Young Justice: The Super Soldier

In the watchtower, all the heroes gather Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Flash, Aquaman etc. They were in the meeting to think of a solution for their proteges but first, there was an elephant in the that had to be addressed.

"we all know why this meeting had to be called" Batman spoke up first getting everyone attention "First we need to discuss what are we gonna do with Superboy and Rogers."

"I say we interrogate both of them, they could be a threat," Superman said while crossing his arms and for a sec had an irritated/worried face which Batman noticed but didn't say anything about it.

"that Rogers kid as compiled so far, I say we talk to them instead of interrogating them" Wonder Woman finally spoke up.

"it won't easy to interrogate Rogers anyway" everyone was surprised when they heard this because it was Batman the one who could interrogate someone in seconds with just using his words.

"and why is that?" The Flash asked before anyone can get a word out.

"i did some digging on this kid named Steve Rogers" after saying this Batman clicked a screen on his gauntlet and holograms of files and video feeds showed up in the middle of the table where all the league was sitting.

Batman continued "he said the truth about his real name but what he didn't tell us was who he is" files started showing up on small screens around the table so all the league can look through it.

As all the league went through files their eyes went wide "Why haven't we heard of him and how did you get these files?" Superman asked curiously.

"I hacked into the government's files including Cadmus and why we haven't heard of him its because they deemed it classified." Batman continued as he got up and went to the hologram in the middle of the room pressing on it showing footage.

In the black and white footage, there was a man in a lab coat working "His father was a scientist who was working on a way to make soldiers stronger, faster, perfect eyesight and hearing so basically making a super soldier" Batman said.

"That's crazy how can someone hide such a discovery" flash asked confused on why the kid hasn't even been experimented on.

"because of all the subjects of his experiment on they all went crazy including his 1st son," Batman said.

While Batman was talking Wonder woman wasn't taking notice as she was thinking about the Steve Trevor her old love but when she started taking notice she looked at the pictures and Wonder Woman's eyes went wide and yelled "I know this kid" catching ever one's attention.

"how?" Batman questioned he knew Wonder Woman lived a long time, in fact, she was in world war 2.

"he rescued a few soldiers that were captured he also charged the front lines like me" after hearing wonder woman's words all the league eye were in shock except Batman.

"how come you never brought this up when we meet him?" Batman questioned wonder woman because she held valuable information that Batman needed.

"its because I only saw him when I charged the front lines I thought it was just another crazed soldier that got lucky and the other things were just rumours that were told...so I thought," Wonder Woman answered back.

"fine do you know anything else?" Batman asked trying to get as much information on him as possible.

"not much all I know is he was hope for many soldiers its strange to learn that same hero was a kid," Wonder Woman said amazed.

"okay from what the files say about his abilities is he has agility, strength, speed, endurance, and reaction time superior to an athlete not that his IQ roughly is more than 400 probably smarter" everyone's jaws were about to drop at Batman last words.

Letting them calm down Batman continued "that his physical and mental capabilities but his skills are something else" Batman then clicks another button on his gauntlet before another file popped up on the hologram "his skills in combat are impressive he comprehension of martial arts is on another level and he knows every language known to man he also can fit in unnoticed anywhere he goes."

"so a perfect soldier?" the flash cuts in.

"in simple terms..yes," Batman says before walking back to his seat and sitting down.

But at the end of the table, everyone was taking in this knowledge while Shazam whispered to green lantern 'did he just compliment someone?' green lantern a just gave a nod.

"but that's just Steve he's brother is a different story" another file popped up on the hologram.

"wait, I thought you said he went crazy," Aquaman says confused.

"he did and his name is John Rogers he disappeared around the time Steve did" everyone was completely paying attention to the screen because wanted to know more so batman continued "he has the same abilities except for no morals of life extremely ruthless, he joined the other side during world war 2 as a scientist and one of the inner circle."

"what happened to their father than?" Wonder woman asks curiously.

"after giving his second son the serum he was captured by the government and he ended up committing suicide in prison a few days later" when Batman said this the league's faces went into sadness for Steve after all his brother went crazy and his father killed himself.

"wait why did he give it to his son then killed himself days later?" Superman questions.

"because steves father got fired by the government but continued to work on it and since he had no test subjects-" before Batman can finish Wonder Woman speaks for him.

"since he had no test subjects he used it on his son" after she said this all the heroes faces go dark.

"yes, and when they raided the lab to take his research the formula was gone and his notes were burned" then Batman continued "only leaving Steve behind they tested his blood but nothing came of it, so for 4 years they trained and sent him to war."

"wait he looks 16 though...wait you don't mean" the Flash's face went pale before Batman can finish his sentence.

"yes, he got his abilities at age 12 and trained until 15 and went to war then disappeared at 16," Batman said with a little anger in his tone it didn't get noticed by most of the league but the ones close to him noticed.

"I'm almost afraid to ask but how did he disappear?" Superman questioned looking at Batman for answers.

"the last file says he had been K.I.A" everyone's face was pale but confused.

"what do you mean K.I.A?" shazam asked.

Only to be answered by Martian Manhunter "he was killed in action..or so the report says."

"we don't have enough information on him which brings me to another matter, I want to put all our proteges in a team for covert missions after today we need to make a team Cadmus or the Villans doesn't know about so we can be one step ahead of them" with one look around the table batman continues "raise your hand if against it" only to see no hands in the air.

"then it's settled and one more thing before this meeting ends...who is gonna be Steves Mentor? He needs guidance to stay on the right path, so anyone wants to volunteer?" Batman says waiting for a volunteer...
