On the second day after the first clear of Underground, Nocturne and Fu Wei went to the auction to clear out the extra miscellaneous items and bought some teleportation scrolls crafted by Rune masters.

They realized there were already some ingredients used to craft Frost Protection Potion appearing in the sold list but not Fire Protection Potion.

As for why Frost Protection Potion’s ingredients came into the market much faster than Fire Protection Potion, it was maybe because Fire Protection Potion’s ingredients required a fish rather than herbs.

In Destiny Online, even fishing was programmed with hyperrealism in mind, therefore there were only so many players who decided to pick up fishing, most of them were old men in real life; 99% of them were men.

The most popular lifestyle skills would certainly be Mining, Harvesting and Skinning. On top of that, even combat players would learn one of the three lifestyle skills because they would run into randomly spawned mining and harvesting spots when they clear dungeons.

Killing monsters would also allow them to skin the monster on the spot, therefore many combat players learned those skills to aid themselves financially.

“Sigh. Ingredients for Frost Protection Potion are already in the market. According to how the devs work, I think we have at most two more days and the market will see the first ingredients for Fire Protection Potion,” Nocturne said with a sigh.

“Phew. I guess our earning spree will end in a few more days. I’d like to take a good rest then, I’m really tired from the endless farming in the past few days. I’ve never felt so tired, even when I was rushing design sketches back then.” Fu Wei looked like his soul had been sucked out.

“It’s tiring but it’s worth it. Like you said before, if you are not motivated in earning money, what else can motivate you, or something like that.”

The duo then continued farming endlessly.

A few days later, as the ingredients flooded the market, the price Beitang Meng offered started to lower and the two of them decided to take a rest since the market was starting to get saturated. They were on the brink of dying of exhaustion after all.

After farming day and night for almost a week, the two of them found a lake with a view and set up tables and chairs for a picnic. They enjoyed the scenery while eating the food Nocturne prepared.

He read about it on the internet before. This kind of special dungeon required a special kind of lifestyle class to clear, it was one of the methods that the devs took to raise the importance of lifestyle skills.

“How about it? Though I have no idea what the dungeon looks like, based on the data we gathered from other existing dungeons, I’m sure you will be able to get a ton of Fishing mastery and some special fishing gear.”

“Sure. When do we start?”

“Tomorrow morning at 7.30 a.m. Night Town’s Night Rose Tavern, I’ll see you there.”

“Noted.”

Right after he ended the conversation with Beitang Meng, Nocturne talked to Fu Wei.

“Beitang Meng got me a fishing exclusive dungeon scroll, she invited me because my Fishing mastery is high, so you will have to go solo tomorrow.”

“WTF? Hoes over bros? You bastard! Ditching your brother over some girls?!”

“Of course I am. Why would I spend my time with you instead of being with a girl? I’m not gay.”

“I have no words.”

“Whatever. Go to sleep.”

“It’s still early.” Fu Wei looked at the time and it was just a little over 9:00 p.m.

“I have to wake up early tomorrow and I’m exhausted from all the farming, so I’ll be hitting bed early today. I have to make up for the sleep I lost in the past few days.”

“You are right, I think I’ll go to bed early today as well.”

After coming back to real life, Nocturne took a bath and got a shave, shaving off the beard and moustache that he had kept for a few days.

He then prepared to go to bed but he saw Chubby Blue come to him with a cat stick. It put the stick down in front of Nocturne and started at it with its googly eyes.

It was like it was trying to say, “Hey slave, you know what to do.”

“What the heck?”

Nocturne did not know whether to cry or laugh at his cat when he realized what the cat stick meant. He picked up Chubby Blue and rubbed its head strongly, “Why are you so cute?!”

Speaking of Chubby Blue, Nocturne had been busy playing games recently and neglected his cat. Chubby Blue must be feeling lonely due to the negligence.

“Fine.” Nocturne took the cat stick and started to tease Chubby Blue.
