Walking The Jiang Hu

"Yip An!", said a voice from behind Yip An's front door.

"Guy's! Quickly hide!" Whispered Yip An as he consumed the grand master's souls into his bodies.

"What's taking you so long?" questioned the lady from behind the door. As Yip an approached the door you could smell a strong fragrance from the door. One that was quite alluring at that.

As Yip An opened the door a beautiful lady was in front of him!

"Who are you?" questioned Yip An cluelessly.

"What do you think you buffoon!", screamed the lady.

"*gasp" You're Feng Qing!" Why would Fen Qing be so finely dressed?

"Come with me brat i'll explain on the way", as Fen Qing pulled out a witch's cap from thin air she placed it on Yip An's head and they both flew into the sky towards the main mountain peak.

As both Feng Qing and Yip An came closer the the mountain peak you could see an insanely pure aura leak blow into Yip An's face.

Yip An felt bliss and a wave of qi c.a.r.e.s.sed his body like a little baby boy.

Further in the distance was a colossal arena with many smaller fighting areas within them.

As he and Feng Qing landed in front of the arena there was a huge crowd that had people in the thousands! The crowd funneled into the arena and Yip An took a seat while Feng Qing could be seen walking to an area with only elders and the such.

In the arena was a platform hat was directly in the middle of the whole arena with one wrinkly old man. This was the current Nine Paths One Truth sect leader, Jian Yi. The only nascent soul cultivator within the sect. The wrinkly old man then stood up and quickly cleared his throat.

"Young disciples today is the 445th annual shining star competition. This year is quite exceptional this year. There are many talents within this arena and i'm expecting a lot from this year's batch.Whoever get's into the top one percent will then will move on to competing in the Yearly Conqueror competition. And as of right now the Shining Star competition has now begun!

Shortly after many people could be seen with nervous faces and much worry.

Wait! Yip An had all of a sudden been dragged into a competition by his dumb supervisor!

Yip An swore to get payback on her. Acting Some were flirting with each other and some were just looking blankly at the arena.

As you looked around you could see many people doing different things and some were even meditating.

Suddenly two names were called up.

"Kong Yuhan and Ding Wuying can you please come up to platform 4!", as that was said a person near Yip An stood up and walked to a platform with a nervous look. Everybody here was either 13 or 14, They were all very young. That meant some of them were sure to be nervous.

As they both met on the platform they both a had a little quarrel.

"So it'a you huh?", said Kong Yuhan as he confidently pointed his dagger at Ding Wuying.

Ding Wuying didn't say anything as he stood there with his fists closed.

Kong Yuhan then spat on the ground in fornt of Ding Wuying and then the match begun.

Kong Yuhan immediately dashed towards Ding Wuying as he sliced towards him with his dagger. However, his body then distorted and turned into a cloud while you could see Ding Wuying appear behind Kong Yuhan.

"You Little!", screamed Kong Yuhan.

After that it was a game of Cat and mouse however, Ding Wuying cold be seen chanting while he kept disappearing and reappearing. Eventually he came to a stop and

a small black fire came into Ding Wuying's hand. He then looked at Kong Yuhan. He then gently flicked the flame at him. Kong Yuhan thought nothing of the little black flame and kept charging forward. Kong Yuhan's then activated his Dragon's might technique. His body then grew taller and more masculine ans he had yellow stripes on his body. He then smashed towards Ding Wuying's with a massive amount of might. However, as Kong Yuhan's body came into contact with the black flame floating towards him he limped out of the sky and landed face head on the ground unconscious. Ding Wuying then sighed with relief as he left the stage.

Everybody was left with shock. Expect the elders and Jian Yi. What was the power of that dark flame? Yip An had a moment of surprise but smirked. If that were his flame he could burn anything to dust. Just like he killed that army of Valkyries. Most flames at a low level in cultivation were very powerful. However in the later stages you become so strong that your body is basically immune to low level fires. If u want to buy a phantom level fire. These type of fires are so sought after for that people never bring out such fires unless there life is in danger. As if word gets out that a certain person has a phantom level fire then that person will be hunted down like a fox. Even if you want to use a high level fire you must have another high level fire controlling technique to use it. And if you don't then it's useless.

Shortly after the initial first fight a series of fights broke out on the multiple stages. Some were filled of surprises and some were action packed making the ground shake. However, soon it was time for Yip An's turn.

"Yip An and Ran Juh can you both come to stage 1", announced the man next to Jian Yi as he was flipping through a book he was reading.

Yip An came to the stage and felt multiple eyes and gazes on his body. He felt vulnerable and exposed. As Yip An looked at his opponent it was a small young scruffy kid that looked like he was in poverty. He was very, you could say small. He was at least 1 head taller than Ran Juh. Ran Juh had messy hair and a brown robe. It was like he just woke up. Yip An wasn't going to get c.o.c.ky but he felt a weird aura from him. Yip An was level 9 Qi condensation meanwhile the other kid was level 10 Qi condensation. Most of the disciples here ranged from Qi condensation 9-12. Yip An wasn't looking good in the whole big picture.

Yip An talked to the five great masters in his c.h.e.s.t for advice.

"What do you guys think of him", Thought Yip An.

"We have no comments kid. We'll give you advice when a real challenge presents itself. We ain't your babysitter!", Lectured Ling Hong.

But before anything else the referee came onto the stage.

"Now i don't want any major injuries here. Okay! This is just a competition. When you fight each other make sure to take pointers from each other so that you both grow stronger and learn better cultivation and martial art. Now may the match begin!" announced the referee.

Ran Juh immediately started chanting without reserve and you could see Ran Juh's muscles expanding and him gaining height. Yip An let him change his form as he wanted to see his true power. While Ran Juh was transforming you could see Yip An chanting something as a circle of fire formed around him. This fire was crimson in fir and was like a warm comfortable blanket around him. This circle of fire quickly gained height and Yip An could be seen making wall around him. After both of Ran Juh's and Yip An's preparation's they both clashed. Ran Juh now was a 3m tall colossal monkey. He now resembled the legendary Wukong a bit. He even had a tail. Ran Juh was also very hairy. But he smelt very stinky.

Ran Juh clashed with Yip An as Yip An narrowly dodged Ran Juh's punch. Yip An then commanded the fire to entrap Ran Juh's body. And when you looked at Ran Juh he was burnt black.

Everybody in the arena was in shock. That fire that entrapped him just burnt him like a kebab!He was looking black and he needed medical assistance right now! He had red rashes all over his body. It nwas horrible! What was this fire! This wasn't even exciting. It was just anticlimactic. He would just use his fire to fight and he'd win. that was dumb. Yip An decided after this fight he needed to fight another way because he couldn't use his fist. He had to get a sword or something for his next fight. Or otherwise the author would be stuck just saying Yip An entrapped the person in fire and they died. So not fun!

Yip An stood in amazement at just what had happened.
