Dragon God Warrior

Chapter 11 - Trouble awakens in the Dragon Realm

It had been 10 days since Long Suanni's birthday was celebrated.

In those 10 days Long Suanni had been to embarrassed to see Long Lao Er after the event with the red jasmine but in the end she decided to see him again and continue as if nothing had happened.

Long Lao Er's ninth birthday was coming soon. In just a month would be his birthday and Long Suanni knew it, but she didn't know how to celebrate it or what to gift him.

Long Suanni went to consult with her mother, Long Fuxi.

"Mom, how do you think we should celebrate Lao Er's birthday?"

A sweet smile appeared on Long Fuxi as she answered "Why don't we invite him to your courtyard dear. There we can celebrate his birthday."

"Are you sure mom, most of the elders don't like him very much because of his low cultivation, and although dad doesn't hate him, he doesn't approve him either." responded Long Suanni to her mother.

"My dear Suanni, it's okay if we don't invite your father or anyone else, as long as the people who comes to celebrate actually care for Lao Er; everything will be okay."

Long Suanni became happy after hearing her mother's answer. It seemed that her mother was the only one that supported their relationship.

When Long Fuxi heard about Long Lao Er from her daughter's mouth, she was able to understand how happy this boy made her daughter. Long Suanni used to be lonely and cold toward her peers, but after meeting that boy; a spark of life and happiness had been awaken on her daughter.

Long Suanni used to be lazy in her studies and cultivation, but after meeting Long Lao Er, she became serious. That was why Long Fuxi appreciated Long Lao Er and supported their relationship.

Then Long Fuxi finally met Long Lao Er face to face; she felt shocked. On first impression, Long Lao Er seemed like a simple boy, handsome and smart. No wonder her daughter had developed a crush on him.

But what actually amazed Long Fuxi was that this kid was the most courageous person she had ever seen. He didn't care what everyone said or think about him, when he had a goal in his mind he would deliver.

Long Fuxi suggested her daughter to gift Long Lao Er the jade sword sealed in the most sacred part of the palace. That sword which should be given by Long Suanni to her future husband as a gift in return for the red jasmine.

On Long Lao Er's birthday, Long Lao Er arrived to Long Suanni's courtyard. There he met Long Suanni and her mother.

Long Suanni was dressed in a silver dress which beautifully contrasted with her golden hair. Her pure smile and bright smile as the sun, made Long Lao Er's heart race fast.

On the other side, Long Fuxi was dressed on a red and black dress that accentuated all her curves. The dress exposed the milky valley of her b.r.e.a.s.ts, while her brown hair felt all the way to her perky h.i.p.s. With a mysterious smile and a warm smile she welcomed Long Lao Er to his birthday.

Indeed, it was a fun birthday. Between the 3 of them and a few palace maids who served them food, they play games, eat and had fun. This had definitely become not only the best birthday but the best day on Long Lao Er's life.

Before this day Long Lao Er wasn't used to celebrate his birthday before. His grandpa had never been much interested in birthdays, only cultivation mattered to him and he was always happy to help Long Lao Er develop his cultivation.

Some times Long Lao Er would reflected whether his grandpa loved him or not. He certainly wasn't super strict as he used to be, and now he was so super laid back.

Before the incident Long Yi used to train him like a soldier much to Long Lao Er's frustration, but know if he didn't reminded his grandpa to train him, he wouldn't.

On her mother's recommendation; Long Suanni gifted the old jade sword that was stored on the palace shrine. Long Lao Er was so moved by this gesture that he kissed and hugged Long Suanni, and did the same to Long Fuxi, much to Long Suanni's dismay.

There was a big difference between hugging the daughter and the mother. While the daughter's hug felt like taking a trip to the plains; hugging the mother felt like getting caught between 2 big warm and soft marshmallows. That last hug had felt like even better gift than the old sword. But Long Lao Er wouldn't say it at loud.

Shortly after the birthday the Dragon Queen suggested both kids to let her train them both.

"Lao Er, the purpose of this training is not only to elevate your cultivation level, but to get you used to the jade sword, understood?"

"Yes auntie, I will follow all your teachings and make you proud." said Long Lao Er, back to Long Fuxi.

"The first thing that you should know is that the jade sword that little Suanni gave you must absolute not be shown to anyone at all especially my husband, you cannot show it even to your grandpa."

"Yes auntie" answered Long Lao Er to Long Fuxi.

"Second, you can only use and show this sword when I am training you or in a life or death situation for you or for little Suanni. Once the day arrives that you have managed to marry her; you must not show it." said Long Fuxi to Long Lao Er.

And that's how Long Lao Er's and Suanni's training started with the Dragon Queen herself for the next 3 years.

On those 3 years, Long Lao Er cultivated all the way from the third level to the sixth level of the Qi Condensation Realm. Along Long Suanni, the Dragon Queen teach Long Lao Er the Supreme Ascending Rozan Dragon art.

3 years later

On the outskirts of a town close to Dragon City, fluctuations were crystal clear on the array that protected the Dragon Realm from invasions. Since the founding of the Dragon Realm; this array had been protecting the Dragon Realm by not allowing spatial interference from inside and outside.

Between those fluctuations, holes were being formed as shadows emerged.

Some days later kids started disappearing until the guards found the missing kids corpses without their Dragon Cores.

Long Yazi the Dragon King, as well as all the elders were angry as hell. They couldn't understand how someone would do something so horrible as not just kidnapping innocent kids, but also kill them for their cores.

A crisis had befallen on the Dragon Realm. Long Yi alongside some other senior elders were dispatched to investigate and find the criminals. The rest of the senior elders were ordered to be on alert and protect the Dragon Palace, while the junior elders were dispatched to the Dragon City and adjacent towns to help guards protect the realm.
