Young Justice: The Super Soldier

Star City July 18th

My Name is Steve Rogers and I'm here to help," Steve said to Red Arrow who was still aiming his bow at him but soon stopped aiming and put away his arrow.

"the names Roy but what do you mean help?" toy asked finally calming down.

"Well, I know you been tracking a shipment of guns so I thought why not help a little" Steve says as he walks beside Roy to look down in the city.

"I don't need your help, I'm done with partners" Roy grumbled.

"well you've been tracking them for a week and had no leads so I doubt you don't need help," Steve said while looking through the goggles down at a shipping yard filled with black vans.

"Fine! but I'm calling the shots, " Roy said caving in.

"or no one calls the shots and work together no orders nothing we go in and destroy their weapons and leave deal?" Steve said turn towards Roy holding his hand out for a handshake.

With a grin, Roy shakes his hand and says "I like this partnership already With that both them jumped off the building.

In a large building in a shipping yard, men in suits were gathered armed with machine guns except for two who were talking, after a few minutes of laughing between them they were about to shake hands before they heard.

*Ding* *Ding* *Ding* The elevator was going up causing them to spook, one of the armed men got his radio and said "whos coming from the elevator" only to hear radio silence so called out the group and they gathered around the elevator.

Meanwhile in the Elevator...

"That was easy," Roy said as he was getting another arrow out of his quiver, "I thought they at least get more guards for this deal."

"I don't think that was all of them, there's probably more on the top floor," Steve said while loading his clip into his gun (rubber bullets).

"and most likely they have military grade weapons" Roy grumbles while looking at the floor numbers on top of the door of the elevator, "You think what I'm thinking?"

Steve grinned and said "Funny, I was gonna ask the same thing" before standing in front of Roy and holding his shield aiming at the door.

With the same grin he stepped behind Steve covering his whole body, he pulled back his arrow in his bow aiming over Steve's shoulder "It's Showtime!" Roy said as the doors opened.

As soon everyone's guns where broken Captain America and Red Arrow split into different paths charging into the mobsters taking each down one at a time, one of the mob bosses saw this and pulled out a pistol and aimed it towards Red Arrow.

Seeing him about to get shot, Steve yelled "Yo Red, Catch!" throwing his shield towards Red Arrow getting his attention.

Thankfully Red Arrow caught the shield and used it to block the incoming bullet Roy then started using the shield against multiple mobsters before tossing it back towards Steve who was in mid-air above the mob boss who shot the gun.

Mid-air Cap caught the shield and used it on the mob boss knocking him out that's when both of them realized one of the bosses was missing.

"Did you see where he went?" Steve asked looking at Roy.

"How am I supposed to know it was your job to keep track," Roy said but then they heard a car rev up and take off.

"This is gonna be another busy night," Steve said while facepalming himself only notice a grin on Roy's face "why are you smiling?" Steve questioned.

Without a word, Roy pulls out a device with a red button on top and presses it after a few seconds skids could be heard and a loud crash realizing why he grinned Steve held out his fist for a fist pump and Roy happily returned it.

A few minutes later at a crashed car...

"ow," the man said while crawling out of his crashed car landing back first on the cement ground.

The man then looked up to see both Captain America and Red Arrow looking down at him grinning, Red Arrow then picked the guy up and lift him above his head putting on his most intimidating face and start questioning which made the mob boss sing like a Canary.

Walking away Roy started explaining "Apparently he has a boss and you wouldn't believe who."

"Who? Is it, someone you know?" Steve asked.

"No, he is new to star city and runs a lot of the gun shipment operations in Gotham" after hearing Roy say this he had a pretty good idea who was behind this operation "Penguin" Roy grumbled.

"Do you need any more help? Steve questioned but Roy just soon his head.

"No, I can take it from here go back to your little clubhouse," Roy said annoyed.

After hearing this Steve threw a communication device towards him and said "okay, but if you want help let me know." before he got a grapple gun from his utility belt and shot it at a building, leaving the scene.

Somewhere unknown July 18th...

In a room filled with men in suits and scientists who were working at panels in front of a large cryo chamber, they were all focused on the chamber waiting for something until they saw a fist hit the clash making a loud *Boom* cracking it.

"So he's awake Finally I been waiting for too long for this" one of the men in suits said with a grin.

After a few seconds, a frantic laugh could be heard in the chamber which freaked at some of the scientists but they carried on, minutes later the chamber door opened and out stepped a 20-year-old with a sadistic smile across his face.

Looking at the men in suits he said "hello world." and on the side of the chamber it says J. Rogers.
