Qi Long made his way toward the stage. He was holding a long spear and coupled with his tall sturdy body, he truly looked like a young warlord. In front of him, there were nine students standing on the same side. It seemed like they were going to collaborate against Qi Long.

"Begin!" As soon as the judge announced the beginning of the fight, two warriors quickly dashed toward Qi Long. Two thieves were following from behind. The thieves made use of the big bodies in front of them to hide their movements. They later moved to the opposite sides as soon as Qi Long clashed with the warriors. Shortly after, they attacked from both right and left sides of Qi Long.

Qi Long welcomed their attacks with a quick parrying movement and moved toward the other five students. He was planning to take out the students at the back first since their defences were weaker.

However, before he reached them, Qi Long movement was blocked by an earth wall. As he was destroying the wall, rain of arrows forced him to dance around with his spear. Not waiting for Qi Long to catch his breath, two fireballs managed to hit him. The fire was quickly put off but there were few burning marks left on Qi Long body.

The audience were thrilled by the fight. It was surprising that the teamwork of the other nine students was really good and they managed to put up a great fight against Qi Long right from the start.

Qi Long swept and turned his long spear around his body to parry the incoming attacks from the warriors and the thieves. He then jumped and thrusted his spear downward. The opponents were scrambling to avoid or parry the attacks.

Subsequently, two fire mages started to cast their magics while the archer was locking on Qi Long midair position. Shortly after, Qi Long found himself defending against a barrack of arrows and fireballs.

As soon as his feet touched the ground again, two thieves were launching a quick pinching attack from both sides. Qi Long blocked it and even managed to counter attacks.

"Nicole, quickly heals Robin and Erick. Moses, limits his movement with 'Earth Wall'. Robin, Erick you two back off first to heal your wounds. Chris, Mat you two cover Robin and Erick retreat." Unknown to other people, there was a battle master amongst the nine students. He was analyzing the flow of the fight and commanding the other eight students via mind transmissions.

'Block!' Two warriors were moving toward Qi Long with their shields up. This gave enough time for Nicole, the healer, to heal the two thieves Robin and Erick.

The battle master was actually one of the fire mage. His name was Luke Saw and he was also one of the TOP 40 new students, ranked 35th. As the name suggested, battle master was a class mastering the art of battle or war. They were really good at strategizing, analyzing, and commanding the troops. They were in born war general.

The fight went on for a full hour. Compared with previous fights which lasted for 30 minutes at most, this fight was the longest. However, due to its intensity, the audience did not feel bored at all.

"What is Qi Long doing? He is more than capable to finish this fight early." Qi Di was pondering over Qi Long reason to prolong the fight. He was not the only one who was confused. Those people from Seven Colour Pagoda clan were all aware of Qi Long true might.

There was even a rumour which stated that the old matriarch was actually in love with Emperor Lin and decided to follow her love.

Whatever rumours and speculations were spread outside, no one besides the elders of the clan at that time were aware of the true reasons. If there was one thing which was true, it was the fact that the old matriarch was Emperor Lin sworn sister.

After securing his win, Qi Long calmly went down from the stage amid the fevered gazes from the girls in the arena.
