White Snow- Princess Li Bai Xue

Chapter 31 - Lin Qian Past Life 6

She didn't know how long she has been sitting there, but she knew that she didn't want to move. His body was cold, but she couldn't believe that he was dead. He had promised to stay by her side always, and she was not about to let him break it.

She was lost in thought until she heard a groan. She looks over and saw Wang Hao Han slowly sitting up. She was glad yet shock that he was dead yet.

"Hao Han!" she shouted in happiness. "Do you remember anything?" He looks at her, and back to himself. He noticed his hair was different, and he ran over to the pond to see his reflection.

"What happened to me? I remember my body was burning then that was it," Wang Hao Han said in confusion.

"I don't know either. You were screaming after you drank a sip from the pond. Your body was so hot that I couldn't even touch you. Then all a sudden, your hair and eye start to turn red, and... and you stop breathing. I thought you were gone, but you suddenly woke up," Lin Qian explained, trying to not recall the memories.

"You have been accepted by the Highly Azure Dragons," a voice that echoes throughout the entire cave sound out. The voice sounded like an old man. Wang Hao Han and Lin Qian look everywhere but didn't see anyone.

"Who are you?"Wang Hao Han shouted in alarm.

"I am the Protector Deity of the Azure Dragons. They have given you a gift call Immortal Arts. This is a blessing to you humans because you can never die and grow old. However, you are too weak to be able to harness these skills. You have to train for years to be able to learn these skills and distractions are not allowed. Come!" the same voice said. As soon as he finishes speaking, a strong wind picks them up. However, Lin Qian was going a different way.

She was going the way out. She quickly grabs onto Wang Hao Han's hand as strong as she could. "Don't let go!"

She wasn't going to, but then she heard voices coming from the directions that she was headed. She didn't want him to be in danger either. "I see footprints! Quickly!" Lin Qian tense up, and made a decisive decision.

She looks at him. "Come find me! I will wait for you!" She then let go of his hand. Wang Hao Han tried to reach out for her hand, but it was all too late. She had already been carried out.

She had hit something hard on her way out and her consciousness fades away.

When she woke, she was tied to a tree with thin straps of rope. She continued pretending that she was sleeping. She listened to their conversation and found out that they were not soldiers, but slave hunters.

She bit her lips and thought of ways to escape. She waited until everyone was sleeping, then run away. The ropes were too weak and thin. They probably thought that she was nothing but a weak girl.

She had to endure the older sisters beating. She works in the kitchen where chaos was everywhere. She had also beat up clothes every day so she was different from girls her age.

She then starts running. She didn't care where she went as long as she escapes from here. She purposefully rips her clothes apart so it looks like rags. She then rubs mud all over her body and went to the capital.

Lin Qian pretended to be a beggar. She thought no one would cause her trouble, but some older beggar bullied her. She endures all the pain. Even if she wants to fight back she couldn't because she was too weak.

She hadn't eaten for two weeks, and will surely die from starvation if this continued. The others were disgusted with her so they decided to throw her into the river before she dies on the road.

She was too weak to fight back. She couldn't even swim if she wanted to because she didn't know how to swim.

She thought that she was going to die. She couldn't keep her promise to him. She was going to accept her fate until she saw someone reaching out for her.

She pulled out, and for once she was never happier to breathe again. She looks over to the person who saved her.

It was a young girl. She didn't look much older, but she was very beautiful. Her elegant outfit was already enough for anyone to guess that she a was of high noble.

Lin Qian was thankful toward her, and swear her loyalty to that person forever.
