Yinshan Ancient Building Chapter 42 Yao Family Courtyard

The Miao Yao people have been at odds with the Han family since ancient times. They live in separate groups and are very concerned about their own heritage and blood. Especially the Nanyao people have been the place with the most conflicts among ethnic minorities since ancient times. In ancient times, there was the Sanmiao Rebellion. Before the liberation, there were Hakka villages. For a well or a ditch, the Han Yao and the Han Miao, or even the Yao village and the Yao village, would kill so fiercely that they would directly It gave birth to the Taiping Rebellion. It can be said that the suspicion and estrangement between the ethnic groups at that time were as strong as fire and water.

Therefore, it is completely impossible for the Yao and Han people to live together. Even if the Yao people are willing to accept the Han people to settle in the village, the Han people must live in the Yao houses. It is absolutely impossible for the Yao king to allow the Han people to build such houses in the Yao village. Plant a big tower that shows off its power.

I couldn't understand it at all. It was like finding a watermelon in a sorghum field!

Slowly sinking, looking at this ancient building quietly, I discovered something even more strange. This Chinese-style ancient building was completely wrapped in the surrounding stilt buildings, and the tiles on the roof were exactly the same color. , seems to be deliberately protected by stilt buildings. Looking from the outside, there is no such ancient building inside.

Looking at the scale of this Han Tower, it is very strange. It is in the shape of a mouth, with a patio in the middle and three-story buildings around it. The base and outer walls are all made of strips of stone. Anyone with a discerning eye for architecture can see it at a glance. , this is the style of the large houses along the streets of southern wealthy families during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. They are usually family courtyards built by local prominent families. They are several meters deep, with gardens and more buildings behind them. The huge stones are used to prevent bandits and thieves. This kind of incomparably familiar building can protect the self-sustaining lives of hundreds of people in the deep house compound.

In other words, this ancient building should be the front face of a deep and large house. Its door faces the high wall outside the middle street, surrounding the entire ancient house. It is surrounded by large doors, small doors, screen walls, and some doors. To allow servants to enter and exit, some may be storefronts doing business along the street. After entering through the gate, there is a complex corridor leading to the back of the house. The most typical representative is Lake Herring Lying in Hangzhou.

However, there is only one single building here. It seems that the later part has been cut off with a knife, leaving only one head in the entire ancient village.

I swam slowly around the building, and it was true. Behind it was a bluestone street, surrounded by Yao's stilt buildings. There were no other Chinese-style buildings. It was incredible.

Similar situations are not unheard of. After liberation, some large houses were allocated to the poor. Dozens of families lived in one building, and the passage to the yard behind was blocked. The front and rear houses were originally a house. Therefore, into many independent units. But the situation here is obviously different.

I have read so many books, and I especially have a deep memory of Chinese classical architecture. Countless concepts flashed through my mind, but I still could not find any understanding that I thought I could pass. A layman might think it's making a fuss out of a molehill, but for me, it's like a stuck in my throat, who the hell built this building? Why is it built like this?

The cyan light comes from this ancient Han-style building.

It suddenly went out when I arrived. Could it be that the "people" in the house discovered the uninvited guest? Or do you want to tell me that this is my destination? I even thought that this was a Han-style village, and the ghosts in it should also be Han people, so maybe they could let me go out of sympathy for the same race.

No matter what, I had to enter this ancient building to find out. The overwhelming doubts even made me less afraid.

Floating above the patio, the bottom is like a huge and dark wellhead. I turned on the search light to the brightest and looked down. I saw neither luminous things nor debris.

I no longer gave myself time to panic or imagine. I forced myself to calm down, turned over, waved my flippers head-down, and dived into the patio.

As soon as the space was gathered together, the light came on, and the brightness was quickly adjusted so that the eyes could adapt. By the time it was completed, the person had already descended into the courtyard.

The feeling is different. The white particles floating around are all caused by the water flow caused by my descent. The stone tables and chairs below are indeed full of sediment. The search light was shining in all directions. There were large pillars at the four corners of the patio, two on each side of the middle, twelve in total. Inward was a corridor of wood and stone, and beyond that were rooms with carved window grilles. They were all covered with decay and collapse. It is white and looks extremely worn.

The wooden doors and windows are falling off and decaying, but miraculously, the structure of the houses here is still intact. It may be that high-quality wood was used at that time.

Turning the searchlight, there are doors on all sides. The front is the back door leading to the front hall, the back is the door leading to the yard, and the two sides are leading to the side compartments. Couplets are hung on the pillars at the door. The wood of the couplets is not as good as the wooden pillars. They are twisted and have fungus-like wooden flowers. Half of the couplets on two of the doors fell to the ground and rotted. Only the front and back doors are preserved. relatively intact.

I waved my flippers and wiped off the attachments on the couplets behind the front hall. They were these two couplets:

Already defeated and triumphant

Still thinking about Qufu and chanting poems

This is a very common couplet, but I can see the meaning of the couplet, which shows that the owner of this building has military merit. The owner of the building is a soldier? And judging from the size, he should be an officer.

The back door of the front hall had collapsed into a ball of mud, and a window frame had several large cracks. It shattered into pieces when touched by hands, billowing like smoke in the water, as if it would disappear at any time. The flashlight shined through the gap. It was extremely messy inside, with collapsed wooden beams and some indescribable debris. It was obvious that the interior was severely damaged.

You can vaguely see the back wall in the middle, which is a wall standing in the center of the room. In Feng Shui, the Qi comes in through the front door and cannot be allowed to go out directly through the back door. There must be a wall in the middle to block it, which is called the surrounding beam, so that the Qi can flow. Don't walk too fast, so you can stay in the house more often. It is also said that in this way, the opening at the back changes from north-south to east-west, which is more conducive to wealth.

This actually makes sense. If you are engaged in any conspiracy, you will definitely not be able to escape. There is a back wall, which gives people room to move around. Even if a robber comes in, there is still time to hide.

I swam in cautiously. The reason why I entered the front hall first was because the couplet reminded me of something... Most of the front halls of wealthy families in Guangxi and Guangdong have plaques and attics with spiritual tablets. The plaque there must be related to the identity of the owner, so I decided to check it out first and look for clues.

Entering inside, I took a quick look and was dumbfounded.

When the search light was shined everywhere, it was found that the interior of the front building was completely rotted, and the wooden floors had all collapsed. There was no ceiling when looking up, and the highest roof could be seen directly. The only things that had not rotted were stone parts and some huge thick wooden beams. A large amount of debris fell to the bottom of the building, which was in complete ruins. The interior space of the entire building is like an old building demolished on the roadside with only its skeleton left, or a huge and simple scaffolding.

I hovered and scanned the upper end of the wall with my search light. It was basically all rotten. I could only get a plaque on the top, which was also very rotten. I swam up and carefully wiped off the attachments on it. The color has completely faded away, leaving only the earth-colored raised outline, and four words can be vaguely distinguished: Fan Tianzi Bao.

I didn't understand what it meant, but the signature made my eyelids jump. It was... the owner of the Zhang family. On the back are the year, month and day stamps.

This kind of plaque may be given by others. If others don't send it, and the owner is a scholar or an elegant person, he will write it himself. It is unlikely that there are any Yao people in the Yao Village here who can write Chinese and write such beautiful calligraphy with calligraphy. This is a very beautiful thin gold calligraphy. I have been making rubbings for so many years, and I can see that its writing power is very profound. This Zhang family building owner is most likely the owner of the ancient building.

"Lord Zhang family..." I said to myself, "Zhang family?"

Zhang Qiling, Zhang Zhang, is it a coincidence?

Thinking of everything that had happened before, the large number of clues found here seemed to be vaguely related to Menyou Ping. Could it really be related to him in some way?

interesting! Great people do great things, this strange old building, could it be the old house of a stuffy guy? Is this Zhang family owner his ancestor? Think about it, it's really possible.

The owner of the Zhang family is able to build such a mansion in the mountains. It is obvious that he has a strong family background, is also good at calligraphy, and the content of the couplets is extremely arty. No matter how you look at it, he should be like Hu Xueyan, who compares himself to the Confucian businessmen. But for such a family , why was such a weird building built in a remote Yao village? Did he come here to live in seclusion due to persecution, or did he have other motives?

I suddenly felt a little excited, thinking that a lot of stories must have happened in the ancient building. If it really has something to do with Menyou Ping, this time it will be worth it! It's a pity that there is nothing else to see. There should be a lot of calligraphy books displayed in the front hall, but they must be all rotten now. It would be great if there were more words. It seems that I only have to go from room to room, looking for all the clues.

I looked at the oxygen meter and saw that there was still half of it left, so I had to hurry up. I plan to retreat to the patio first and then think about which room is most suitable.

Just as he was about to swing his flippers, he suddenly felt something in the back of his head, and a cold green light lit up behind him. ④Read on Tianshu Chinese website
