Where You Are

Min-Joon let me use his arm as a way to steady myself as we walked. When we reached the ground floor, people's eyes were on me. I looked up at Min-Joon, he didn't seem at all fazed by all the gazes. I'm used to seeing this type of atmosphere in dramas, I always wondered why the female lead felt so uncomfortable with everyone's eyes on her, she was with the most attractive guy in the world, how could she feel uncomfortable?

Now I know why.

Compared to him, I look like shit. Everyone knows him and I'm some foreigner chick he's picking up from the hospital. If this gets out to the media or if Tae-Woo tells Yu-Na, her and Min-Joon's relationship will become more strained than it already is.

"Is it all right, me staying at your home?" I asked him.

"Why, is there a problem?" his reply was a question. I sigh.

"Wouldn't it bother your family or your girlfriend?" I asked.

"My family doesn't live with me, and I don't have a girlfriend" he answered.

When we reached the exit, I saw a fancy black car, and out from the driver's seat came Secretary Chang. He quickly moved to open the door to the back seat. Min-Joon helped me inside and went in, after me. Secretary Chang closed the door then headed back to the driver's seat.

The car started to move but no one talked. Min-Joon looked out the window and Secretary Chang was paying attention to the road. I don't want to mess up in the future, so introductions should be done as quickly as possible.

"What is your name?" I asked Min-Joon. He glances at me.

"Lee Min-Joon and that is my secretary, Chang Young-Soo" Min-Joon answered. Secretary Chang waved. I waved back. Silence came over the car once again. I couldn't help but feel awkward. I'm next to the male lead of my new favorite drama, how can I not have anything to say?

"Thank you" I said.

"Why?" Min-Joon asked.

"Although you said you found me and you feel like you must take responsibility for me, you didn't have to. So, I want to thank you. While in the hospital I was thinking about what I should do, being all alone in this world I don't know. But having company, even though they are complete strangers feels comforting" I said with a sincere smile.

Min-Joon seemed surprised by my honesty. I noticed Secretary Chang looking at me too. I bowed my head "Thank you Lee Min-Joon" I paused and bowed my head once more in Secretary Chang's direction "Thank you Secretary Chang Young-Soo."

Secretary Chang seemed fl.u.s.tered and bowed his head as well.

"Making such a big deal out of this. Such a troublesome person" Min-Joon said to me. But he seemed to be touched by my remark. His reaction was kind of adorable. Such a 'tsundere.'
