Young Love

Chapter 70 - Return of the angel or....?

Prakruth was disturbed from his sleep as his phone was continuously vibrating.... He received the call without even opening his eyes. "Hello, who's it?" he asked.

"Prakruth, it is me Punya" said Punya.

Prakruth suddenly got up from his bed as he could sense the panic in her tone "What happened?" he asked.

"We're at your hospital. Rishi has got fever and was talking nonsense whole night" she said.

"I'm coming in few minutes" he said.

"In Life hospital. Drive safely please" she said.

"Oh there... Ok I'll be safe" he said.

"One more thing, don't tell anything to"

"I know I'm not stupid!!!" frowned Prakruth before she could complete. He hung up and went to the washroom, splashed his face with water. It was 4.13 am in the morning. His eyes were still burning but he had to go.

When he arrived at the hospital, Varun was walking around the doctor tensed.

"Uncle" said Prakruth.

"Prakruth I'm glad you are here. Rishi is freaked out, he's got high fever. Doctors aren't telling me anything.... Please call your parents to help" said Varun. He spoke fast as he was totally scared.

"I will Uncle. Two minutes please" said Prakruth and rushed to the reception. "Where's Dr. Murthy?" he asked.

"He's at home Sir, there are other experts who can handle this. I don't think Doctor will come now" said the receptionist.

"Did I ask you to give your opinion?? Just connect me to him now" he scowled.

"Sir but" receptionist tried to tell him something.

"Right now" he screamed grinding his teeth.

"Ok..." said the scared receptionist and called Dr. Murthy and handed over the phone to Prakruth.

"Hello..." said Sarala.

"Mom, it is me Prakruth. I want you to come immediately to the hospital. We've a emergency" he said.

"Prakruth what happened, who's hurt??" asked Sarala.

Prakruth explained the situation and Sarala replied "Listen they need a child specialist and he must be already there. He'll manage the situation. If it worsens we'll call a psychologist later in the morning. We came home late. We need some rest. Please understand".

"Mom I know that there's no need for you to be here but your presence gives that family a moral support. Hope you understand. For you that boy is just another case but for them he's everything. Can you help?" asked Prakruth.

"I will try" said Sarala and hung up before Prakruth could tell anything else.

Prakruth slammed the phone in anger.

"What happened?" asked Varun.

"Uncle... They're on the way" Prakruth stuttered as he lied "Come uncle we'll go the ward".

Varun nodded and guided "This way".

When Prakruth entered the ward, Rishi was asleep but his face was dark as he was still having the nightmare haunting him. Narmada cried helplessly seeing Prakruth.

"Prakruth, whole night he was crying and screaming in fear. It was very difficult to make him open the door of his room. Thrishul played a fool trick and got him out" explained Narmada.

"Thanks Thrishul" said Prakruth to Thrishul who stood next to the bed with Punya.

"He's my family, I don't need a Thanksgiving from a outsider" said Thrishul.

"Thrishul behave!!" warned Punya.

Thrishul walked out slamming the ward door behind him.

"Punya can I have a word with you??" asked Prakruth.

She looked at her parents and said "Yeah sure"

"Outside please" he asked.

She nodded and walked out with him.

"What happened again?" he asked panicked as soon as they came out of the ward. The corridor was deserted.

"After he shut himself in the room, he was quiet for some time. Later he started screaming like he saw a devil. Thrishul lured him out telling he has holy water to save him."

"Then what else he told??" asked Prakruth.

"When he came out, he was shivering badly. When pleaded he claimed that he heard you inside his room and that you threatened him to shut his mouth or.... or you'll"

"Or what?"

"Kill him" said Punya.

"Well do you believe that?"

"No..no no way, not at all. You were talking to me over the phone when he started screaming. How can you manage to be in two different places? Remember we were discussing who could it be after dinner?? This incident happened at that time" explained Punya.

"Oh... Punya poor kid is suffering because of me. I feel so bad about myself" said Prakruth sadly.

"Hey it is not because of you, look at me. You're no way responsible for this" said Punya lifting his face with both her hands.

"Why would someone use my name??" asked Prakruth.

"That we need to explore" said Punya.

"Hello Darling" said a sweet voice from a distance.

"Hi Roshni, how did you know I'm here?" asked Prakruth.

Punya was shocked to see her after almost an year.

"Finding the person we love in a small town like this isn't that difficult" said Roshni charmingly "Hi Punya, hope you remember me?" she asked.

"Ye Yes Yeah of course I remember.... Hi" Punya stuttered.

"How's your brother? Hopefully he hasn't seen a vampire himself yet" said Roshni.

Punya just nodded sideways.

"Someone isn't happy about my arrival, isn't it honey" said Roshni and hugged Prakruth.

"Roshni, you know I don't like this. Behave" frowned Prakruth.

"Well you don't like it in front of her, Fine. I'll keep this in the farm house. See you there" said Roshni passing a flying kiss towards Prakruth.

Prakruth gave a disgusting look and turned his face away from her.

"Punya did you tell anyone that your brother is scared about vampires??" asked Prakruth.

"No, it is only amongst our family. Why?" she asked.

"Do you have that morphed photo with you?" he asked curiously.

"Yes here it is" she handed over the photo from her handbag.

"Nice skill" said Prakruth scoffing.

"Do you have any clue who did this?" asked Punya.

"Nope, I think I know who did it exactly" he said.

"Who is that idiot? I want to talk to them why did that to my brother?" said Punya.

"I will handle it from here. You take care of your brother" said Prakruth and kissed her forehead.

"Sure?" asked Punya.

"Yes I'm" said Prakruth and walked away.
