Chapter 1: The Downstairs Neighbor Was Very Handsome (1/4)

Today was the first anniversary of Vasilia’s studio.

Eustoma and Nandina were placed in the vase on the table.

The Eustoma was very beautiful. Its pale pink and snow white color was especially in keeping with the decoration here.

Vasilia sat on a soft chair by the table, adjusting the flowers gently with her fingertips.

A batch of high-end wedding dresses arrived and was carefully moved in by the clerks. When the sunlight shone in, the tiny diamonds on the dresses glistened.

As there was an appointment of a client in advance, when it was time, Vasilia went outside to wait.

The new couple arrived in time, Vasilia welcomed them in and politely asked, “Do you have any thoughts about your wedding ceremony?”

The man and woman looked affectionate. The woman was very beautiful. Her long wavy hair was decorated with a pearl hairpin on her head. From the accessories and bag, it was easy to see that she was a little princess who was taken good care of.

Her man was plain in appearance. His lips always raise a bit when speaking, letting out a taste of frivolous.

Libby looked at Vasilia with anticipation.

“I’ve heard about your wedding planning studio before, and my friend recommended you to me, so I came specifically.”

Vasilia smiled and said, “I would be honored if I could provide you with the necessary assistance.”

Libby turned to the man, “How do you think, Owen?”

Owen looked a bit lazy. He glanced at the brochure and casually said, “Glad you like it. Buy whatever you like.”

“But I hope you’ll enjoy our wedding, too.”

“I said, it was up to you.” As he said this, the man already showed some impatience on his face.

Libby glared at him but didn’t care much. She went on to read the brochure in her hand cheerfully.

After a while, the man requested to go out for a cigarette. It seemed that he couldn’t stay any longer.

Libby apologized to Vasilia, “Sorry, he’s a bit of a smoker. But he promised me to quit smoking after marriage.”

Vasilia raised her eyebrows slightly and continued to introduce some other schemes to Libby.

Vasilia’s studio had different kinds of customers coming and going. She had seen all kinds of men during her work.

Women in love were often careless about men’s attitudes. But Vasilia had developed a pair of piercing eyes. Men’s attitudes were mostly represented when discussing wedding details.

However, it was inconvenient for her to say anything most of the time. She just smiled and let it be.

By the time the couple was sent away, it was nearly closing time.

The staff walked around and asked, “Boss, it’s the first anniversary of our studio, shall we go out to celebrate?”

Vasilia promised to send red envelopes in the WeChat group after she went back later this evening.

As she played games with her friends and almost couldn’t get up this morning, she needed to go back to catch up on sleeping tonight.

The celebrating dinner could be made up later.

When Vasilia drove downstairs to the community, she remembered the topic discussed by her neighbors in the elevator days ago.

“I heard that a new neighbor has moved to the 14th floor.”

“A man or a woman?”

“A man. He’s very handsome, almost 188cm in height, stoic disposition, cold and gentle, with white shirts and black pants, perfect figure ratio. This is the first time I have seen such a handsome person in daily life. He’s much more handsome than a star. When I met him that day, I was ashamed to look directly at him.”

“What a stretch! ”

“Believe it or not.”

“… ”

Vasilia listened but didn’t think much.

Although she was interested in handsome boys, she didn’t need to be interested in a stranger.

But at 10 p.m. last night, the neighbor on the 14th floor suddenly sent a message in the community group chat, which made Vasilia think of the gossip in the elevator.

cjy: “Who is the resident of Room 1501?”

Vasilia was still in the game. She replied immediately after reading the message.

“It’s me. What’s the matter?”

cjy: “I live below you. Your bathroom is leaking.”
