Young Justice: The Super Soldier

Mount Justice July 10th...

As I look around my garage in my room I couldn't be prouder, I've never dreamed of having these cars and Motorcycles. 'time to get work' I thought.

First I cut the wall making a square hole showing many cords 'first I need to rid of the camera in my room' it took me about an hour to find it and when I was about to cut it a knock was at my door 'that was slow, thought they would be here sooner' and I cut the wire turning off the cameras in my room.

'now I think about it wouldn't be easier just to smash them?' I thought as my door open and a furious batman walked in.

Batman stand right in front of me staring me down "there are rules you need to follow and doing this is breaking them" he said still glaring. (A:N doing 3 person point of view now)

"yea, you can keep your cameras around the hallway and base but not my room," Steve said staring back at Batman without fear which was seen by Connor and Megan at the door.

"Watch. Your. Tone" Batman said leaning in while glaring at Steve but he was unfazed.

So Steve stepped closer "or what?" seeing Batman and Steve about to have a fight Meghan quickly jumped in the middle of them.

"stop now," Meghan said with a slight bit of anger.

"I don't want a fight but I won't back down either," Steve said still not fazed by Batman.

With one last glare bat, an turned around and left but before got out the door he turned back and said " I came to tell you I'm your new mentor I thought you should know".

This surprised Steve he didn't think he was getting a mentor and now, he pissed him off, what could happen? all he could do is sigh and continue working on his room and the suits for the next few days.

July 16th...

It was the day before meeting mister twister and Steve got a lot done, luckily he had basically an unlimited supply of vibranium so he built a massive vibranium vault and made suits for the whole team but decided to store them away with multiple weapons he even made an arc reactor to power up his room and a suit built to fight stronger enemies but he decided it was best to store it away in case of emergency since the suit itself was dangerous if it landed in the wrong hands. (think of a massive vault full of weapons and armour)

As for his new suit, it took him a while to figured out what Captain America suit he wanted to make and it was black and red, blue and white Bucky Barnes Captain America suit #34 2008 laced with vibranium alloy and Kevlar/Nomex (the novels cover).

And also for the past few days, he built a secret base away from the league's eyes it was 30 times bigger and better than his room, he called it 'The Sanctuary' it was hidden underground the walls were covered in multiple materials such as led so Superman can't use x-ray vision and a lot of vibranium so no matter how strong Superman and the Justice league is they won't get through.

The whole reason Steve made this bunker was just in case the Justice league or Villans go rouge you never know what will happen and the last thing he made was an AI called 'Jarvis'. (had to do it)

In the sanctuary...

"Jarvis activate base's defence systems " Steve yelled out while underneath a panel that was hooked up to a massive screen.

"right away sir" after a few seconds the whole base lightened up showing jets, planes, cars and a huge display of suits "congratulations sir all defence systems are online."

"Great, you gotta admit me doing this in just a few days is impressive," Steve said getting up from underneath the panel only to see a robot acting like a Butler hold a drink on a large saucer(i think that's what it's called).

"thank you, Android 170" Steve said picking up the drink from the saucer and drinking it as the Butler android left.

"Sir I recommend you store everything in the vault here you never know what could happen while you are away from Mount Justice," Jarvis said whit concern in his voice.

"don't worry I already put half of my weapons in the vault here and the other half is in an impenetrable vault at the base," Steve said dismissing Jarvis worries, it's not like he's not worried it just everything that he left is either incomplete or a failed project.

Sitting back down Steve looked at the screen and began working "Jarvis open file bug spray."

Star city-docks July 17th...

In the cover of the night, two people are unloading a truck. As they remove the first long, flat, container an arrow drops between the two of them. Red fletching showing off and the nock blinks bright red before releasing gas. The two stumble and the container goes flying, popping open to reveal a high-tech gun. Which slides to the feet of one of their associates. He takes aim, the barrel gaining three red streaks. He looks at the construction set up over his head, finally zeroing in on Speedy, who seems to have fully ditched the hat.

"You again!" Brick yells at the teenager. "I'm starting to get insulted Green Arrow's not messing up my operation personally." then narrows his eyes as he aims for Speedy.

The Arrow-themed protogé dives right grabbing onto next support column, just barely staying in front of the shots. As Brick shoots at the bridge that he nearly grabbed he drops down one level and runs across that bridge instead. Brick shoots just in front of the young man, who changes his momentum so he flips as he nocks an arrow and releases it. Shooting it right down the barrel, causing it explode in Brick's hand, even shredding his suit.

"Do you know what I pay for suit in my size?!" he yells even more angry at the Arrow-themed 18-year-old. "Scorch the Earth, boys." he commands.

The other four raise their guns to do just that, but a blur comes through and two of them are suddenly left weaponless. The other two turn towards where the blur ran off to, only for their guns to be knocked out of their hands. Robin swings into an opening in the crates with his happy cackle. Bring their attention right to Aqualad.

Brick lifts a chunk of concrete and throws it at Speedy who is also using the crates to his advantage as he waits to strike with his already nocked arrow. He comes to a stop, bracing himself in a downward diagonal with his foot on one of the crates as he launches an arrow that explodes as it hits Brick's massive shoulder. It doesn't stop the metahuman from throwing another piece of concrete at Speedy. However, this time Speedy jumps out of the way, nocking another arrow as Aqualad jumps where Speedy was with a mace and sword formed from his water-bearers. Chopping the concrete in two. Giving Speedy the opening to hit Brick with a gas arrow.

Speedy walks to the slightly out of breath Aqualad as he releases the magic that lets his water-bearers take shape. "The cave is perfect. It has everything the team will need." the Atlantean tell the older hero.

"For covert missions." Robin says dropping down behind Speedy. "You know, spy stuff."

Kid Flash runs up the crates and lands just shy of the edge with inverted half. "And wait till you see Superboy and Miss Martian." he says excitedly. "But I saw her first."

The gas wasn't enough to take out Brick, which is made clear as he lets loose another war cry and throw another piece of concrete at the four conversing teenagers. Speedy, Robin, and Kid Flash all dive out of the way, but Aqualad remains firm. Taking out the concrete with twin maces. Speedy uses two arrows that stick to Brick's c.h.e.s.t and release three spurts of flame to knock him back. Though the villain just chuckles. "Tell Arrow he shouldn't send boys to do a man's job." Speedy nocks another arrow taking aim. Brick stands tall his arms out wide. "Go ahea-" before he could finish a metal like Frisbee stuns him while Speedy grinds his teeth as he shoots this arrow. Which hits and for a moment nothing happens, then foam releases from the capsule stuck to Brick and traps him in it.

Kid Flash skids to a stop crouched under Speedy's aim, just in case. "High-density polyurethane foam. Nice."

"who's the new guy? Speedy questions with a serious look

"huh, who are yo-" before Robin can finish.

*BANG*

A loud bang can be heard behind Aqualad who into his fighting stance so did Speedy, Robin and Kid Flash they were ready for a fight until a 16-year-old teenager came out of the shadows wearing a black suit with red and white stripes leading to a star in the middle, on his head was a 'A' and wings on the side of it and around his waist was a utility belt that held a gun (rubber bullets) and a Knife.(basically the cover hate explaining what people look like)

"Wait, Cap? what are you doing here?" Kid Flash asked who was shocked he never expected to see Steve.

"I came to star city to pick up a few things and I heard some thugs talking about a deal going down so I followed them only to find you guys here," Steve said while walking past them to introduce himself to Speedy.

Steve held out his hand and said "The names Captain America but you can call me Cap" still holding his hand out Speedy looks and scoffe and leaves but in order to fully get out of the docks, he needs to walk past Robin and Aqualad. Who stand on either side of two crates that create a path that will lead right out of the docks, if you know the way.

"So, Speedy, you in?"

"Pass." the oldest says strongly but does pause to give them the answer. "I'm done letting Arrow and the League tell me what to do. I don't need a babysitter or a clubhouse to hang out with the other kids. Your Junior Justice League is a joke." Aqualad stops leaning against the crate. "Something to keep you busy and in your place." Speedy growls looking right to Robin before walking off. "I don't want any part of it." All three can only watch as their oldest friend, and the one the three of them look up to not only turns it down but insults it as well. Then they turn to each other with shocked expressions. 'so that's Red Arrow' Steve thought.

Mount justice July 17th..

Both boys appear in their civilian clothes. Smiling brightly, then running out of the Zeta Tube to the room they're connected to. Finding Steve, Meghan, Aqualad, and Connor standing before a holoscreen.

"Did you ask him?" Robin asks.

"What did he say?" Kid Flash follows up.

"He is arriving now," Aqualad tells the two of them as calmly. (when is he not?)

Kid Flash friendly punches Robin the c.h.e.s.t. "Then what are we waiting for?" before running off, Robin following close behind, and finally Aqualad. Leaving Megan, Steve and Connor, the green redhead smiles at the clone as she puts her hands on her h.i.p.s. Connor turns, crossing his arms before walking off. Megan smiles and takes flight while to follow the boys leaving Steve following behind them. They arrive at one of the entrances which are a ramp that falls down into the cave from the ground above them. All five walk up the ramp, as Red Tornado lands before them.

"Red Tornado!" Kid Flash calls out with a wave as the heroic android lands.

"Greeting."The red machine says "Is there a reason you intercept me outside the cave?" his monotone voice makes it rather hard to discern the question portion of his sentence.

"We hoped you had a mission for us." Aqualad conveys to the hero.

"Mission assignments are the Batman's responsibility." Red Tornado simply says.

"But it's been over a week and nothing-" Robin tries to talk, but was cut off by Red Tornado by raising his hand.

"You'll be tested soon enough." Red states firmly. "For the time being, simply enjoy each other's company."(calling him Red for short)

"This team is not a social club." Aqualad objects.

No," Red Tornado agrees. "but I am told social interaction is an important team-building exercise. Perhaps you can keep busy by familiarizing yourselves with the cave." Tornado says, walking past the six teens and into the cave.

Kid Flash turns to Robin, punching him in the shoulder again "Keep busy＂the speedster says annoyed.

"Does he really think we're falling for this?" Robin questions angrily.

"Oh, I'll find out," Megan says, then turns towards Red Tornado and her expression relaxes slightly.

A few seconds later Megan sighs. "I'm sorry, I forgot he's a machine, inorganic. I… cannot read his mind."

"Nice try, though." Kid Flash offers "So, uh, you know what I'm thinkin' right now?" he looks at Meghan with a flirtatious smile.

"We all know what you're thinkin' now," Robin grumbles and elbows the Young speedster's back.

"Ow," he complains.

"And now we tour the clubhouse," Aqualad says with a sour tone.

"Well, us three live here, so we can play tour guides." Megan offers, looking to Connor and Steve who were talking.

Robin and Kid Flash instantly turn to both of them finally getting their attention. "Don't look at me," Connor tells them seriously.

"Me either," Steve says soon after.

"We won't, A private tour sound so much better." Kid Flash says, looking to Meghan again.

"Sh-she never said private." Robin objects.

"Team building, We'll all go," Aqualad says.

They all turn to go back down the ramp, but Robin grabs Kid Flash's arm and pulls him back.

"So, this would be our front door…" Megan begins.

But before they went inside Steve stopped realizing something 'finally this is the moment' he then looks at the group and says "I'll be back I gotta do something." before leaving back in the cave.

Understanding Meghan continues the tour...

After a few minutes, Meghan comes flying into the kitchen panicking only to see Steve eating while holding a plate of cookies.

"Thank god, my cookies are fine," Megan said.

"Damn right, they are," Kid Flash said with another flirtatious look causing Robin to facepalm himself.

'seriously do you have a filter? Because if not you need one' Steve thought.

"you made cookies? That's very sweet of you" Aqualad said with a slight smile. (Finally a smile)

as Robin walks up and grabs a cookie and eat it "where did you learn to make them? They're great." Robin asks.

"From the 17th- uhh chapter of a cooking book I found," Megan says.

When Robin went to grab another one he realized the plate was empty only to see Steve and Kid Flash grinning, both realizing that Robin was glaring at them Kid Flash said helplessly "I have a serious metabolism."

"Seriously!" Robin snapped.

"I'll make more" soon as Megan said this Robin turned around excited.

"Sweet," he said while fist pumping the air.

"thank you for making them anyway," Aqualad says calmly. (annnd smile gone)

"Thanks, Aqualad," Megan says happily.

"We're off duty. Call me Kaldur'ahm." he insists. "Actually, my friends call me Kaldur." he clarifies with very little hesitance.

"I'm Wally." Kid Flash speaks up, leaning on the island. "See? I already trust you with my secret ID, unlike Mr. Dark Glasses over here." Robin frowns and glares at Wally as he puts his hands on his h.i.p.s, annoyed by the speedster's slightly accusatory tone. "Batman's forbidden Boy Wonder from telling anyone his real name."

"His name is D.i.c.k Grayson," Steve says catching everyone attention "I had a few days so I did some background checking."

"how? It's impossible to figure it out" Robin says still shocked that he's identity got exposed so fast.

"i don't think your identity is what you should worry about" after saying this Steve gave a signal to Megan for telepathic link 'Megan make a telepathic link just between me and Robin.'

'Okay give me a second' after a few seconds she gave a nod.

So Steve said something that made Robin d.i.c.ks face go pale 'don't worry I won't expose Bruce, "still shocked Steve adds 'I just thought you can tell him I figured it out and told the team so you won't get in trouble later.'

After hearing this Robins' face went to normal and said 'thanks but now you got to deal with him.'

Finally finishing what Steve needed to say he signalled Megan to stop the telepathic link which she did making her relax more 'it must have taken a lot to do that' Steve thought.

When Wally saw Megan relax he rushed over and started bugging Robin to figure out what happened (gonna keep the name Robin less awkward) so Robin whispered what happened which caused Wally to freak out.

"Anyway, Mine's no secret." The Martian admits brightly. "It's M'gann M'orzz. But you can call me Megan. It's an Earth name, I'm on Earth now." she seems really excited about that fact.

"Connor Kent," Superboy says abruptly crossing his arms.

"is there anything fun we can do here?" Robin questions.

"Hello, Megan!" she says it brightly despite the fact that she hits her forehead with the heel of her hand. "I know what we can do."

She takes off flying, leaving the five boys to follow her. Wally turns to Robin who shrugs, but all five follow her close behind everyone was Steve who was currently putting his shield on his back 'so far no dispute great everything is going as planned' he thought.

Robin turns and sees him putting on his shield asks "dude why are bringing your shield?"

"I take it everywhere with me" Steve answers while walking past him.
