Worlds: The Beginning

Chapter 1 - Prologue

A hundred thousand years ago, the divine continent was split into three civilisations: the tyrannical beast civilisation - Rayok, the magical beast civilisation - Larik and the human civilisation – Eden.

Each of these three civilisations had an emperor ruling over them and these three emperors were existences that could kill anyone that they wished but each other with only just a single thought and while being billions of kilometres away.

Rayok, Larik and Eden lived in peace for a thousand years, but after those thousand years had passed, conflicts began to arise between the three.

At first, they were only small conflicts but in time they escalated to an all-out war which began seventy thousand years ago.

This all-out war raged in the lands, the sea and the sky for a thousand years, but it ended when Eden's emperor beheaded both the Rayok's and Larik's emperors.

He turned the remaining tyrannical beasts into slaves and the remaining magical beasts into mounts.

Years passed and ten thousand years ago, Eden's emperor entered secluded cultivation in a place that was not known to anyone and at that time the tyrannical and magical beasts rebelled.

The two races didn't kill the humans but used a technique on them that made the humans into soulless puppets who did anything they were ordered to.

Eight thousand years passed, and tyrannical and magical beasts managed to turn all the humans into soulless puppets, all except for Eden's emperor.

A single year from the human enslavement passed.

Eden's emperor left his secluded cultivation and a sudden bad feeling rose up in his heart.

He rushed back to Eden's capital, but before reaching it, he became dumbstruck as he came across humans who were lifelessly walking in-chains following the tyrannical and magical beasts.

This sight enraged Eden's emperor. He became so furious that the very weather was influenced by his rage – the ground shook and the storms howled, even the sun itself disappeared from the sky.

The tyrannical and magical beasts from all over the continent witnessed these phenomenons and they all knew that Eden's emperor must be out of his secluded cultivation. But they were not even in the slightest afraid as they were sure that their technique of making humans into puppets wouldn't fail, no matter who they used it on.

They all started looking around themselves, looking for him and those tyrannical and magical beasts that had him in their vicinity saw him.

Eden emperor rushed over to the first tyrannical beast but before he could reach him, something inconceivable happened.

"Stop!" the tyrannical beast shouted out and Eden emperor stopped once he was five-yards away of the beast.

The tyrannical and magical beasts laughed at Eden emperor but once they looked into his eyes, they became terrified as instead of soulless eyes, they were eyes full of rage.

"Kill yourself!" the tyrannical beast that shouted out for Eden emperor to stop shouted out.

But Eden's emperor didn't move a single muscle.

"Didn't you hear me?! I ordered you! Kill yourself!"

Eden's emperor moved and a broad smile appeared on the face of the tyrannical beast but then it changed into that of disbelief as Eden's emperor didn't do what he was ordered to, but struck him instead which killed him.

"Impossible!" the other tyrannical beast shouted out in disbelief.

Eden's emperor turned to the tyrannical beast that shouted out and killed him and the other tyrannical and magical beasts that were there, by punching them once each.

He walked up to the chained humans and saw their lifeless eyes.

He frowned.

"Can you hear me?" he said but received no answer.

A face of worry appeared on his face and he rushed to Eden's capital, leaving the chained lifeless humans behind.

He returned to the city, to his home, to his empress and his children. But when he entered his courtyard, he saw his son completely nude on all fours with chains wrapped around his neck and his wives and daughters being r.a.p.ed by tyrannical and magical beasts.

"You bastards?!" he bellowed and killed all the tyrannical and magical beasts.

Looking at his wives, daughters and his son, he knew that they were now the same as those chained up humans he encountered before.

Collapsing on his knees, he wept for seven days and nights.

On the eighth morning, he vowed that he would find a way to return everyone back to normal and he left Eden's capital.

For the next ninety years, he scoured the continent, questioning and killing the tyrannical and magical beasts that he came across.

But even after ninety years, he didn't move a single step closer to finding a way how to return souls back to his family and subjects. The beasts that he questioned wouldn't give him the answer. It was as if the beasts themselves had no idea from where they learned the technique that they used to make the humans soulless puppets.

On the ninety-eighth year of travel, he found out a very shocking truth. The truth so shocking that made his face pale in fright. It frightened him so much that he decided to do what he wanted to avoid at all cost – to use his own soul which was already on the verge of transforming into a divine soul and use it to revert everyone back to actual humans.

Returning back to Eden's capital, he first walked over to his family. He said his goodbye to them and apologised. Then, he severed his soul and cut it into three parts. One part contained 70% of his soul while the others contained 25% and 5%. He used the biggest part to create a barrier around his home, which was the future city – Eden. This barrier was created to keep the tyrannical and magical beasts out. He used 25% of his soul to create protection for all humans against the tyrannical and magical beast technique but he miscalculated as it was not enough. His soul could only protect those that have already reached a.d.u.l.thood. The last 5% he used to return everyone from being soulless puppets to humans.
