on the array surface.Â

It was a low-grade snooping talisman, which was commonly used to see through walls, doors, or barricades. But now, he used it to cancel the illusion array that had covered the entire city.Â

The dark barrier opened a finger-sized peephole for Li Jue. The latter stared into the hole, taking a peek to see the interior of the city.Â

His eyesight was sharp as he could see pores in someone's skin a kilometer away with naked eyes. He found several experts and three children gathering near the center of the city, where the giant pylon tower had been in the middle of 3D-printing.Â

Yet, Li Jue couldn't see many people in there. He kept looking around to see whether it was worth attacking this place.Â

Then, he found Ju Shoufen, the only legal loli, who had been staying outside after the pill-making incident.Â

As Ju Shoufen's current appearance was similar to a young maiden who had just reached puberty age, Li Jue was attracted to her. Moreover, the charm of a small girl, who had been given plenty of love by mysterious Qi and the supreme seed of Cao Mao, seemed sparkling in the eyes of the perverted old man.Â

Ju Shoufen was with two other men, who seemed to be busy doing something next to a mysterious water pool with a fountain.Â

"Hmm."

Since Li Jue couldn't evaluate the Qi and the Essence of the people, he believed that they might be weaker than they had looked.Â

Suddenly, one of the guys turned around to look in his direction.

Cao Mao's eyes met with Li Jue's eyes. The latter stopped snooping and jumped away from the wall by reflex.Â

Li Jue flew away. He returned to Niu Fu's side without provoking anyone. Yet, nobody had noticed his sneer under his mask.Â

Niu Fu looked at his mentor with a deep frown, "I thought you were going to kill everyone including the people in the city."

"I think I saw something odd in the city, but it might be my imagination'¦ Anyway, I've found a good maiden in there."

"Really!?" Niu Fu was excited. "But why haven't you killed these people yet?"

"Relax. I have a better idea. Instead of attacking the city blindly, it's better to use our natural resources to the fullest."

Li Jue turned toward the north, where they had escaped from, "Let's attract those demons here and have them raid the city for us."

"Won't it be better if we attack the city ourselves? Won't the orcs get all the goodies and plunder?"

"Nah. Let's stay back and watch the situation first. If the orcs can easily overwhelm the people inside the city, that will be my mistake. But if they can fight on equal ground, we'll jump into the battle and kill more orcs. Then, we'll kill the people inside the city when they let their guards down."

"Oh! You're evil, master!"

"Hmm! That's just common sense!"

"But, what if the people inside the city can defeat the orcs?"

"Impossible. I didn't see an army in the city. At best, they might have a couple 6th-stage cultivators as guardians. As for the rest of the people, they might be at your peers."

"Oh!"

The duo laughed as they walked away from the city. They traveled north, heading toward the orc camp.Â
