It has been a week since Alister was locked up in a cage. During that time, he had practiced his mind control superpower to pass the time.

  Perhaps out of kindness, Alister had prevented the death of the abducted children who were about to die of starvation. He used his viral energy to convert it into energy and nutrients and passed it to the children who were about to die.

It wasn't that their kidnappers didn't give them food. However, the kidnappers seemed to have preferential treatment for some of the abducted children. Those children that they determined to be of high quality and could fetch for a good price were given full nutritious meals compared to those who weren't.

Alister was included in that but the lower-quality children could barely have a full meal so they were malnourished and were about to die from starvation.

He already knew that the fate of those female children would either be groomed by some rich old men or be trained to become prostitutes. As for those male children, they would likely be raised as assassins or hitmen by those criminal organizations or be forced to work in a mine.

On the other hand, Alister knew that he would become top merchandise in the slave auction and be bought by rich old women.

Eventually, Alister saw that those wretched uncles returned to this underground basement and started unlocking the cages of those children. While retaining the handcuffs and binding of those children, they picked them out of the cages and started transporting them to a vehicle.

The same went for Alister as he was picked up by one of those kidnappers and placed inside a cage in a loaded truck.

"Boss, we seem to be lucky this time. We can earn at least ten million dollars from selling all of these children!"

"Don't get ahead of yourself. Who knows if the police managed to catch our trail? Make sure to erase our traces."

Alister overheard the conversation of the wretched uncles along with their boss. He ignored them since he had already planted a mind parasite on all of them.

Contrary to the mind seed, the mind parasite was purely planting a delayed mind control on a target. As long as Alister detonated the mind parasite, the target would become his loyal puppet.

He didn't care much about the lives of these kidnappers but they still had to suffer for ruining the lives of these abducted children as well as those children's parents. He wasn't a saint, but he also wasn't the devil.

He found the teenage girl transcendent as stupid because she tried to save people yet couldn't even save herself which resulted in sacrificing her life for others' sake. On the other hand, Alister didn't mind saving others even if it didn't benefit him as long as it wouldn't be an inconvenience for him.

Even if he didn't need the worthless lives of those kidnappers, he could still kill them after he had thoroughly made use of them so that he could prevent more children from being kidnapped by them.

As Alister stayed inside the cage in a loaded truck along with other abducted children, he noticed that the truck had started moving.

'These kidnappers should have already sold us and are now transporting the goods to their buyers. Of course, I might be the exception since I will probably be auctioned by them.'

'Sigh, finally. After I arrive at the venue of the slave auction and meet with those millionaires and possibly billionaires, this damn charade can finally end.'

'I already got bored after a week of being locked up in a cage.'

Alister was relieved that he could finally start his plan of conquering this world.

However, at this time, Yun Ren wasn't a threat yet since he hadn't developed the zombie virus. But Alister didn't want to take any chances especially when his transmigration to this early of a timeline would change the events to the point that he could no longer predict it.

Even Alice might have been sold a lot earlier than the intended time and that was due to his disappearance. Fortunately, Alister had already foreseen that so he prepared a failsafe for his younger sister.

While Alister was planning for the future, he took a rest in the cage and waited for the truck to arrive at the venue of the slave auction.

The truck drove in a remote location for several hours until it arrived in front of a huge building and five-star hotel. It seemed to be a private location that was only accessible to those from the high-class society and even the police dared not intervene in this area even if they knew the crimes that occurred here.

After the truck arrived here, Alister no longer wanted to put up with this charade. With just his thought alone, the cage bars twisted and opened a gap for him, allowing him to exit his cage much to the surprise of the abducted children.

But since those children were gagged, they couldn't yell in shock or snitch to the kidnappers.

Noticing that he was still handcuffed and tied, Alister destroyed his handcuffs and removed the gag on his mouth.

"Phew, this went much better than I had expected." Alister's childish voice rang out which alerted the kidnappers as they hurriedly opened the truck.

But when they opened the truck and saw Alister being free from the cage, Alister detonated the mind parasite on their body, causing their attitude towards Alister to turn 360 degrees.

They all kneeled towards Alister much to the shock of the abducted children. "Boss, what are your orders?"

When Alister heard those kidnappers' disgusting voices, he commanded with cold indifference, "Kill yourself."

Afterward, Alister no longer bothered and left the truck.

To prevent those abducted children from being traumatized as they witness their kidnappers committing suicide, Alister puts them to sleep and removes the memories of their suffering when they were kidnapped.

He had also transferred enough energy that could last them for a month without the need to eat and drink. It was the least he could do for them until they were returned to their families.

With such consideration, Alister left them to their own accord and walked towards the tall building which was guarded by security guards with guns.

But instead of subduing Alister, those security guards kneeled towards him, "Boss, all of your loyal subordinates are waiting for you inside the building! We all await your command!"
