After the game ended, the eight part-time workers were mobilized, and it took nearly two hours for them to clean up the large debris around the stadium.

When they returned to the rest area, everyone was exhausted. Two of the part-time workers were actually fans themselves and had some understanding of the work conditions. They were mentally prepared before coming, but when they saw the “liquid waste” in person, they were just as disgusted as Su Bin.

One of the part-time workers had a severe physiological aversion to vomit and was still pale and unable to speak.

“Oh my god, I will never throw things into the field during a game again…” one of the fan part-timers sighed. “I used to think it was exciting and passionate to throw things like others, but now I realize how pitiful the garbage collectors are. It’s like being in an aerial combat zone!”

Su Bin slumped on the sofa and didn’t feel like moving. It wasn’t that picking up trash was physically exhausting, but the mental fatigue caused by all kinds of garbage was indescribable.

One of the colleagues next to him started sharing a story he had heard about an employee who was hit by a bag of urine while picking up trash… How refreshing!

Everyone: “…”

The pale-faced colleague immediately rushed to the restroom and vomited upon hearing that. The others made a mournful expression and then the same colleague said, “In such situations, the stadium seems to provide compensation. I heard that the compensation and cleaning fee received by that person were even higher than the part-time wages.”

Even so, Su Bin didn’t want to be bombed by a bag of urine… It was truly terrifying!

One of Su Bin’s teammates asked the colleague, “My teammate and I were hit by a coke bottle earlier. Will there be any compensation for that?”

The colleague replied, “Ask Bill later.”

They rested in the room for about ten minutes when Bill came to settle their wages. It was a total of four hours, calculated at the rate of 10 pounds per hour, and the money would be deposited into their wage cards on the same day.

Su Bin’s teammate mentioned the coke bottle incident, and Bill smiled and asked, “According to the regulations, if you weren’t injured by large debris or hit by certain filth, the stadium won’t provide compensation. However, I personally have the authority to give you some stadium souvenirs as compensation and gratitude. Is that okay?”

Everyone immediately cheered since having something was better than nothing…

The souvenir was a keychain with the stadium logo on it, and a free ticket to a regular game, excluding star team matches like the one this afternoon.

Su Bin didn’t plan to come all the way to watch a game alone, so he gave the ticket to his teammate. In return, his teammate gave him the keychain… As a result, Su Bin ended up with two identical keychains.

The day’s work ended successfully, and Su Bin was about to call Jin Fei when someone patted his shoulder, “Hey!”

Turning his head, he unexpectedly saw someone… he didn’t expect.

“Ha, I knew it was you!” The foreigner who approached him had a bright smile. “Do you remember me? Instant noodles!”

“…Of course,” Su Bin remembered. This person was the blond foreigner he met on his first day in Country B at the hostel. “It’s you!”

Su Bin and the foreigner had an awkward story about “eggs and instant noodles”… It could be told or left untold. The awkward part was that Su Bin treated the foreigner as a stranger initially, so he had long forgotten the guy’s name!

“I’m Taylor Lawrence!” Thankfully, the person introduced himself, then asked Su Bin, “How did you end up picking up trash here?”

“I’m working as a part-timer here,” Su Bin was puzzled why Taylor would know about it. If he saw Su Bin as a spectator, he shouldn’t be here… Noticing the jersey with the team logo that Taylor was wearing, Su Bin hesitantly asked, “Are you a player for the team?”

Taylor shook his head and smiled, “No, I’m from the academy team.”

Su Bin asked, “Academy team? Which team is that?”

Taylor looked at Su Bin helplessly, his face seeming to say, “Are you really a fan? How do you not even know about the academy team?” He briefly explained to Su Bin that the academy team was equivalent to the “youth team.”

Su Bin: “The youth team? Which team is it?”

Su Bin, hearing the word “academy team,” immediately understood. The team Taylor belonged to was the substitute team for M United.

Taylor was selected by M United from his hometown football club to join their academy team for training. If he performed well, there was a good chance he would become an official member of the main team.

It turned out that they had quite a fate. On Su Bin’s first day in Country B, it was also Taylor’s first day in M City. The next morning, Taylor came back from his morning jog and cooked eggs, coincidentally meeting Su Bin who was cooking instant noodles…

Now Su Bin understood why Taylor, as a local, didn’t know about Chinatown back then.

However, Su Bin had heard that members of youth teams were quite young. He looked at Taylor skeptically and couldn’t help but ask, “Taylor, are you not of legal age?”

Taylor didn’t avoid the question and replied straightforwardly, “Yeah, I just turned sixteen this year.”

Su Bin: “…” Orz… This foreigner looks so mature!

As they were talking, Su Bin noticed a group of people wearing the same jersey as Taylor approaching their direction.

One person noticed Taylor talking to a stranger and hurriedly ran up, asking curiously, “Taylor, who’s this kid? Is he your friend?”

Su Bin: Kid… I’m older than all of you! (╯‵□′)╯︵┻━┻

Taylor smiled at his teammate and said, “This is the guy I told you about last time. We met at the youth hostel in M City on my first day. He cooked a pot of noodles for me, and they were delicious!”

Su Bin thought to himself, “I didn’t cook them for you… I cooked them for myself!”

Taylor introduced his teammate to Su Bin, saying, “This is my captain, Antonio.”

“Wow!” Antonio exclaimed upon hearing that. “You’re the legendary noodle cook!”

…Legendary? What kind of wording is that!

Before Su Bin could say anything, the group of players who had been lingering nearby was attracted by Antonio’s exclamation and quickly gathered around Su Bin. They were all tall and well-built athletes, emanating a strong masculine aura. Su Bin, being someone who usually lived in an academic environment, was completely out of their league. Moreover, as an East Asian, he naturally had a smaller build. Now suddenly being surrounded by a group of athletes exuding strong testosterone, each one muscular and robust…

Su Bin instinctively… activated his body’s pilomotor reflex!

But alas, his body hair was not as long as theirs…

The group of players surrounded Su Bin, chattering away:

“Oh? Is this the noodle guy?”

“He looks so small…”

“Taylor, did he come here specifically to find you?”

“What’s your friend’s name, Taylor?”…

Just as they were about to ask more questions, a voice came from a short distance away. “Bin?” Bill happened to walk out and saw Su Bin being surrounded by the academy team. Thinking that he had come to ask for autographs, he sternly asked, “Why haven’t you gone back yet?”

Everyone: “…” His name is Bin? (⊙_⊙)

Su Bin: “I…” was about to leave!

Unfortunately, before he could say that, Taylor waved to Bill and said, “Mr. Bill, I’m Bin’s friend!”

Bill was taken aback for a moment and smiled, “Well, what a coincidence… You guys can chat for a while.” Then Bill turned and left…

Su Bin: QAQ Bill-sama~~! Chottomatte~~!

Taylor enthusiastically said, “Our dorm is nearby. Do you want to come and hang out?”

“I have something to do later!” Su Bin quickly turned to explain to Taylor, “And it’s getting late. I need to go home early…”

“Ah, that’s a pity. I bought some noodles from Chinatown, but no one to cook them…” Taylor showed a disappointed expression. It seemed like he was actually planning to invite Su Bin to “cook noodles”!

Su Bin was a bit puzzled. Cooking instant noodles is such an easy task, why was Taylor holding onto him?

“Well, you can cook them yourself,” Su Bin suggested.

“He did cook them, and they turned out terrible!” Antonio bluntly criticized.

Taylor scratched his head and said, “Do you remember the pack of instant noodles you gave me? I cooked them that night and added three eggs… but the noodles turned soggy, and the broth was very bland. It was completely different from the bowl you cooked that morning…”

“He cooked them twice in the dorm, and each time made me want to throw the pot!” Antonio continued to rub salt in the wound of his teammates.

Su Bin was embarrassed, “You don’t need to add too many eggs, one is enough… and don’t use too much water. Once it boils, put the noodles in and cook for about five minutes.”

Taylor looked at Su Bin with a frustrated expression… as if to say, “It’s too troublesome.”

Su Bin sighed. It made sense. Taylor was only sixteen years old, and these guys were the real… kids.

Taylor brightened up again with his radiant smile, “Bin, let’s exchange contact information! In the future, I’ll invite you to hang out here… Have you met the official players of the team yet? We can arrange for you to chat with them face to face. They’re all big stars!”

His tone was sincere, but his face didn’t hide the fact that he wanted to eat noodles…

“Uh… okay.” Su Bin couldn’t refuse the request of a kid. He gave Taylor his phone number and said goodbye to the group of “extraterrestrial male creatures.”

As Su Bin walked out of the field, he let out a sigh of relief and called Jin Fei on his phone, while thinking… there really is a gap in the aura between people.

“Why did you just finish now?” Jin Fei complained on the phone, “I can’t leave…”.

Su Bin silently cursed “liar” and said helplessly, “Never mind, you do your thing. I’ll take the bus by myself.”

Just as he finished speaking, he heard Jin Fei say, “Hey, wait a minute…” The next second, Su Bin heard Allen’s voice on the phone, “Michael?”

“…Ah? Um…” Su Bin didn’t understand what was going on. How did Jin Fei transfer the call to Allen? Are they together?

“Where are you now?” Allen asked.

Su Bin replied, “I’m at the south gate of Trafford Stadium, near a shop selling jerseys.”

Allen paused for a moment and said, “Stay there, don’t move. I’ll be there in five minutes.”

Su Bin: “…”

It takes at least twenty minutes to drive here from home, so what’s going on?
