As soon as the judge announced the start of the fight, Paul started to prepare several explosions on Erza standing spot as well as on the path between him and her. He was planning to catch her off guard, regardless whether she decided to stay at her spot or dashed forward to attack him.

However, he suddenly found that Erza had vanished from his view. And the next thing he knew was his left rib was almost broken by her kick. Paul was then sent flying few metres away due to the impact.

Before Paul could regain his balance, he received an uppercut straight to his lower jaw which sent him flying upward. It was the start of his misery as he was being assaulted numerous times in midair before been slammed and crashed hard to the ground.

Finally, the guests made their ways back to their respective homes after saying goodbye to their juniors.
