Fate's Reversal: The Divines Return

Chapter 41 - Insufferably Unreasonable

Dumbfounded Kaiden remained stuck in front of the door, as he wordlessly blinked his pale golden eyes.

'T...T-The audacity on this woman!!'

Once again Kaiden knocked on the door but this time it was far from gentle.

"Oh my god!! Stop f.u.c.k.i.n.g knocking!", an angered voice sounded from the other side of the door as she flung it open.

"YOU JUST SLAMMED THE DOOR IN MY FACE!" screamed Kaiden.

Rolling her eyes and scoffing as she crossed her arms under her bust, "So? What does that matter? Are you gonna punish me? Did I hurt your little pride? Well boohoo, I'm not your mom go cry to someone else.

"Eh?! What the f.u.c.k is wrong with you? How old are you to be acting like this? Were you dropped on your f.u.c.k.i.n.g head as a child? NO NO all of the nutrients from your brain must've traveled to your a.s.s you ditsy bi-..."

Mid-sentence Kaiden ducked as a stool was flung at him.

"Watch your mouth you little shit. How dare you talk to a lady like that? Staring at my a.s.s, are you? Ok! You love objectifying women?!", EnchantingThread stared at Kaiden with a cold, focused gaze.

'DAMN! This unreasonable bimbo! She has the attitude but she throws something at me!'

Kaiden's gaze became electric as his fist creaked and tightened, his pale golden eyes radiating a glare. The ambient energy between Kaiden and EnchantingThread began vibrating slightly.

"Or...what? I came here to simply ask a couple yet you're so F.U.C.K.I.N.G unreasonable. What did you daddy not love you as a child? Is it so hard to offer the basic common courtesy?"

"S-Shut UP! How dare you! Don't you dare talk about my father!" snarled EnchantingThreads.

However, mid-sentence Kaiden turned and left. "I don't have time for you...idiot."

"!!", apparently being called an idiot was her trigger word as he tackled the departing Kaiden to the ground and sat on top of him.

"What did you just call me?"

"You heard exactly what I uttered, I didn't stutter you f.u.c.k.i.n.g i-di-ot.", provoked Kaiden.

"Oh...so I'm an idiot? That's how you see me also…"

'What the hell is wrong with her? It's like she's…

"Are you bipolar? Get off of me!", roared Kaiden. Although his Strength was leagues above hers if Kaiden inflicted damage on her, the PK system would activate and he could possibly be inflicted with disadvantageous repercussions.

"You know...it's not polite to call a lady an idiot. Not to mention, I'm pretty sure I'm years older than you."

"Oh yeah? Well, you sure don't act like it. You act like you're back in freshman year of high school. It's ridiculous. Now off, please. I asked nicely."

"Is this how you coerce me to join your team? What can you offer me? Don't say money. I have my own. If you knew my real identity you'd trembled and hole up in a cave somewhere."

"I bet I won't. I don't care who you are so once again get off me."

"Rosana Foncesca."

Kaiden trembled slightly and his gaze transfixed on EnchantingThreads cold eyes.

"The famous viper lawyer?! What the heck are you doing here?"

Rosana Foncesca—even in his future memories, this name had horrible implications. The name was synonymous with "She-Devil", the connotations behind her names were worthy.

Over the years she acquired many different titles—"Demon Goddess", "Venomous Viper", "Financial S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s". Why? Simply because the conglomerates and corporations hated her. She would catch wind of any foul play even when buried under the Earth. As a result, all corporations went for plea deals when the case involved her—this was all done to appease the crazy woman.

In addition to her crazy body well...she was actually crazy and basically feared none.

'OH MY GOD! THIS WOMAN IS CRAZYY!'

"Mind your business, don't ask me questions. Now, what was it you called me? Oh right, an idiot. Let's talk about that."

'Uh oh...it seems I stepped on a real female dragon's reverse scale....'

"Look...I'll take a step back. I'm sorry."

"It's ok, you have done nothing wrong Kaiden."

"WHAT! W-WHAT THE F.U.C.K!? Why do you know my name?"

"Hehe, who do you think handled the contracts between you and Sonic Star Media Group."

'F.U.C.K.I.N.G TYLER!'

"What do you want...my identity can't be known to the public yet."

"Hmph, too late for all that. Since you want to call me an idiot. I'll do something an idiot lawyer doesn't hehe."

"WAIT! Ugh...I don't know what to offer you if you don't want money."

"Hmph, a hormone raging snotty-nosed "small" 18-year-old has nothing to offer I want. Unfortunately, you're not a man."

Kaiden trembled at EnchantingThread's statement. His manhood was being challenged! She was belittling him, literally. His gaze grew colder than the snow-capped Mt. Everest.

Kaiden's voice shifted to one that resembled a cold demon, emotionless and murderous, "You have gone too far. Get off of me."

As a result, a shiver traveled down EnchantingThread's spine as she looked down into his eyes. 'T-Those eyes...a boy shouldn't have such cold eyes…

"I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean t-"

"Off." spoke Kaiden simply.

"Additionally you may leave this residence nor do I care what you do with my name. Just be prepared for the consequences."

"Wait! I said I'm sorr-"

"And I said off, see how this works?"

"I don't want to go! I don't have enough reputation to buy a residence."

Kaiden looked at her coldly and tilted his head.

"And that's my problem, how? You're nothing special. I'll simply find another Basic Tailor.

"W-wow...what a way to crush a lady's spirits.", getting off of Kaiden, EnchantingThreads looked dejected.

'Oh, this f.u.c.k.i.n.g woman is bi-polar.'

"Sign this and you can stay."

Kaiden threw a modified Destiny Sealing Contract with 2 extra clauses.

'If you would like to stay you forfeit payment and profit of merchandise for 3 weeks in real-time.'

'You are not allowed to disclose any information pertaining to me. I may kill you. Okay, that's rather extreme but I will pursue you to the furthest extent of the law.'

EnchantingThread's had a rather eccentric personality, because of her occupational field she came off as haughty and blunt. However, pursuing nothing but her career also made her give up basic human contact for long periods of time which caused her to "nurture" split-personalities.

"I can sign on one condition."

"What?"

"Give me a kiss."

"Eh?! Uh, I don't think I heard that properly."

"Kiss me. This is virtual reality so I don't need to worry about consequences but it'll feel real I think…"

Her voice fell to a murmur, "...plus I have...never felt the touch of man…"

"You're kidding, right? Do you not see your body? How have you not?" guffawed Kaiden.

"Just do it okay?! Don't ask."

'Hmm, she's insufferable, however…"

Kaiden once more did a double-take on EnchantingThreads. Kaiden was sure she was of Brazilian heritage. Her long hair was pitch black and her skin was also only a slight tan. Her looks were on par with Gentle Whisper.

However, if Gentle Whisper was a budding blossom then EnchantingThreads was a m.a.t.u.r.e one. Her lips were supple and her cheekbones well rounded. Additionally, her bust was at least D-cup, putting Gentle Whisper to shame.

Furthermore, her tuckus was well rounded and ideally plump comparable to Latahhya. With that being said, as Kaiden examined her body, he grew curious.

"How old are you?"

"U-Uh...I'll say if you promise not to tell."

Kaiden gave his assent by nodding, to which EnchantingThread replied.

"29...If you laugh I'll find you and stab you."

'Woah she is extreme just like they say in the articles.'

"I won't. Calm down."

For a moment the atmosphere filled with an awkward silence as two unfamiliar people started at each other feeling slightly uncomfortable.

Kaiden lead and leaned forward, bracing EnchantingThread's chin with his thumb and bent index finger.

Her face was a funny sight, two opposing scenes took place on her countenance. Not only was there a tinge of blush on her cheeks, but her eyes also glared coldly at Kaiden.

As their lips interlocked, EnchantingThread's gaze trembled softly and her eyes began closing.

It was a new experience for her but she would be lying if she said she didn't enjoy the foreign touch of a man. Wrapping her arms around Kaiden's neck she relished in the warmth of his lips.

For the moment, Kaiden became her drug and she became his. In light of that, Kaiden's tongue gently c.a.r.e.s.sed EnchantingThread's lips.

Opening, Kaiden's tongue assaulted EnchantingThread's with a little more expertise than he did with Latahhya.

A soft m.o.a.n escaped her mouth, as her sweet saliva trickled down the side of her mouth.

Breaking the kiss, Kaiden fell back slightly.

'Oh? Look who's calmed down.'

"Hmph, I guess that was okay. Give me the contract."

Sending her the contract, Kaiden sealed the deal with EnchantingThread.

Looking away with a scoff, EnchantingThread rolled her eyes "Call me Rosanna in private. Additionally, you must do this once a week. No! Once a day."

Shrugging, Kaiden didn't mind kissing a beauty every day at all.

"Just make sure to behave and not terrorize the staff.", glared Kaiden.

Rolling her eyes, Rosanna scoffed. "Hmph."

'Yeah...she's not going to listen at all.'

Exiting, Kaiden once again eyes TinkerBell's room but once again shook his head.

Instead, he delivered the Glory Star Cauldron and Skarlaati's Hammer to MysticalTags and OverbearingHammer respectively.

However, before OverbearingHammer could begin to start his banter—Kaiden stormed out dodging that crapfest.

Bolting towards the Auction Hall that was finally active, Kaiden couldn't wait to cause another uproar throughout Crescent Wake Town. With Guild Creation Scroll in hand, Kaiden stepped into the building that resembled what you would picture a small scale opera house looking like.

There were private bidding rooms above reinforced by Reinforcement, Reflection, and Blocking Magic. Meaning the screen was reinforced and wouldn't be broken by attacks under Tier 4. Ocular skills under Unique would be blocked, due to reflection one could only see out and not within. With that being said, the floor was littered with seats that belonged in an auditorium.

"Hello, I'd like to register an item for auction."

"Please present it, if it is up to par it will join the auction in 30 minutes."

Presenting the Guild Creation Scroll, the appraiser began examining the scroll and noted a base price.

"Hmm, a gold Guild Creation Scroll—its base price is 12,000 gold. However, it can go upwards of that easily as it eliminates the monster clearance and item collection quest. This will join the auction."

[Crescent Wake Town System Announcement-

A gold 'Guild Creation Scroll' has been listed for auction in 30 minutes. The base price will be 12,000 gold. Minimum 15,000 gold needed to participate in the auction. The auction will take place at the Auction House.

"Additionally sir, the auction fee will be 5% of the final price. If that is acceptable to you—you may officially cosign this to the Auction."

"That's fine."

Standing in the back of the auction hall inconspicuously, taking out the Mask of Obscurity Kaiden smirked devilishly as he placed it on his face.

[System: Please register at least one disguise in order to wear the Mask of Obscurity.]

Kaiden changed his disguise to one of an archer. As for his appearance, he made it slightly thin and decrepit while the hands looked nimble enough to pluck an arrow through the sun. His facial features became harsh like the years had weathered at his looks while his height reduced 3 inches.

"Change to a Tier 2 Silent Archer, Name: Quick Shot, keep a Viscount Rank."

[System: Change completed. The disguise has now caused the system to recognize you as "Quick Shot", your stats remained unchanged, however, you exude the false presence of your disguise.]

'Hehehe, now...what is first on the agenda? Ah, I would hate to be the people I target. What a shame.'

The first stop on Kaiden's journey was once again the Merchant Association.

That's right...Kaiden was about to cheat the system in order to cheat the players. This was a loophole Kaiden found in the Mask of Obscurity as well as the words of the receptionist.

'I can't become a tyrant, however, I can become an unknown a.s.s bwahaha.'

Inside the Merchant Association, Kaiden stood before the receptionist, at this point, with the gold he received from the orcs as well as announcements—Kaiden only had slightly over 18,000 gold left. Removing the guild donations, it shot up to over 22,500 gold.

'Unfortunately, my discount expired…therefore, my purchasing will be limited. I need more money for these plans! Where can I find some? Hmm..market manipulation? I would need to analyze the item heavily needed at this point and predict what would be needed next...That won't be so easy.'

And then it hit him.
