Chapter 11: Strongest Youth Competition (Part 2)

The competition had started, three battles had already finished. And now, it was time for the fourth one to start.

"Yun Yao and Luo Ren, please get on the stage now!"

It was Yun Yao's turn to fight.

She turns to look at Yun Weizhi who smiled at her, "Break a leg!" (AN: I kinda laughed here.)

"I will!" Yun Yao happily skipped over the stage, her opponent was a boy older than her by three years and was from the Luo family.

Luo Ren looked at Yun Yao with a smirk on his face, he was confident in his strength and his cultivation that is at the 4th layer Body Refinement Realm. Though he is not as talented as them, he still has the advantage of experience.

"Why don't you give up little girl? I don't want to end up hurting you." Luo Ren arrogantly said. He was dragging his sword as he walks towards the stage, the sword was producing a loud screeching that was really irritating to hear.

"Hmph!" Yun Yao snorted as she was irritated by this noise. She summoned her orange lightning which now has a tint of cyan color. She looked rather amazing from afar as the orange lightning bolt dance on her hand.

"Let me show you my strength then!"

Luo Ren could feel that the power behind that orange lightning bolt was not simple so he becomes serious. He held the sword in his hands seriously as he looks at Yun Yao.

As their inherited cultivation technique ((Lion Tiger Double Phase)) cannot be used until they are an Awakened Soul Realm cultivator, it's only used for now is to strengthen their bodies, the reason why they have larger bodies than their peers.

Luo Ren looked like someone who is supposed to be 18 years old while he is only 11 years old. Compared to the petite Yun Yao, it looked like an a.d.u.l.t and a child was fighting.

Yun Yao did not back down, "Show me then!"

She then poured spiritual energy on her legs as she kicked the ground, she dashed towards Luo Ren, the bolt of lightning in her hand slowly changed shapes.

Luo Ren knitted his eyebrows when he saw the lightning bolt slowly changing shapes, but he still prepared to defend himself.

The crowd was all shock looking at the lightning bolt change shape, especially the four family heads. That's right! Even Yun Tianhe was shocked to see this lightning bolt change shape.

Heck! Do they even consider me as their grandfather? Why are they always surprise me? Are they trying to shock me to death?!

The lightning bolt changed shape and turned into a sword, though it was not really a sword and only look like one, it is still a great improvement considering that Yun Weizhi had only taught her how to change shapes three days ago.

This is a special function of the lightning bolts created by Yun Yao's cultivation technique, she can shape the bolt as anything she wants when she reaches a certain stage in mastery.

The swords clashed with each other and Luo Ren was forced to step back by five steps while Yun Yao was forced to step back four steps.

Luo Ren looked really surprised at Yun Yao as he clearly felt it.

"You've reached the 3rd layer?"

Yun Yao smiled because she did just yesterday. It was all because of the help Yun Weizhi had given her that she manages to advance earlier than expected.

"So what if you've reached the 3rd layer? I still have higher cultivation than you." Luo Ren said.

"I don't care." Yun Yao said as she changes the sword's shape and turned it back into a lightning bolt. "I'll end this here now!"

"Hmph! Bring it on!"

Yun Yao threw a lightning bolt towards Luo Ren. It was so quick that ordinary people can't follow it with their normal eyes. The other family heads knitted their eyebrows as they can feel that the speed of those lightning bolts had surpassed the speed of a 3rd layer Body Refinement Realm cultivator.

Luo Ren was fearless as he blocked the lightning bolt, unfortunately for him, it was not just a simple lightning bolt as the moment it hit his sword, it melted from the heat.

He then hurriedly dodge before the bolt hits his head, this moment did not escape Yun Yao's eyes as she sent a kicked towards the slightly distracted Luo Ren.

When the judge announced the winner, the crowd cheer for Yun Yao.

"Big brother Zhi, how did I do?" Yun Yao happily asked Yun Weizhi. She looked at him with anticipation and was waiting for his praise.

Yun Weizhi smiled at her, "You did great! But next time, try to end it faster."

"Un!" Yun Yao nodded.

The surrounding members from the Yun Sect looked at them as if they are some sort of monsters. It was like they were trying to say, "Bruh, you ain't satisfied with that?!"

At the Luo family seat…

Luo Liancheng was greatly surprised by the strength Yun Yao had shown. It just shows that she was not one bit inferior to his son, he even had the thought of marrying the two of them, unfortunately, it will be a hard thing to do.

The other two families are also thinking the same thing. The Ye family thinks that it would be really great to marry Yun Yao to his son as both of them are really fierce. While the Chu family thinks that Yun Yao is a well-suited bride for his son as both of them are strong.

But that would have to wait for now, as they still have to wait and see if the rumors are true or not.

And they are just about to find out.

"Bai Yu and Yun Weizhi, please get on the stage!"

It was now finally time to see if Yun Weizhi can really cultivate, his opponent will be Bai Yu, a female rogue cultivator whose origin is unknown.

She just appeared in the Central State City several months ago, she displayed the great talent that made the four great families covet her. But she is really hard to find out and their guess is that there is a great expert protecting her from the shadows.

Their thoughts on this are that she must have come from a family with a mysterious background because no matter how many people they send, they still can't find where she stays.

Their only clue is that she regularly walks around the city every afternoon as if she is looking for something.

Bai Yu walks towards the stage, everyone quieted down, she looked like a beautiful swan walking on water, her moves are as graceful and elegant as them. She may be wearing a mask to hide her identity, but she can't hide the aura she emits.

Yun Weizhi looks at Bai Yu's figure walking towards the stage, he can feel that her cultivation is at the 5th layer Body Refinement Realm but her age seems to be just around the same as him.
