Dragon God Warrior

The tournament was over and both Long Lao Er and Suanni were now in the medical pavilion.

The Dragon Queen and Long Yi were also present helping heal both kids. Especially Long Lao Er as he was having a Qi defisence.

"Here eat this pill Lao Er, it will help you with your Qi deficiency." Said Long Yi to his grandson. Long Lao Er accepted it, meanwhile Long Fuxi, the Dragon Queen was using her own internal Qi essence to properly heal Long Lao Er as he was quite hurt internally and externally.

"Lao Er it seems that your meridians and accupoints are a little damaged so before you consume your grandpa's pill let me heal your meridians and accupoints. Don't you agree elder Yi?"

"Certainly as always you're right your highness." Answered Long Yi.

"Hey aren't you forgetting someone?" Retorted an angry Long Suanni as she witnessed how she has been ignored.

"Sorry my dear you only have some minor internal injuries and a couple external injuries. Elder Yi could you heal my daughter? I would help her but I'm currently busy with your grandson and I can't stop until I'm done." Asked the Dragon Queen.

"Sure your highness. Then excuse me my Princess let me help you." Said Long Yi to Long Suanni who with a jelous face look back at mother who was affectively healing Long Lao Er.

Later on the Dragon Palace a party to celebrate the champion was being held.

Filled with thousands of decorations which made the Dragon Palace look even more sumptuous than ever.

In the party all the elders were present, from the Junior Elders to the Grand Elders, except for Long Qiuniu, who had been imprisoned for 2 years for trying to kill Long Lao Er. Obviously the Royal Family was present as well as the newest champion Long Lao Er.

A happy Dragon King was toasting in the champion's honor.

"First of all, I want to congratulate our new champion Long Lao Er.

Lao Er showed us a good amount of incredible battles and courage when fighting stronger opponents."

Said the Dragon King as he looked at Long Lao Er, then he looked at his wife and said.

"As expected of my wife's direct pupil with her guidance Lao Er managed to triumph, so I should also congratulate his master, my wife Long Fuxi.

Finally I also want to congratulate the person who raised him, his grandpa; Long Yi.

For Long Lao Er!!"

Said the Dragon King as he raised his glass and drink.

"For Long Lao Er!!" Everyone exclaimed and drink.

"Still, there's one last thing I have to mention that it's related to my daughter's engagement."

Everyone looked back at their King before he continued.

"Lao Er, if you want to marry Suanni you still need to become the Dragon Warrior.

Winning the tournament only means that you are a Dragon Warrior candidate, once you go to the Heavenly Dragon Shrine; you'll have to compete against the strongest cultivators from younger generations. That includes the Evil Dragon Sect that are established in the south, the Wind Dragon Family from the west, and from the east the Four River Caves."

A worried expression originally appeared on Long Suanni but her expression got erased when she saw Long Lao Er with a calm expression.

"I won't disappoint Suanni and you, your majesty!" Courageously answered back Long Lao Er.

A silent Long Yi looked at his grandson waiting to say something to him, but he hadn't been able to talk to Long Lao Er, so Long Yi had decided to wait before inviting his grandson into his own camp.

After the party, the Dragon Queen Long Fuxi and her daughter Long Suanni were back in Suanni's bedroom as the mother brushed the daughter's hair, Long Fuxi was congratulating her daughter for getting pre engaged with Long Lao Er. This was supposed to be a happy moment for Long Suanni, but threw a suspicious glance towards her mother and said.

"Mom you seem very happy that Lao Er won. As her master you must certainly be proud of him, so during our fight, whom did you root for?"

Not thinking too much for her response a joyous Long Fuxi answered to her daughter.

"Of course I rooted for Lao Er." A second later Long Fuxi realized her mistake and try to correct herself but Long Suanni asked her.

"Mom, could it be that you like Lao Er?"

Not waiting for her daughter to continue an embarrassed Long Fuxi answered.

"Of course I like him. He's a courageous and smart boy with a straight good personality who loves you very much. Actually I'm jelous of you my dear, you have found someone to love."

Confused by her mother's response, Long Suanni asked.

"What about father, don't you love him?"

"Well my dear amongst all my suitors not only was he the strongest but he had the best personality so I liked him but I've never actually loved him. I only married him because I had responsibility but don't tell your father.

By the way if you're worried whether I love you, I do love you my dear daughter."

Hearing her mother's confession, Long Suanni remained silent.

Meanwhile in the Dragon Prison, Long Qiuniu was kowtowing at a shadow.

"My benefactor please release this old man. Even if my son didn't won the championship and isn't able to legally obtain the Dragon Warrior Jade Sword, I'm sure there's something I can do to get it for you."

Nervously said Long Qiuniu at the majestically shadow. The shadow coldly answered back.

"You have failed me multiple times Qiuniu even when I help you elevate your cultivation real through the use of young Dragon Core's; your impatience got you locked and worst, your son lost."

"Benefactor please!!" Said a nervous Long Qiuniu.

"I won't help you this time. Thank me that I'm not killing you right now because I still need you, but for now you'll remained here until your punishment is over. Then we'll execute my new plan."

Said the shadow at the excited Long Qiuniu.

Back in Long Qiuniu's mansion a crippled Long Qiong was angrily berating his maids when suddenly his brother Long ZhangLang came and dismissed the maids.

"Brother is it true that, that bastard of Lao Er won the tournament and has been engaged to my Suanni?"

Asked Long Qiong to his brother.

With a cold expression, Long ZhangLang answered his brother.

"Indeed that's true brother."

Mad at the situation Long Qiong wanted to get back at his brother but due to him being a cripple, there was nothing Long Qiong could do.

With his cold face, Long ZhangLang continue telling his brother.

"Worry no more brother. Lao Er still needs to venture by himself into the Demonic Dragon Forest if he wants to reach the Heavenly Dragon Shrine, so I already hire a group of assassin's who are on the initial stages of the Core Formation Realm to take care of him."

Long Qiong wanted to congratulate his little brother, but before he could do it a wantonly smile appeared on Long ZhangLang's face as Long ZhangLang said.

"Unfortunately for you my brother, you won't be able to taste my revenge against Lao Er and not only that but the one that will own Suanni would be me!!"

And Long ZhangLang put both hands on Long Qiong's head and squished it until it exploded.

"You always thought you were better than me but who became the cripple in the end. Now I'm going to use your own core to increase my cultivation and become Suanni's only suitor once Lao Er gets killed.

Unlike father who couldn't made the Dragon Queen his and lost to his big brother; I have already turned you into my stepping stone brother.

Once I'm done with my cultivation and with Lao Er I will make Suanni mine!!"

Madly declared Long ZhangLang over his dead brother's body.

Ten days later after the party it was time for Long Lao to go to the Heavenly Dragon Shrine in oder to become the Dragon Warrior.

Waiting to say their farewells Long Fuxi his master and Dragon Queen, Long Suanni his girlfriend/fiance/Dragon Princess, Long Yi his grandpa and Long Yazi, the Dragon King were present.

"Good luck Lao Er, once you come back as the Dragon Warrior, I will immediately marry you to my daughter." Promised the Dragon King.

"Good luck son. I haven't had much chance to talk to you in the past days but we'll talk once you're back." Said Long Yi.

"Farewell Lao Er I know that you'll be the Dragon Warrior next time we see each other." Said a lovely Long Suanni who wanted to kiss him but didn't dare due to the presence of people.

"Good luck and make me proud!" Said Long Fuxi with a seductive smile which she had only shown at her pupil and planted her lips upon Long Lao Er's forehead for a couple of seconds before she took them away from Long Lao Er's red face much to the Long Suanni's jealousy.

"Farewell everyone. Next time I meet you, I'll be the new Dragon Warrior."

Proudly declared Long Lao Er as he went away from Dragon City into the horizon with the light of the sun on his back.

Little did everyone knew that amongst the light that covered Dragon City a spot if darkness was emerging and taking roots inside Dragon City.
