He didn't choose reward number 2 since he didn't experience much in the simulation that was worth remembering and even for information's sake, the text displayed on his simulator was enough to let him know that Qinghu City was off-limits.

On the other hand, the Astral Energy Refining Technique was just a fancy way of saying that he could devour the astral energy in the atmosphere. It was created by him and since he could create it without any effort, then he could do it again.

When compared to the rubbish reward number 2, reward 3 still looked quite appealing. After all, even if he didn't need to judge whether someone was good or evil before he killed them, it still was a purple-grade talent, and who knows? He might be able to make use of it in the future.

With those in mind, reward number 3 was more valuable than reward number 2.

After Alister chose those rewards, he immediately felt an increase in his strength and he was now considered as a Transcendent King Peak Stage. Or in the power level of the martial arts fantasy world, he was a Level 90 Honored Star.

When he was a Level 86 Honored Star, Alister was still able to defeat a Level 94 Revered Constellation, albeit in a sneak attack. When he had reached Level 90 Honored Star, he still defeated a Level 97 Revered Constellation while he wasn't at his peak state since his powers were transferred to his two avatars.

Not to mention, at that time, a Level 98 Revered Constellation was also attacking him. His energy reserves at that time were half-depleted.

If Alister was at his peak state, he was confident that he could defeat the Level 97 Revered Constellation and gravely injure the Level 98 Revered Constellation.
