When the assistant Li got drunk and lost control over himself, he started crying, which didn't surprise Xiao Min. He was expecting to see this as he knew his senior must be holding back and didn't show how hurt he was after his boss's death, who was his close friend.

"Why did he leave?" assistant Li cried as he sat on the floor, leaning back to the couch.

Xiao Min sat there quietly to accompany his senior in his sorrow.

"If he loved her that much, then why didn't he just tell everyone that he was not his brother. Why didn't he tell her how much he loved her. What good came out of taking his own life. Why...Why did he have to do that? Why did he leave me, his only friend alone?"

Assistant Li's words shocked Xiao Min as he understood assistant Li knew about the secret of Xi Cheng's birth. From their previous talk, Xiao Min thought he didn't know about it as assistant Li showed it like that.

With his teary eyes, assistant Li looked at Xiao Min, who was sitting beside him.

"Xiao Min, tell me, is it wrong to love someone that he had to take his life in the end?"

"No senior. It's not wrong." Xiao Min comforted him.

"That selfish bastard only thought about himself and didn't think what would happen to me once he left. Other than him, I had no one. This orphan is left alone again."

"You have me, senior. You are like my elder brother, you know it," Xiao Min countered.

"No one can take his place in my life. He was my friend, my brother and even my father. He was everything to me. What he did for me, even one's parents can't do it for the person."

Assistant Li started crying like a child, and one could see how hurt he was. A strong man continued crying and sobbing as he kept mumbling his friend's name while Xiao Min hugged him and continued patting his back as he let his senior shed tears on his shoulders.

When assistant Li fell asleep, Xiao Min looked at his calm face as he said, "But I will try my best so that you will forget your pain, senior, as I still owe you for helping me in my difficult time."

Xiao Min realized he didn't know which apartment belonged to assistant Li and even if he knew, he should have the key to unlock it. Xiao Min searched for the keys in assistant Li's clothe's pockets, but there was none, so he understood there must be a security code, and seeing his Senior's condition, there was no way he could answer a single word.

Xiao Min looked around and realized the reason behind having this place for the drinking. Assistant Li and his boss must be drinking like bulls, and no one would be there to get them home from here. In case these two spend the entire night sleeping here, they had arranged everything. Xiao Min stood up and pressed the button that let the plastic walls roll down to close that whole place.

Making his senior sleep on the couch, Xiao Min sat on the chair while stretching his legs towards the center table and fell asleep.

The next morning both woke up late. Xiao Min checked the time and exclaimed. "F**k! I would be late for the office today."

His hair was messy, the white shirt turned wrinkly, and the head hurt due to a hangover. Not knowing what to do, he continued sitting in the chair while pulling his hair.

"Damn you, lower your voice," assistant Li cursed as he tried to open his hazy eyes and pressed his temples.

"Senior, I am late for the office today. I need to run," Xiao Min announced loudly again as he was anxious, and that hurt assistant Li's head hurt even more.

"Go to hell."

"I will, senior, but later. For now, I need to go to work. Where is your apartment? I will get you there." Xiao Min said as he stood up, trying to get his footsteps straight.

"I am not crippled to need your help. Go away from here and don't show up anytime soon." Warning, assistant Li got up, but his head was spinning, so he fell back on the couch.

Xiao Min stepped towards the couch to held his senior as he asked, "Are you okay?"

"I am. You can go."

"I can't."

Assistant Li gave him a narrowed eyes look, but Xiao Min ignored it and spoke, "I need a small favor from you."

"You are not allowed in my home," assistant Li declared, knowing Xiao Min's intentions.

"Even though you have a hangover, I can see your brain is working fine, senior. Hehe, just lend me your clothes as I can't go back home. It's too far," Xiao Min requested like a kid, but his senior was rock hearted.

"No." Came the firm denial from assistant Li.

"Please, senior. I have never been late for the office."

"No."

Saying, assistant Li got up, and this time didn't fall. He came out of the place and walked towards the door, which led the way downstairs from the rooftop.

Xiao Min followed him and held him while going downstairs as assistant Li's footsteps were not stable.

When they reached in front of the apartment's door, assistant Li was about to enter the security password, but he stopped and looked at Xiao Min, standing just a one step back.

"Why are you still here?"

"I need to pee," Xiao Min replied as he smiled lightly, and assistant Li frowned, "Stop smiling like a kid. Do it and go back immediately."

Xiao Min nodded, and assistant Li instructed again, "Look at the other side. I need to enter the password."

Xiao Min did it as he mumbled, "His brain works fine even if he is drunk."

"I can hear you." Saying assistant Li entered the apartment, and Xiao Min followed him like an excited kid though his head was hurting too.
